During the appointment, the Tesla service advisor confirmed that the issue began only after the software update. However, I was told I would need to pay $3,000 out-of-pocket to repair the issue because my car is no longer under warranty. I raised the point that the malfunction was caused directly by Tesla’s software update. Despite this, I was informed that Tesla refuses to repair it at their cost, even after acknowledging the connection between the update and the malfunction. Moreover, the technician informed me that this issue could escalate and create safety hazards in 4–6 months, yet no resolution or recall has been offered. Given the acknowledgment that: The problem was introduced by Tesla's software, The malfunction affects critical safety systems, and There is imminent risk to safety, I believe Tesla should bear responsibility for the repair and ensure the vehicle is safe to operate. This situation warrants urgent attention, both from a consumer protection and vehicle safety standpoint. On the later date, Texas Nissan finally informs me of a sway bar being broken, contol arm bushing being torn, and they also "FOUND EXCESSIVE PLAY ON FRONT DRIVER SIDE SEAT FRAME." I have never notice this kind of vibration in the seat before. However, when I mentioned that the seat frame is under recall, Sean Burreal at Texas Nissan, responded that my VIN did not qualify for the recall. Took to dealership and they found coolant intrusion into cylinder requiring a full engine replacement. They quoted almost $10,000 to fix. This is a know design flaw/defect with this engine and Ford has reworked design at least twice to address.

There have been similar reports of this vibration/shaking such as this one: “Nissan Titan Pro-4X 4WD was bought new from dealership. Have had issues with the truck downshifting hard when slowing down since purchase.

Identical issue to NHTSA complaints 11578467 and 11539769.” I have also had it happen once so far. I have been driving no more than maybe 10MPH and it recognized something in front of the sensor and the truck slammed on the brakes to a stop. Mind you I was in an empty parking lot. On long drives, my forward collision sensor will randomly illuminate for no reason. It was do it in all season but more frequently in the winter. I used to own a 2017 Nissan Titan SV. On the return trip the shudder in the steering was substantially profound and the driver side view mirror was bouncing up and down, the passenger side was not, and my hands were getting numb, I slowed to 50 from 70mph and continued, the shuddering eased but was clearly still there. today I took the truck to discount tire Lake city Fla. and asked them to replace the Nexen as I felt it was failing from looking at the tire and running my hand along the tread it didnt feel normal and the tire was hot compared to the passenger side. I asked discount to spin the Nexen on the balancer and they did, it confirmed the tire was failing and was unable to be balanced. the new tire cured the problem. the truck today clocked 37k miles to give you some perspective on mileage and primary use is for towing trailers, 42' 5th wheel, 16' box or flatbed trailer. I took it to Mercedes Benz of Cincinnati and they acknowledged the fault, made some repairs (under warranty) but the mechanic told us he had already seen quite a few of these cars needing the engine to be replaced. This problem has now been reported by several drivers for this model car within less than 5 years of being made. In Canada, the same type of engine has seen same problem so Mercedes extended the warranty for 15 years on the cylinder heads. They need to do the same for the GLC engines and cover our repairs.Read more

Turned off the vehicle, used my code reader to clear the codes, started the vehicle back on and everything was clear and vehicle drove as normal. Sure glad it didn’t happen at speed! False alarms (several hundred) with audio and visual warnings but no braking. ONE instance of false alarm WITH emergency braking from 55mph to under 30mph. I do not recall a false warning happening after sundown, ever. Alarms have occurred on bright days with sharp shadows, and overcast with no shadows. ... headliner, oil consumption and electrical issues, etc. NCA and BBB claims filed, only given some of the work orders as dealership and NCA refuse to provide anything. Defect Form sent to NCA as well. Independent mechanic also reviewed car after it was initially returned to me for less than a week. Mechanic supplied a write up and pics confirming the transmission and oil leaks as well as leaks in engine and electrical issues were not resolved.
