We are not sure if this is related to the other electrical issues we are having. We've been experiencing issues with it being hard to start, the complete computer screen going blank (on video) or car changes randomly the temperature and shuts down the radio randomly. We were told yesterday that they were able to duplicate the issue and acknowledged that the gate came down "hard" not fast, but does not respond quickly when coming against opposing pressure. However, today we were contacted and told that Nissan wanted them to test other cars on the lot for the same issue, and now they are telling us that those cars respond the same way ours does, (very sensitive- she did not mention anything about them coming down hard.) However, the loaner car they gave us was also a 2025 Nissan Rouge and we have NOT had that issue with it. The hatch opens and closes without issue. The computer has not malfunctioned or completely went blank. It has not been hard to start, nor has the computer malfunctioned-shutting the radio off or changing the temperature information. It was recommended that maybe to "shut off" the lift gate and raise it by hand. However, we find it a little "rich" of the dealership to even "go there" as the car is 10 months old! I have a complaint that needs to be addressed. On Sept. 11 2025 I had a fire in the cab of my 2016 Ram 3500 truck while it was sitting in my drive way. It was not even running. The fire was not very big and it could have been repaired. So I called FCA and opened a case with them. They informed me that I needed to bring my truck into the closest dealership so that it could be inspected. So I then c

So they took it off the trailer. They informed me that a woman went to the truck, opened the door and stated “ well that’s a gonna be a total loss,” closed the door and had told them to move it to the fence line. She then stated that there was nothing that y’all could do for us and that it would cost me $350.00 to be diagnosed. At this time she already knew that I had an open case with FCA and that I was told to take it in. Upon walking to the truck when my husband opened the door and it had caught fire again. So he went and told some employees in the service dept and they ran out to the truck and disconnected the batteries. Then we were told that we needed to take it off the lot if we weren’t going to pay. So they reconnected the batteries and we put the truck back on the trailer and brought it home. The next day my truck was completely engulfed in flames along with my husbands welder which is used for our business. I called FCA back on Monday and spoke with my case manager/inspector and let them know about the two fires after the first and he stated he would be going to inspect the following day. He then asked if the truck was at the dealership and if the batteries had been disconnected by your employees. Also, this car (and all 2025 Explorer models ) injects Fake Engine Noise into the audio speakers to make the 2.5L engine sound more powerful. These fake "bass tones" are disturbing to some passengers with hearing aides, and per Ford's website there is no way to disable the fake noise. Thus, some people with a hearing disability cannot ride in my car without removing their hearing aides. It should be unacceptable to not be able to disable that feature. Suddenly the car lunges forward, revs up and takes off over the curb, over 3 bushes and down a sloped hill into the highway. I could not stop the vehicle! My hands were on the steering wheel and my foot on the brake as I was bracing for impact with another vehicle. Thankfully there were no cars in the lane! As I entered the right lane a car passed by me. The engine then revved down, and I was able to gain control of the car and pull into the parking lot. I have met with the managers at the dealership. They still cannot find what's wrong with my car as the computer doesn't show anything. They have run a test on the loaner car as well and said they could not find any issues with it either. They are calling in an engineer to inspect the loaner car. I or someone else could have been badly injured or killed! I feel the MDX A-Spec I was driving is a deadly vehicle, and I do not want this to happen to anyone else!! This is directly the issue cited from Nissan as recall with no current solution - which is unacceptable. We are not interested in waiting until the car malfunctions worse and in a dangerous way in order to get this recall addressed.

My Nissan Altima's power door locks failed making entry and egress sometimes impossible. While the key will unlock the driver's door, rear seat passengers have been unable to exit the vehicle without assistance due to the door being locked. The van has a cross wind assist mode. When it activates it aggressively activates only one front wheel brake so dramatically that the van dives down and swerves out of the lane into the adjacent lane. Since November 2024 to date the transmission has reduced power when trying to accelerate thus being unsafe when trying to pull out into traffic. It also will not engage reverse thus again impeding when in traffic. It appears randomly. Verified software has been updated. Hello. There is a Crosswind Assist feature on the van that is downright dangerous. When it engages it breaks and corrects the vehicle in a way that will result in an actual crash, worse than what the feature is intended to do. This could be a great feature if it didn’t cause more harm than good. It overcorrects. Almost caused me to hit another vehicle and run off the road.

I am extremely concerned that this may have been a malfunction with the Nissan Rogue as this occurred less then 24 hours after it was serviced. My car was totaled and the damage looks like it hit at 30 mph or more which is extremely alarming as I was slowing coming into the parking spot. I don't know exactly what happened however if there have been any issues with Nissans and sudden acceleration, I feel this needs to be investigated. My Rogue is a 2022 and had to have the engine replaced in early 2024. Nissan could not give any explanation as to why. My car has been taken to a salvage yard and I am concerned that if there was and issue, any evidence of an issued could be destroyed. Vehicle received a UConnect update on 10/10/25. The next morning the vehicle was only able to drive 2-3 blocks before the engine lost power, check engine light turned on, and the board directed me to shift the car into park and start the car. I was able to restart the car and it did the exact same thing within 200-300 feet. I was able to get the car to the dealership so they can look into how to
... resolve. There are a lot of postings online with others experiencing the same thing (some losing power when they were driving down the highway). All appear to be related to the UConnect update. Don’t feel safe driving the car not knowing when it will lose power again.Read more

The carpet on the wheel wells is not functional. We live out on a ranch on a dirt road and when it rains the mud gets stuck on the carpet and weighs is down. This can cause more damage to the vehicle. We took it in to a dealership and they said there was nothing they could do until the carpet gets ripped off. I was driving on the freeway when the vehicle randomly shut off and jolted me and my passengers. After turning the car off then back on the vehicle would drive fonafew miles and then repeat jolt and shut off. This seems to be linked to a software update that I did last night.

On October 10, 2025 at 8:15am my entire moonroof shattered spraying glass over myself, son and dog. ... f. I bought this car October 8, 2025 so had it for 2 days maxiumum. Pulling into service bay several people crawled up to take pictures. He said a rock probably hit it but as I insisted there was NO traffic ahead or beside me. This had nothing to do with environment or any impact. The roof literally spontaneously exploded. I want to report this for others safety and to have it on record for history. As of this point I do not know what they plan to do. I have also contacted my insurance to let them know of this incident but I do not want a claim through them. Check engine light came on, displaying code P0101, front collision malfunction came on. Replaced MAF sensor for code P0101. The car then displayed the same lights, check engine light and AEB light and slip indicator light. My car then stalled while at a red light.

The AC system releases refrigerant into the cabin due to Volvo improperly engineering the climate control and allowing the evaporator core to freeze and crack. They acknowledge the issue and have released a resister cable to prevent the evaporator core from cracking. ... ly at a dealer, where they have quoted over $3,800 to repair the issue. A quick search shows a large and quickly growing number of people complaining about this. The leaks in some cases are so bad that you can smell the refrigerant when you open the car door, as was the case with ours. This is a huge environmental and health safety issue. I have reached out to Volvo, and they refuse to assist with the repair, despite acknowledging that it is an engineering error. I don't feel safe having my kids be exposed to that level of refrigerant gas, and we don't know what to do with the car.Read more

My 2019 Nissan Rogue Sport is affected by recall 23V-093, related to the jackknife key potentially collapsing while driving and shutting off the vehicle. The only remedy currently offered is a spacer inserted into the key fob to permanently prevent the blade from folding. This disables the folding feature — a core function of the product — and turns a jackknife key into a permanently extended
... blade. I consider this an unacceptable fix. It does not restore the key’s intended design or function. No alternate solution (such as a properly redesigned or replacement fob) is offered. My dealer confirmed the “repair” is only the plastic spacer. Nissan Consumer Affairs escalated my case, but the call was dropped during transfer and I could not reach a resolution. I have not experienced a shutdown incident, but I am filing this complaint because the offered recall remedy removes a core feature and does not constitute a true repair. Nissan should be required to provide a fix that both eliminates the safety risk and restores original functionality.Read more

Fuel pump went out and caused car to stall and leave me stranded on the side of the road when dash indicator showed 23 miles left to travel. I had this fixed through the dealership Drive Time sent me to mechanic shop as was still under dealership warranty.

I have replaced the water pump, the belt, the thermostats, the rotors, the brakes, the fuel pump, the evap vent valve solenoid, the spark plugs, and fuel injectors and my car is STILL throwing the codes P-0462 and P-447. I've checked the wires and they are good. My car keeps misfiring and stalling now and my fuel pump doesn't have a fuel level sensor. The float bar is brand new as well as the fuel
