AND As per Nissan Servicing center in Springfield, NJ, The engine is completely shot and needs to be replaced. Total cost $14000. AND THEY REFUSED TO FIX IT so i had it towed back to my driveway where it has been sitting BECAUSE THE SUV IS NO LONGER FUNCTIONAL and i do not have $14000 to pay for a new engine. I bought the Nissan Rouge for $18000 only 8 months ago and have only added $5000 miles since and have a active car loan. This event raised serious concerns about the safety and reliability of the FSD system. No police report was filed, and the manufacturer was not present at the scene. Backup alert system failure: On several occasions while reversing, the car failed to issue audible or visual alerts despite vehicles being within 10–15 feet. In one instance, the screen finally showed a red zone when a car was within 10 feet, but still provided no audible warning. This issue has been intermittently reproducible but not consistent. It poses a significant risk to pedestrians and other drivers, particularly in low-visibility or driveway situations. Manufacturer's Response: The vehicle was inspected by Tesla. After one in-person service visit and extended discussions, Tesla service representatives stated there was “nothing more they could do” and that a buyback was the only next step. I made it to the first stop light and while stopped I was able to observe water droplets on the front panel of the interior fuse box. I pulled open the panel and water dropped out onto to floor. I replaced the panel. I continued to drive but was panicked and worried that water was in the fuse panel area. I arrived at my son's school and left the car running as he was dropped off. On the drive home, the beeping continued. This time, I saw the warning message about vehicle in my blind spot but I was on the street corner about to make a right turn and there was no vehicle next to me! The lights also kept switching as before. There was rust observed in the fuse panel area. When I got home, I called the dealership to inform them what happened. They refused to give me a loaner. I told them that water intrusion should not have occurred (we had severe weather and heavy rains the day prior) and now my car was having electrical issues and I was concerned for my safety and the safety of driving my 3 young children in car seats should there be an electrical fire. Additionally, the forceful shifting makes the vehicle feel unstable and unpredictable, as though something beneath the car might fail while in motion. I transport my husband and our children in this vehicle, and this issue puts all of us at serious risk. I have scheduled another appointment with a GM dealership to inspect the vehicle. Private party mechanic and oil change facilities very familiar with this issue on Kia souls. Noted that class action lawsuit against Kia for this very issue was initiated in California but was abruptly dropped. First vehicle I've ever owned that had to have oil added between changes. Noted that Kia owners manual stated that up to 3 quarts of oil consumption between 7500 mile oil changes is normal. I had oil change service done predominantly every 3000 miles.Read more

Dealer replaced my driver side mirror assembly a few months ago to get rid of the wind whistling noise, but we noted the "new" mirror would vibrate even at a fairly low speed. So took it back to dealer during the 15k mile service. The tech said the mirror had too much play so the dealer ended up replacing the whole mirror assembly. Dealership stated this was not under the recall as it is caused by a bad apim module. Warranty had expired by this time so that did not cover this either. The end failure symptom is the same as the recall but not caused by the same component therefore is not covered. Cost to replace is >$1000 so not affordable to repair. Had a few close accidents caused by the lack of reverse camera function. Vehicle is available for inspection. If the end failure is the same as that caused lack of safety requiring a recall, why would the apim module also not be replaced under recall?Read more

In 2022 under a recall the Propulsion battery was replaced that was a complete battery assembly. At 60K miles the High Voltage battery relay has become defective. Confirmed by a GM diagnostic test. Defective High Voltage relay. Was informed to get it replaced soon as it would cause a fire. Very dangerous in their words. Get repaired as soon as possible. The vehicle shudders at low speeds, it struggles to reach the speeds it needs making it hard to follow the flow of traffic or pull out into the road after coming to a stop. While I’m driving it starts to stall. Especially after I press on the breaks and try to press on the gas again it being ins to like jerk and not want to go. I thought it was my suspension or that it needed a wheel alignment but after paying for those to get renewed it’s still having that problem and the mechanic said it was most likely the transmission.

When the safety belt is buckled in the middle row seat with people sitting there, the system shows the safety belt isn't buckled and warning alert sounds some times. It is very annoying. The dealership hasn't part to replace it.
