I previously owned a 2011 Buick Regal and now have a 2014 Chevy Impala. Both vehicles have had a Stabilitrack warning come up. Both vehicles experienced the same issue. The car seemed to jerk, lag in speed, cannot accelerate over 40mph. The Regal was diagnosed with an electrical/wiring issue. The Impala was diagnosed with a failed Transmission Control Module. We now have a 2016 Impala and the same
... issue and warning lights have appeared. That’s 3 vehicles we’ve owned from GMC with the exact same issue. This can’t be a coincidence and should be looked into. There are hundreds, if not thousands, of more consumers on forums experiencing the exact same issue. This should be recalled! Imagine the possibilities of danger this can cause when on the interstate and can’t accelerate over 40mph.Read more

Needed to jack up the car to change the tire. There is a Jack included with the car. Upon using it in the correct spot in accordance with the owners manual, the Jack began to significantly bend while trying to raise the car to change the tire! It looked so unsafe that we abandoned the tire change. If I were on the side of the road, trying to use this, it could be deadly.

I own a 2022 Nissan Leaf (VIN [XXX] ) affected by Recall 25V-655. This recall prohibits use of Level 3 DC fast-charging due to a potential battery-fire risk, leaving the car unsuitable for long-distance use. My dealer’s service manager told me Nissan may have a fix “in spring 2026 or not.” That means no remedy is available for at least 6–12 months. I purchased this car only days before N
... issan filed the recall (signed 9/30/25, posted 10/1/25). My salesperson specifically told me that the 2019–2020 Leafs had a battery recall with no fix, but the 2022 was unaffected. The timing suggests Nissan may have known the 2022 recall was imminent but had not disclosed it to dealers or buyers. I am requesting NHTSA ensure Nissan provides a timely, safe remedy or compensates affected owners for loss of functionality and value. The dealer diagnosed the vehicle and determined that the transmission had failed. The contact was aware that the VIN was associated with NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V301000 (Power Train), but after asking the dealer about the failure, the contact had not gotten a clear answer. The contact was later advised by the dealer that the manufacturer stated that the contact had to pay for the transmission reassembly. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure and informed the contact that confirmation from the dealer that the failure was related to the recall was needed. I am filing this report regarding my 2018 Acura MDX that has experienced complete engine failure directly related to the Connecting-Rod Bearing Safety Recall (NHTSA Recall 23V-751) and Acura’s failure to perform the recall when I first reported issues. In 2024, my vehicle began showing engine trouble codes (P0159) and experienced reduced acceleration and check engine light warnings. I contacted
... Acura corporate and opened a case, explaining that the vehicle was exhibiting symptoms similar to those described in the recall, including engine hesitation and performance issues. I also took the vehicle to Acura of Chattanooga on Chapman Road, where I worked with Tara, a service advisor who acknowledged remembering my repeated attempts to get the recall addressed. Despite this, the recall repair was never performed, and I was treated rudely and dismissed each time. Over the past two years, I have made multiple documented attempts to have the recall completed. Each time, Acura failed to take action or stated that parts or authorization were unavailable. In 2025, my vehicle displayed Code P0430 (Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold, Bank 2) and ultimately suffered complete engine failure. The issues with oil circulation, catalytic converter performance, and acceleration are consistent with the rod bearing defect Acura has acknowledged as part of this recall. Recently, Acura informed me that my recall was “completed,” even though the engine is now inoperable. This is unacceptable, as the recall was meant to prevent this exact type of engine damage, and Acura had two years of opportunity to address the issue before failure occurred. The current situation has left me with a non-functioning engine, significant repair costs, and a serious safety concern that could have been prevented if Acura had honored its recall responsibilities in a timely manner. I am requesting that NHTSA investigate Acura’s handling of this recall and their pattern of delaying or denying recall repairsRead more

I lease a 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe (VIN [XXX] ). On 10/23/2025, while traveling about 50 mph, the vehicle suddenly lost propulsion and the dash displayed “Put in Park to drive.” I had to coast through traffic, stop, shift to Park, and fully restart to regain drive. Within minutes it recurred. This defect is unpredictable and dangerous. I regularly commute on the Ohio Turnpike at highway speeds
... and I cannot risk driving this vehicle because it can cut power without warning, leaving me unable to accelerate while surrounding traffic closes in. I am avoiding highway use entirely and limiting all driving due to the high risk of rear-end collision during a power loss. The vehicle is unsafe to operate until a permanent remedy exists. Background: the vehicle has previously exhibited powertrain/electrical issues (including overheating) and spent ~2.5 weeks at the dealer over the summer. Early incidents occurred under 18,000 miles. Recall context: Mopar and NHTSA show an open safety recall A7C / 25V-710 on my VIN for loss of motive power; status “remedy not yet available.” The vehicle is available for inspection by NHTSA or the manufacturer. I can provide screenshots/video of the “Put in Park to drive” message and repair records upon request. We had an incident where I took my eyes off the road to check the warning "Consider Taking a Break" light and bell came on, at that moment a large wild bird flew towards my windshield. We had another incident where my spouse took her eyes off the road to check the "Consider Taking a Break" light came on when she was approaching a cross walk with a pedestrian in it. The problem has not been duplicated by the dealer. They may assume all of us are poor drivers because they suggested changing sun glasses, keep hands at 10 & 2, don't block the camera, sit straight up in driver seat, etc. I told the dealership and Hyundai America that I was willing to have this dangerous feature an option that I could turn off or totally removed. When driving I experienced the loss of power when trying to accelerate. My Jeep began to exhibit a loud noise and vibration which sounded like a "Jack Hammer" being used. There was a smell like something was burning, there was jerking, grinding, making clunking noises and happened each time I was making a turn or trying to accelerate. This put my safety and other drivers safety at risk because i

This can cause harm to myself and others which can include death of either party. I do have fluid that leaks from under the vehicle and the burning smell comes through the car vents. The problem has been reported to a confirmed Jeep dealership, Fred Frederick with no resolution because they are still unable to obtain the parts. I contacted them as soon as I was notified of the recall which was January 23, 2025. My AWD light does come on and off but I am uncertain of the dates. My Jeep Cherokee has the 2.4L Turbo engine. Incident date: Oct 20, 2025
On October 20, 2025, at approximately 10:30 a.m., my 2025 Nissan Rogue was parked in a public parking lot for several hours. When I started the engine, I heard a sudden loud pop, and the rear windshield immediately imploded, scattering glass both inside and outside the vehicle. There were no signs of impact, vandalism, or prior damage, and no hazards in the surrounding area. The vehicle’s climat
... e control was set to “Auto” at 70°F, and the rear defroster was not on. This appears to have been a spontaneous glass failure, similar to other reports from Rogue owners. The incident created a serious safety concern due to the sudden explosion of tempered glass, which could easily cause driver or passenger injury, distraction while operating the vehicle, or potential loss of visibility if it had occurred while driving. The rear hatch now lacks structural integrity and requires full replacement. My Nuna rava was part of the recent recall that happened. The company offered remedy kits to replace the seat fabrics as well as tools to clean where the harness straps tightened/loosened. We received the remedy kit in March after waiting 3 months for the kits to be available. I followed the instructions for cleaning of the car seat and installation of the new cover. My child’s safety was put a
... t risk as the straps are now able to loosen without pressing the button. We had not had strap loosening issues initially, but now are despite having followed the instructions as part of the recall which I was told would resolved the issue and prevent further concern over the strap mechanism failing. To my knowledge this is a known issue that is what caused the recall for the car seat in the first place. I have removed the car seat from use as it is no longer safe with the straps loosening. I have contacted Nuna Baby customer support.Read more

There was a sudden downshift at 50mph and a wrench icon showed up on my truck. I used on OBDII scanner and the codes p0706 and p0707 showed up. My safety was put at risk because I could have been hit in the rear and my rear tire locked up. I got the repairs done for a leadframe install. Is there any way I can get reimbursed for the repairs made, because this was once a recalled issue.

I just purchased the vehicle with the airbag alert on, as well as the seatbelt alert. It seems there’s no recall for this vehicle. Please advise that you should reconsider the limited recalls and include the 2010 Armanda with the “platinum” package.
