I bought a used 2023 Buick Envision with 49k miles on it. It was not covered under warranty due to mileage. A couple of weeks after purchase the CEL came on. It was originally diagnosed as a bad battery. It was later diagnosed as a failed Telematics Module. ... e problem on many different GM cars I suspect the bad battery had been drained by the failing Telematics module. Although it did not happen to me directly others have reported the car dying in the middle of the road because the battery died. The car has only been inspected by two dealerships since my purchase. I am reporting this because there are so many others facing this problem. I live in Los Angeles and my dealership was able to get the part and replace it. So many others are not even able to get the part. Their lives are being negatively impacted. I hope you can gather enough complaints and force GM to recall these modules or come up with a solution. During a heavy rain period , the vehicle's forward collision warming sensor came on momentarily and after a few seconds it went off. This happen while driving on local roads and road was wet from the rain. And there were no cars ahead or behind me. Spoke about this with the service department at toyota dealer and they mentioned this was likely from from the rain blocking the sensor.

The mechanics informed me that I'll need to take it to the Nissan dealership to address this issue due to the warranty as well as the other engine recall. I contacted the dealership to get this scheduled. The Nissan dealership informed me that they will not be addressing the recall issue that I received in the mail. I then asked what happens if the car blows up then and was informed that, that shouldn't happen and if it does well then I guess you'll have a case. The vehicle losses power steering, speedometer indication, tire pressure monitoring, and stability control. I have been driving this vehicle when the power steering and speedometer stopped working. The steering requires a lot more effort to turn and you do not know the current speed of the vehicle. The BMW dealer charged us the customer for a software update to fix this issue. We are not confident that the vehicle is fixed because this is a random event. I believe this should be a safety recall. There is a recall on BMW 2023 and 2024 models for the same issue. The recall does not include the 2022 model at this time. Every few minutes there would be a "stabilitrak" message showing on the driving information area. Then in slower speeds my dashboard screen would blank out and then go back to CarPlay. They have not been able to identify the cause of the issue, but have also been unwilling to put the tests they have done in writing for me at this point. This event would put me as the driver, and any passengers I may be carrying at very serious risk. Other drivers could be at risk of injury if the engine were to fail and I were to lose control of the car. (3)Yes, I had the problem replicated by both my independent service center, and the Herson's Honda Dealership. I will upload the confirmation document in my report. (4)The car has not been inspected by a manufacturer to my knowledge (yet). Right now, the car is at the Herson's Honda dealership. Technicians have told me it is unsafe to drive the vehicle. (5)No lights appeared on the dashboard. I first noticed a slight knocking noise about a month ago, and then heard it again after returning from vacation, prompting us to take it into the dealership. It was quickly diagnosed as a rod bearing failure. -- Herson's let us know they would file a report with American Honda. Ricardo Benitez (Herson's) told us we were not the first to come in with this issue, and "would not be the last". Nevertheless, Herson's Honda has informed us that this is not currently under extended warranty, nor is it the subject of any current recall. This has left me with an inoperable car, with an engine replacement cost that I must bear to the tune of nearly $25,000. I urge NHTSA to compel Honda to issue a recall, given the widespread issue Honda is dealing with for my model year.Read more

I was at a stoplight, when the light turned green I went to press the gas and the whole car lost power and died. The car stalled and would not turn over again. The vehicle had power but would not start the engine. All the alerts were flashing on the dash and the car would not go into neutral, so I was stuck in the middle of the roadway. I followed the procedures to activate the manual override and

We tried repeatedly to put the car into neutral to move out of an active roadway and would be able to push the vehicle about an inch before the electrical break would kick in again. The vehicle would not start regardless of what was attempted. We even disconnected the battery in hopes of either getting the vehicle into neutral (which did not work either) or restarting whatever was wrong with the electrical system and be able to start the truck. Nothing worked and the vehicle had to be hoisted by pulley onto a flat bed tow truck. Then required to be "shaken" off of the truck when it arrived at the Ford dealership.Read more

Fuel pump went bad causing the pump to overdraw electricity on the electrical circuit which melted the fuse in the fuse box. The fuse and fuse position was melted beyond being able to use this again.
