... nd sound occurred and the AEB system deployed and car was stopped abruptly. There was no traffic and I was able to coast to the side of the road. I placed the car in park and then in drive and car was back to normal operation. Several days later the lane departure warning occurred for no reason but the car did not shut down. I took the car to Dick Smith Nissan, St. Andrews Road, Columbia, SC for service. They replaced the collision sensor for a cost of $2300.00. I called Nissan customer service, received a complaint number ([XXX]) but was told there was nothing Nissan could or would do. This is a problem occurring in many Nissan models over several years. Some of these malfunctioning sensors have been replaced under warranty. Others are part of class action suits in several states. I believe some models have been the subject of recalls. Nissan will not admit that there is a flaw in these sensors and it is a safety issue if the vehicle stalls in heavy traffic or on the interstate. I was lucky that I when my car stalled, I was in town with no traffic and was able to pull off the road. I’m hoping replacing the sensor has solved my problem but it was costly. This may result in an unexpected lock-out condition for the driver and front passenger without the ability to immediately re-enter the vehicle. I have been noticing radiator fluid loss the past few months along with a recent engine light coming on so I took my Ford Escape to Vanderhyde Ford Dealership in Cedar Springs Michigan and they were going to do a leak check on the cylinders to see if antifreeze was leaking but they were only able to get 3 of the 4 spark plug out of engine block. They said they didn't want to break the spark plug o

I asked what would cause the spark plug to corrode and they said it's possible my #1 cylinder is leaking antifreeze and corroding the aluminum intake manifold and the steel spark plugs. So, I took car back home and let engine cool and I was able to get spark plug out. I now have appointment 7/23/2025 to have cylinders checked for leaks. I purchased a 2019 Honda Civic LX July 3rd 2025 I noticed that the steering front end didn't feel right so I brought it back they still to this day the dealership has the car I cannot drive it on the highway because the steering goes to the left goes to the right I have to keep two hands on the wheel I came close to hitting a tractor trailer cannot drive over 50 mph without it being out of control
