A FEW WEEKS LATER, MY CAR BEGAN STALLING AND THE CHARCOAL CANISTER HAD TO BE REPLACED. IT IS NOW MAY, 2014 AND I'VE HAD MY CAR BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR FUEL SYSTEM RELATED ISSUES FIVE TIMES. THEY'VE REPLACED THE FUEL PUMP AND CHARCOAL CANISTER A TOTA

AFTER THE MOST RECENT REPAIRS, I GET "CHECK GAS CAP" MESSAGES ON MY RADIO CONSOLE EVERY TIME I FILL UP, MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON AND I HAVE ACCELERATION ISSUES. I'M JUST WAITING FOR IT TO STALL ON ME AGAIN AND I PRAY IT DOESN'T HAPPEN AGAIN ON AN ON RAMP. ALL REPAIRS ARE DOCUMENTED THROUGH THE DEALERSHIP. IN APRIL, BOTH LOW-BEAM HEADLIGHTS BEGAN WORKING SPORADICALLY AND WITHIN A WEEK, QUIT WORKING COMPLETELY. I WENT TO A SHOP CLOSE TO THE OFFICE AND PAID $50 TO HAVE BOTH LOW-BEAM BULBS REPLACED. AFTER ABOUT THREE WEEKS, THE DRIVER'S SIDE BULB WAS OUT AGAIN. I RETURNED TO THE SHOP AND THEY TOOK THE HEAD LAMP OUT AND SHOWED ME THAT THE PROBLEM WAS IN THE WIRING HARNESS OF THE HEAD LAMPS. THE WIRING HAD BECOME SO HOT, THE WIRE INSULATION HAD MELTED OFF AND THE WIRES ARE EXPOSED CAUSING A SHORT AND BLOWING THE BULBS. I'M NOW CONCERNED THAT THE ELECTRICAL ISSUES ARE MORE WIDESPREAD AND COULD BE CONTRIBUTING TO THE CONTINUED PROBLEMS WITH THE FUEL SYSTEM. THE DEALERSHIP HAS BEEN GREAT TO WORK WITH, BUT IF THE MANUFACTURING DEALERSHIP CAN'T RESOLVE THESE ISSUES, I'M NOT HOPEFUL THAT MY CAR WILL EVER RUN CORRECTLY AGAIN.
