Honda did not take any responsibility and blamed me for not taking the car to a body shop to fix whatever issue that's causing water to infiltrate. The contact stated that the six air bags of the vehicle deployed, and there was blinding smoke in the vehicle. The contact was transported to the hospital by ambulance and was hospitalized for 7 days. The contact was then transferred to a rehabilitation facility, where he was currently receiving care. The contact sustained a broken right hand and toe. The contact also sustained breathing complications as the contact's underlying cardiac and pulmonary health issues were triggered. The other driver sustained unknown injuries and was transported to the hospital by ambulance. Both vehicles sustained significant damage and could not be driven away from the scene. The contact's vehicle sustained front-end fender and hood damage and other unknown damage. The vehicle was towed to the collision repair shop for an estimate of the damage. A police report was filed. The dealer was notified of the brake failure and informed the contact that the VIN was not included in a related recall. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The rear cross traffic alert on this vehicle either does not work at all or, when it does work, it is ineffective in warning the driver. I brought the vehicle into my BMW dealer and they told me that it is operating as intended. In most cases, when backing out of a parking space or my driveway, I get no warning at all. There is a very large number of complaints about this problem on the internet. Unfortunately, I did not see these complaints before buying the vehicle. Had I known that this safety feature was ineffective in what it was designed to do, I would not have bought the vehicle. I am actually considering selling vehicle after only 7 months of ownership and taking a loss as a result of this problem. If there is a loss to be taken, it should be by BMW not me as the consumer. I believe that BMW has committed fraud with respect to rear cross traffic alert. They falsely represent that the vehicle has rear cross traffic alert which is a material fact known by them to be false. Buyers, to their own detriment, rely on this false representation in deciding to buy the vehicle. The buyer is not getting an important safety feature that they paid for and the absence of the safety feature puts them at risk of a collision.Read more

The Toyota rep told me it should be take to a Toyota dealer to diagmose any error codes.The next time the same problem occured I took it to my Toyota dealer and was told there were no error codes to indicate a problem. I have also taken the car to a local repair shop after the problem happened and was shown there were no stored errror codes.The dealer wants to have my auto for an extende time to reproduce the problem. If they need error codes to solve the issue but no error codes are recorded when the problem occurs what can they determine? Concern: The ECM is covered by the 8-year/80,000-mile federal emissions warranty and the 7-year/100,000-mile Gold CPO warranty. Yet Toyota denied my arbitration claim as “ineligible.” If such cases are refused, it means dealers can install aftermarket systems, charge buyers, and avoid accountability. In that situation, the Toyota Gold CPO program becomes meaningless—a consumer deception rather than protection. This is not only a mechanical issue but also a serious safety concern. On Tuesday, September 2nd, I was in a car accident on the freeway. A car jump out in front of me and did not go quickly enough, I hit my breaks, but still hit them going around 55-60 MPH. There are no open recalls on my car, and I am truly concerned there is an issue with the airbags and do not want anyone else to get hurt if their airbags do not go off. I spoke with the local dealership on Friday, and they recommended that I reach out directly to Audi. I contacted Audi, answered all of their questions, sent photos and the police report. This is the response I received from them today, 9/22: "Our engineer has completed the review of all the documentation you provided. Here is his assessment: Damage to this vehicle is to sheet metal and composite material components of the hood, fender, headlight, bumper cover, and radiator core support. The impact is offset to the right, outside the bumper reinforcement system with no apparent damage or longitudinal compression of the bumper deformation elements or frame long members. The progressive deformation of the components listed above absorbs crash energy over a longer period of time, lowering the vehicles rate of deceleration below the threshold criteria for airbag deployment. This vehicle performed as designed." I do not believe this is accurate because there was smoke inside the car, and now the airbag light is illuminated.Read more

This motorcycle is unstable at highway speeds. I believe the aerodynamics of the fairing and the front fender are to blame. Clearly Harley's design engineers using Computational Fluid Dynamics did not add any assumptions for solo riders under 170 lbs nor did they test the design with lighter riders.Read more
