I'm filing this complaint regarding my 2017 Honda Civic Touring (VIN: [XXX] , ~75,000 miles). The AC condenser failed, which Honda covered under an extended warranty (TSB 19-091). However, the AC compressor also failed, and Honda denied coverage, even for goodwill. I believe the compressor failure is a direct result of the leaking condenser with a possible compressor seal leak. Refrigerant loss c
... auses the compressor to overwork and lose lubrication, leading to premature failure. The car mechanic had noted how low our refrigerant fluid was. A compressor should last well beyond 73,000 miles, typically 100,000-150,000+. This early failure, linked to a known condenser defect, points to a systemic manufacturing flaw. Furthermore, the dealership's "blue light" test for leaks might have been inadequate. Honda's TSB 23-012 specifically requires a "calibrated sniffer" for compressor shaft seal leaks, a more rigorous diagnostic that may have been overlooked. This means a compressor seal leak, caused by the condenser issue, could have been missed. Widespread AC component failures (condensers and compressors) in 10th-gen Civics are well-documented, leading to class-action lawsuits. This is not an isolated incident but a pervasive defect. A sudden AC failure affects driver comfort and can be a safety concern, especially in extreme heat, by potentially causing distraction. I urge NHTSA to investigate this systemic issue and compel Honda to cover the compressor replacement, acknowledging the direct link and apparent manufacturing defect. While the vehicle was parked and unattended, the rear window of my 2025 Nissan Pathfinder spontaneously shattered without any impact or external force. There was no evidence of vandalism, collision, or falling objects, and the vehicle was stationary at the time. The glass shattered entirely, leaving shards throughout the interior cargo area and rendering the vehicle unsafe to drive or leave unatte
... nded. When the glass initially broke, there was no glass that fell inward or outward — it appeared to be a slow cracking failure, where the entire pane began breaking down gradually. I approached the vehicle to investigate and opened the rear door to get a better look. As soon as I opened the door, the natural movement and vibration from the door caused the already-shattered glass to collapse inward, which is what you see in the attached photos. Unfortunately, this makes it appear as if there was an impact from the outside, when in fact the glass was already fractured prior to any physical contact or movement. Immediately after the incident, I took the vehicle to a certified Nissan dealership for inspection. The dealer reviewed the damage but was unable to identify any clear cause or impact point, nor did they confirm a manufacturer defect. Regardless, I documented the incident extensively with photographs and obtained a formal service report. To protect the vehicle from weather exposure and theft, I am proceeding with a rear glass replacement. I am submitting this report to NHTSA because I believe this to be a spontaneous failure of the rear window glass that may indicate a broader issue with the manufacturing or installation of this component. If other drivers experience this failure — especially while the vehicle is in motion — it could pose a serious safety risk to passengers. I respectfully request that this issue be formally investigated. I am also pursuing reimbursement through Nissan Consumer Affairs.Read more

Since purchasing the vehicle on September 27, 2024, I have experienced a series of troubling issues that raise serious concerns about its design, manufacturing, and overall safety, including: Airbag system malfunction: My airbags were nonfunctional for over a month. Defective paint: Blisters and bubbles in the rear quarter panel paint. Fuel module failure: Most concerning, the vehicle abruptly stopped on the road last week and required towing. I was later told the cause was a fuel module failure. Each of these issues is concerning on its own. Taken together, they represent a troubling pattern of unreliability and potential risk to my safety and that of others on the road. They’ve also resulted in a significant loss of my time. The issue was discovered prior to vehicle delivery, and the transaction was canceled. The dealership
... has not provided any explanation for the mileage increase. This discrepancy may mislead future buyers and compromise the vehicle’s maintenance and safety records. The vehicle was not inspected by a mechanic before cancellation. The concern has been reported to the Better Business Bureau (BBB), California DMV, and CFPB.Read more

I bought this vehicle at Enterprise car sales back in [XXX] and it's been having issues for a while now recall after recall I bought this vehicle at 7745 Indiana avenue Riverside California 92504 I actually bought this vehicle without realizing that this car had a recall prior to buying it off the lot therefore in California law this company should have not sold the vehicle with a recall as Hyunda
... i has warned me about this as he advised they cannot sell a vehicle with a recall on it. When I had to Google search my recall as I have not received a letter Enterprise car sales gained the letter for the recall prior to my buy and did not mention anything as this recall was sent out on the letter way prior to buying ever since buying this vehicle I have had numerous recalls as to now there is a GDI issue with the engines as I have made many complaints through the financing company Santander consumer USA, Hyundai, Enterprise car sales, and it seems like no one has listened to me on the lemon I have gained as I'm sure it sounds just like a complaining customer. I pay a very high interest rate and very high monthly payments 523 a month is expensive let alone expensive to pay for a vehicle that I constantly have to put in maintenance and now my engine is gone my VIN number somehow is not on regards to the recall but yet my VIN number has been on every recall Hyundai has ever given out when it comes to my vehicle as the GDI 3.3 l should be really considered on regards to a recall as well as the 2.4. I'm not very happy as I would like to have a voice on to what is fair I am sick of this vehicle having issues after issues as I do take care of my vehicles with good maintenance routine all I can ask for is to have someone here my voice and to take action either from Enterprise car sales to Hyundai which I believe Enterprise car sales is more reliable at this point than Hyundai since Hyundai let me be aware of the California law they cannot sell a vehicle with recall.
