Early last year, our family experienced a sudden and frightening loss of power while driving at full speed on a curve, with our children and their car seats

This incident could have easily led to a serious accident and was terrifying for all of us. Since that time, the truck has spent more than half the year in and out of repair shops. The initial repair estimate was nearly $20,000—unmanageable for us, especially since the vehicle is paid off. Fortunately, a family friend was able to repair it for significantly less, but the problems have persisted. Most recently, the check engine light returned and we experienced another episode of reduced power, suggesting an unresolved or recurring failure likely tied to internal engine components such as the long block, crankshaft, connecting rods, timing chain, or camshaft. This truck is essential for our family’s daily life—including commuting to work and school, and especially out-of-town travel. Our other vehicle, a 2007 Honda Accord, is much smaller and insufficient for our growing family. This ongoing issue has caused substantial disruption, stress, and financial strain. It has also delayed our ability to upgrade to a larger family vehicle, something we had planned and budgeted for before this ordeal. Given the severity and duration of the issue—and its apparent connection to the same engine problems affecting newer models—we want to ensure this situation is documented with the NHTSA and GM. I want to emphasize that this vehicle did not have a trailer hitch installed, which raises concerns that it may have been pre-wired at the factory or otherwise contained faulty components. Additionally, I had previously brought the vehicle to the dealership twice for electrical problems, including complete failure of all lights, the windshield wiper motor, and power outlets. I have made multiple attempts to include emails and completing online forms through Norcold / Thetford (as they cannot be reached directly via telephone) and they have yet to respond, and it has been 3 1/2 weeks! I do not feel that I should have to file a claim with my RV insurance carrier, pay deductibles, and have my premiums raised due to a defect. I purchased this RV on 9/15/2021 and have never received any recall information and only discovered there had been recalls on Norcold Polar Max refrigerators after entering a google search. If we had been asleep, the chances of having fatal injuries due to this defect would have been high. If we had been traveling, the risks of losing the entire rig, vehicle, our lives, and the lives of others on the highway would have been much higher. Any help in getting this immediately resolved will be greatly appreciated as we have had to cancel any future use of the rig until a resolution has been concluded with the manufacturer of the refrigerator. I removed the harness and ordered a $60 used replacement on Ebay. While waiting for delivery, I researched rat damage to Toyota wires, and how rats could possibly enter the interior of the car. I discovered that there is an UNSCREENED 12x9 inch opening to bring fresh air into the HVAC system. It is hidden under the windshield wiper cowls. Also, there are two UNSCREENED vents in the trunk area. Other Prius owners covered those openings with 1/4 inch metal wire hardware cloth. I spent a few hours disassembling, covering, and reassembling pieces to prevent further access through the fresh air intake, and will do to the rear next. I have gotten the supposed "fuel pump" recall which is what is directly affecting this issue and the problem persists. Genesis is aware of the issue and extended the dual pump warranty extensively. My car is extremely unsafe at random intervals during my daily commute. This issue is extremely dangerous and could cause a horrific crash. The car basically turns into a slug even when flooring the pedal to try and speed up, this makes merging and changing lanes on these New York highways extremely dangerous. There is an inherent problem with the design of this car in terms of how the fuel pump and fuel pump sensors operate. On [XXX] I purchased a brand new 2025 Volvo EX90 from Volvo Cars of North Miami. I’ve been having a number of software glitches since then, but the last incident put my life in direct danger. Yesterday, [XXX] I was driving [XXX] on [XXX] (a four-lane motorway) in Aventura with around 55MPH speed and 76% battery charge. ... no information about my speed or vehicle status typically displayed on the screen. Shortly after that outage the larger Volvo screen started to flicker and went dark. At that point I started to lose control and longer able to safely operate the vehicle. Approximately 30 seconds after the larger screen went dark the turning signals stopped working and I was exposed to a direct rear-end impact from oncoming vehicles. Finally, the vehicle itself lost power and I slowed down almost to a complete stop in the middle of the road while bracing for a direct impact. By grace of God, I was somehow able to use the vehicle inertia and pull over to the side of the road and call for help using my cellphone. The vehicle regained power without any intervention roughly about 10 minutes after that incident. After the smaller screen came back online it displayed a number of error messages including “Critical suspension fault. Stop safely”, “Parking brake cannot hold the car” and others. The vehicle is currently at the dealer awaiting inspection. My fear is that similar software outages could happen to others and they may not be as lucky as I was. If this incident would have happened on the highway at higher speed the outcome would have been fatal. My best guess is that the software updated while the vehicle was in motion and took out of operation all components - powertrain, steering, brakes, even the SOS call button. Please investigate and consider stop sale order, this truly was a close call and I simply got lucky. I notice there is an investigation on the Honda Pilot Stop and start shutting off the engine this also happen to my car twice this week and also once prior to this. There are also issue where the radio will restart when the auto stop and start restart. In the report I don't believe the 2021 Honda Pilot was included.

stowing the 2nd row seat breaks the headrest. there are plastic washers in the headrest that break when the 2nd row seat is stowed more than once.

My 2021 Bronco Sport Outerbanks running at 73,000 miles, transmission has given out per Rich Ford Service Dept. I have to spend $10k plus to get it fixed. My warranty ran out. I seen a lot of people having the same issue. Transmission will not go forward or backwards. There should be a recall.
