A few weeks ago my cars audio system started having a loud static sound come through the speakers. It quickly got a lot worse and turning the volume down or even turning the unit off did not stop the loud static noise. It got so bad that it nearly caused me to have a wreck. I contacted Honda to report the problem (case #14931953), but they acted like they had never seen this issue before and told me to go to the dealer to get a diagnostic ran. I did go to the dealer and talked to the service manager and he told me that the solution was to replace the head unit but they were on backorder. I also did some research online and a whole lot of people are having this same problem. The issue is the Head Units are overheating and Honda does not have replacement parts to fix the problem. In my opinion this is a major safety problem and is happening every time I drive my car now. Many other people experiencing this issue are also stating that this is a major safety issue when they are being blasted with very loud frequencies will trying to drive in busy traffic. I took it to another mechanic who took the bumper off and was shocked and how much water was in my headlights and in my electrical components. He said I'm lucky the car didn't shut down or catch fire and sent me pictures of water and a brown sludge he said was some kind of manufacture fix to absorb water in the lens. He said he has never seen anything this bad on such a nice low mile car. I told him I have complained to dealer many times over the years about fog and water in my headlights and every time they would say its normal it will evaporate out of the lenses. But it also left spots and dirt inside the lenses you cant get to clean. It was so frustrating they would do NOTHING about it when I was under warranty. I researched online and found many other similar complaints with jerry rig fixes the dealers would try as they never want to replace the defective headlamp as the cost to much. This is a manufacture issue and they know about it and they just push it under the rug because they don't want to pay for the recall to fix all these cars. Both the tow truck driver and the mechanic said it’s quite uncommon for a CV axle to break. I was about 1/2 mile from getting on the freeway and luckily I didn’t make it that far, because it could have been much worse during rush hour traffic. As it was, I was blocking a lane of traffic at the stoplight. I have both pieces of the driver’s side CV axle in my possession. No one other than the tow truck driver and mechanic have inspected it, yet. I had no warning at all that the axle was about to break. While doing some online research to find out the likelihood of the passenger side CV axle breaking, I came across a recall notice for the drive shaft of certain 2013-2015 Accords in salt belt states. My VIN search showed that my car wasn’t part of this recall and a call to a Honda dealer confirmed this. I’m puzzled, since we live in Wisconsin. Might the recall need to be expanded? The diagnostic code relayed to me was P0C44-00. On [XXX], I started the vehicle in a family member's driveway and it again entered limp mode with the red turtle and check engine light displayed. The vehicle was again not able to be driven and was towed to the dealer. Chrysler engineers are now involved in the repair. I do not know if the previous camera and UConnect Box issues are related to the red turtle limp mode. I feel that there are issues with the transmissions on the 2017 Chevy spark. I noticed that there have been complaints in years such as 2014 and 2019. The car is not that old. First. Noticed it when the car was at 40,000, mi. It is now recently went past 100 and the problem at sometimes is horrible. It does feel unsafe to a high degree. It is a sealed system so there is no way to do routine maintenance, which is unfortunate. I am a person who is usually up on routine maintenance and with a sealed system such as this transmission made by Daewoo in Korea, there's no way to ensure fluid levels are correct and changed in intervals. I feel like reporting just because it should be checked out. I do not know if this is an issue with other people who have spark 2019, but I wanted to send this out because the car's transmission has aged horribly over a short period of time. I have been told by Ford on multiple occasions that they will expedite my case & call me back with information, however it has been over 6 weeks and I have had to call them e Rey time to follow up. This back up camera safety issue has already been recalled on other makes & models of Ford vehicles including the year model before my vehicle. My dealership told me that although this exact same issue is recalled on other vehicles, I would need to pay the estimated $1500 to repair my issue. This has caused me and my family a significant amount of stress because we have young children, drive carpool for elementary school and need to be able to see our surroundings dings when backing up and parking. Several times I have come close to hitting something when parking because I can’t see from the camera. The NTHSB has also issued safety recalls for Ford backup cameras having this exact same issue and this is a huge safety issue for my model Ford as well. Ford knows there’s a safety issue and is not taking this seriously. We intentionally paid extra for this camera to ensure adequate vision while reversing and parking, this is unacceptable on Ford’s part to not escalate this issue and repair the defective camera at no cost. I desperately need help in getting Ford to fix this before a serious avoidable injury or accident occurs. I do not have another car I can drive and am stressed every time I drive now.Read more

The transmission has quite a bit of slop or play when placing it in park. I do not believe it could be parked safely in a residential driveway. Tranny knocks a little in low gears.

I took it to the Ford dealership and they said there was no active recall on this vehicle. So I had them check it since it’s such a high safety concern. A week before my gas tank expanding I heard a loud popping noise. When driving from NC to DC, my gas tank refused to take gas and my car immediately went to empty.
