When purchasing new tires today, we were informed that we needed to replace the lug nuts as the lug nut wrench no longer fit the top of the nuts. We researched this problems and found that others had the same

I only wonder if the recent accident when a tire flew off the truck on the freeway and hit another car causing it to flip over was because their lug nuts were "forced" on. Catastrophic "Critical" coolant system failure. Resulting in vehicle completely disabled on the roadside. Police and Fire Dept. responded. I have been communicating with Jaguar North Scottsdale and Jaguar Land Rover North America LLC for resolution. The Coolant System defective parts were identified in 2017, newly designed "y" pipe and outlet pipes, single extruded pipes, have been available since
... 2018. (See Attached Technical Bulletin). Jaguar has not offered these repairs under warranty or recall to their vehicle owners, rather, shifting the blame on the consumer. JLR has had knowledge and remedy to their disposal and have done nothing to rectify the poorly designed Coolant System, which under many circumstances has also created catastrophic engine failure, warped heads and engine block. The Service Manager at Jaguar North Scottsdale admitted that the, "coolant system was poorly designed at best".Jaguar Forums on the internet are filled with numerous complaints about this issue; this could obviously be rectified through a recall, as evidenced by the fact that JLR Service Departments have available for installation, the redesigned parts. There were no gauges or impending warning messages prior to the "critical alert" message which displayed simultaneously with steam pouring from underneath the hood and exiting the exhaust system.Read more

I placed my foot on the Brake to release the Emergency brake. I heard a pop. The brake pedal immediately went to car floor. When I tried to brake the pedal went to the floor and the car did not slow properly. I made it to the subdivision entrance when the low brake fluid indicat
... or light came on. I made it home safely. When I stopped, smelled an odor (I was told it was likely brake fluid). I had it towed to the dealership. It was diagnosed the day after, informing me brake line had broke. I asked what was the cause and possibly wear and tear? He informed a weak spot in the line. I called Lincoln customer relations bc it’s a safety issue whether it is a new or old car under warranty to address my concerns. They explained I would have to pay since a warranty was not in place. As a customer, my car is under 100, 000 miles and I service it routinely. I am more concerned of this being an issue with safety than a warranty being in place. My son or myself could have been in a bad accident sustaining serious injuries with no brakes. The Lincoln rep implied my car was old, which is an insult. It’s only 7 years old. My 22 year old Toyota is still working and the brake line has never broke. I was informed by the service tech it is unusual to see this occur in the back brakes. The brake line/hose broke and the brake fluid leaked out. In my opinion, it’s a defect, durability, and a safety issue regardless of the age of my car. It is a much bigger problem that should be addressed. The customer service rep and her manager were eluding to their extended warranty program and they could not offer financial assistance. I have paid more for services when I feel it’s wear and tear. It is a safety issue with a possible defective part, which I should not be responsible to pay, regardless of a warranty being in place or not. Safety and durability are the bigger issue.Read more

I have a 2005 Pontiac G6 that we purchased for our daughter about 4 or 5 years ago. The car has been a great first car and an emergency spare for our family, until recently. Once I was pulled off the highway, I turned the car off and let it set for about 5 minutes then strated it back up, to witch the steering wheel went back to jerking and shaking, I thought well I have to get this thing off the major interstate worse case it goes crazy and I go down the ditch. I put it in drive and the steering wheel stopped shaking and jerking. I was able to get to a parking lot that was safe to wait the 6 hours for my husband and son to get there. When we got it back home, I had been doing research on this issue and discovered this NHTSA Recall 102442, butt for some reason my Vin number is not included in this recall. So I opted to replace. Number 41 in the fuse box under the hood. At first it seemed to help. So we allowed our son to drive the G6 to a friend's house about 5 miles away, he was on his way home and called saying come get me and the G6, it done it's steering wheel craziness again and I had an accident. With no clue how bad it was we went racing to him. Thankfully our sone was not hurt nor was there any damage to the vehicle. We hauled the car home and it sat for about 6 months. When we found our family needing to have it running. We pulled it out put a new battery in it, changed all the fluids and filters. Car yet again ran like it was new. Then we hit a pot hot in the road at about 4 miles an hour and boom there goes the steering wheel and it's craziness again. Please Help UsRead more
