My vehicle abruptly went from 65 to 30 while driving with my children on the expressway. Earlier in 2025, I brought the car in due to driveability concerns and error messages appearing on the dash, but the dealership dismissed it and claimed I had “turned the vehicle on wrong,” despite it having a push-button start. The problem persisted until June 2025, when they finally diagnosed the valve body failure. This issue directly affects drivability and vehicle safety, particularly during acceleration and gear shifting. I am concerned that General Motors is aware of widespread valve body and transmission failures in these vehicles, yet continues to produce and sell new units while failing to ensure parts are available to support timely repairs. It is unacceptable that a major safety-related transmission issue can sideline a relatively new vehicle for over a month with no resolution in sight. GM’s lack of urgency in addressing this defect suggests a disregard for consumer safety and reliability. I respectfully request that the NHTSA investigate this issue as a potential pattern of safety defects in GM’s full-size SUV transmission systems.Read more

Dodge pulled the black box and gave findings that they weren’t liable however here we are in 2025 an issues we complained about are in recall without a remedy to fix .

Water has been leaking on my passenger side front floor, and now the blower motor has completely seized. Ford quoted me over $1,000 for a blower motor! I have requested asking for satisfaction warranty for this to be covered via email, with no response. Blower motors should not go bad this soon. I have no way to defrost or defog my windows. This is a major safety concern

... y, and sign my title over to cover towing, and avoid further billing. as of 2 weeks ago it was still there. my safety was at risk due to the electrical fire that then caught the shielding on fire, and desperately try to put it out, and no luck. the problem has not been confirmed, by anyone beside me. i have pictures and evidentally showing where the fire started. in the images it shows one and maybe two areas of toning where the wire(s) fused to the cross member about 12 inches back from the firewall in the middle on the underside of the car. the car has only been inspected by me. i retrieved the fire fighters report, and have not been able to get the police report yet due to financial constraints. though the car is being picked off of; as of the last time i took pictures, the area that caused the incident was still intact. i had been in the car no longer than 7-10 minutes of operating it when it went into limp mode and probably travelled 50 feet until it came to a complete stop; then i noticed smoke coming out from the hood; so i popped the hood, jumped out, and opened it. that when i saw an orange glow obscured by the firewall. i then ran to the passenger side, and saw a relatively small fire. so i took my coat off and tried to smother it, but then my coat caught fire, and it grew from there. when the fire department engaged the fire with water; there were 2 to 4 times that firemen ran up to me asking if it was a hybrid, and i answered no. it flared up several times creating increasing difficulty for the fire fighters; that an educated guess was caused from electrolysis.Read more

Backup camera display fails with “Camera Unavailable” notification most days. When the display does work, it flickers, resets, freezes. This also interferes with park-assist display. Sometimes even forward and/or 360 view freezes as well. OTA software 3.6.4 installed in early June DID NOT did not improve or resolve this issue.

I tried to open the doors of my locked vehicle with the key fob and there was no response. I tried several times and nothing happened.
