I wasn't in a car accident or anything but my engine is burning oil more then it should like I have to add oil (1 1/2 quarts of oil) every week to my engine and most times when i am driving my car I smell burning oil like its burning inside of the car somewhere and I think that my car is about to caught on fire or just go out. I see that there has been recalls on the kia Sorento's engine before and I even told the dealership about it too and they still told me that there is nothing that they can do, this all start January of this year and I have been fighting with kia over this since then. My car is just a ticking bomb before my engine jsut gives out and I don't know when that will be but I just want to get this fixed and i dont have 5,000 to replace the engine and Kia also told me that they can't replace it either so I'm hoping that this might help me in some kind of way.Read more

ADAS warning lights often go off while driving - distracting to driver I am still getting errors , even after water pump replaced (recall 24V499000 (Water pump)) as car still gets errors and shuts down, comes to a COMPLETE STOP WHILE DRIVING. incredibly dangerous. Bought [XXX] at Corwin Ford Reno Nevada. April 2023 vehicle had sporadic transmission issues - slipping randomly. Took it in and explained the issue. Told there’s no transmission person. Asked for a loaner vehicle, told that’s not available anymore. May 2024 went into reverse again on its own. Called to get it in, stated they could not make any appointments at that time. October 2024 engine intermittently began revving on its own up to 4000RPM. Told no transmission mechanic was available. We were told there’s no more loaner program, transmission mechanic is 3 months out and there’s nothing that can be done at this time. Asked us if we wanted to pay $2500 for preventative maintenance and fluid top off on the vehicle though. [XXX] the rear AC went out on the vehicle also. There is also a new recall on the vehicle for the fuel pump and a loss of fuel pressure. These are all a massive safety concern for our entire family (4 kids + 2 adults) and for the general public. Ford is refusing to take responsibility for these issues and are making it very difficult for us to work with. The contact's daughter sustained a break to the c6, fracture of the c7, t2 t3, t4 and t7, , sustained a broken left clavicle, large laceration on the right thigh, bulging of the C6, broken front teeth and a strain of the natural neck curve. Additionally, the contact's daughter was partially scalped and nearly died due to blood cloths in the lungs and legs caused by body trauma. The contact's daughter underwent surgeries on the scalp and neck and was currently undergoing physical therapy and pain management. The vehicle was towed and totaled. A police report was filed but the contact did not have the information available. The dealer and the manufacturer were notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.Read more

On roof, he discovered that this factory brand new 2025 Grand Design Transcend One 151bh travel trailer had unsealed areas of roof that he stated "definitely let rain into interior wall of trailer (at shower enclosure inside) There is a high humidity/moisture

Water remediation specialist said that moisture contained within the inside of walls leads to mold problems, as well as parts of flooring, wall, structures breaking off in transport. A potential ROAD HAZARD. Also that the wood of the wall and other interior materials have absorbed the water and retained it, causing Environmental issues inside the cabin. Extreme VOC release also. I have communicated with [XXX] from Grand Design RV Consumer Affairs Dept. regarding other issues before this and now have requested to him that I want my full refund and reimbursement on this unit (purchased this year March 2025). Via email he refused and also said neither will they replace this unit, he only said it can be "inspected" (again?) and only repaired. Although according to their authorized dealership Blue Compass of Indianapolis, Blue Compass has a one-year buy back provision. So I want to know why Grand Design will not stand behind their product by issuing full refund and reimbursement to me for purchasing this defective, hazard of a travel trailer. As this car was being driven by my mother, she was going approximately 40 mph around a turn on a road she drives every day and for now reason the car starting saying she had been in a crash, the steering stopped working and the brakes locked and she was no longer in the car. ... dealership who indicated they had never seen this type of issue there however when I researched, there had been several reports of this type of incident, 4 in VA alone. The car was at the dealership for over two weeks to be repaired as the dealership had to work with technicians at Acura to determine cause/replacement; however they indicated they can not guarantee it won't happen again. My mother lost my father two years ago and this was the first car she purchased on her own and now she is terrified. We asked Acura to help assist changing her out of this car and they simply refused through the manager of the dealership indicating they did nothing wrong and they have replaced the $8k part. Since she bought the vehicle in April 2025 and this happened just 6 weeks later, that does not give us comfort. The dealership was helpful and we were able to get her into a different kind of vehicle although she had to pay $8k more and she is on a fixed income. She has had multiple Acuras however this is a safety issue and likely a potential recall simply from numbers I have seen from research and the potential harm this could cause occupents of the car and anyone else that may be near them on the road. We are very disappointed in Acura. We may have to go back to dealership to get repair info as we didn't accept this car back, they gave my mother a loaner and then we bought a new one. A check engine light came on. I brought it to a local mechanic and my Ford Dealership and they both confirmed coolant intrusion into the 1.5 Liter Ecoboost engine. The only fix would be a replacement engine. My safety was at risk because the engine could have catastrophically failed while I was driving due to the coolant intrusion into cylinder 2. This could have caused serious injury or death.

Before the check engine light came on the car was emitting a rotten egg smell. Also when reversing, the whole car would shake. The rotten egg smell eventually went away but when the check engine light came on, the car still would shake when reversing. The car would also occasionally jerk when going to stop or accelerate after the check engine light came on. Reading online this exact issue has happened to thousands of people on several different Ford models with Ecoboost engines. Ford is ignoring the engine defect and forcing people to spend thousands of dollars on engine replacements when the issue occurs. I would go into reverse and the camera would appear but then disappear as I’m backing up. No more blinking or telling me I am about to crash. Even 3D camera doesn’t work. Drivetrain feels very strange since last OTA update. Making weird noises when driving. Battery sounds like it’s screaming. Something is really wrong.

Started vehicle and was driving, ISG (auto start stop) light went amber and transmission refused to shift to allow uphill travel. Had to pull over and turn engine off and on again for the transmission to start working. Check engine light came on while driving and engine making rattling noise. Stopped vehicle and restarted with difficulty starting and loss of engine power. Towed to nearest Honda dealer and diagnosed with cylinder 3 rod bearing damage. Engine replaced under Honda extended warrenty with used engine per warrenty company preference. Which we had to hunt for a dealership that did .We never had any symptoms or warning lights with the exception of low tire light. In late January 2025 we transferred ownership to my son and daughter in law who just welcomed another baby, boy number 4, so you can imagine they needed the room. At this time the van was around 76,000 for mileage. My daughter in law still on maternity leave takes the boys to the movies in April,2025 comes out and the Van won’t move! Mileage 80,686! This is just crazy and she has to get it towed and guess what they say the transmission is no good and here we are $6000.00 later. I have since talked with several mechanics and FB people who have been in this very situation with Dodge products, Dodge has transmission issues! I have contacted Dodge no response! Tire pressure light did not illuminate. Tire was apparently low, and tire blew out at stop. Inside sidewall of tire had large gash once tire was removed and spare installed. See picture.
