I purchased in 2015 (Jeep Renegade). The dealership promised a “lifetime warranty” for the duration of my ownership, but despite repeated service visits over the past 10 years for persistent electrical problems, they have refused to honor this warranty. It has come to my recent attention that the two major reasons jeep has stopped making the Renegade was due to electrical and engine issues. B
... oth issues with my car never told to me, and games are being played. Key points: I have complete documentation: purchase receipts, service records, text messages, and emails confirming the warranty and the repeated service attempts. The dealership now claims they have no record of my purchase. I was assured by a service representative that the issues were covered under warranty so I brought it there time and time again. The last time I brought it in the representative was working on it under warranty, but the representative was later terminated while still working to resolve the problem. These service manager, Keri has played games to avoid repairs and has even tried to tell me that I didnt buy my car there when I have proof I did. She said my receipts mean nothing and aren't proof. Its been a non stop headache for almost 10 years when all they had to do was be honest from the beginning. This car has had these problems on and off since 2017 and caused the dealer to have to replace the engine due to this parasitic draw. Each time pretending to fix it and not doing so. These issues have caused significant inconvenience, expenses, and emotional stress over a decade. I would like to explore: Enforcing the lifetime warranty and having the electrical issues properly fixed free of charge Pursuing remedies under Tennessee’s consumer protection laws for unfair or deceptive trade practices. Discussing compensation for damages resulting from the dealership’s repeated failures to repair the vehicle. I am fully prepared to provide all documentation, a detailed timeline of eventsRead more

When shifting my vehicle into Park, the message “Shift to Park” appears even though the gear lever is already in the Park position. The vehicle does not always recognize that it is in Park, which prevents it from fully shutting off and poses a potential rollaway or battery drain risk. Often the radio/bluetooth components remain on. This issue creates a safety concern when parking, especially o

The problem was confirmed by Montgomery Chevrolet on October 28, 2024, after I paid $175 for a diagnostic that is not covered under warranty. The vehicle and component are available for inspection upon request with videos and photos of the "shift to park" error log. The vehicle intermittently loses power and displayed “Engine Malfunction/ Service Now” warnings beginning several months ago. Diagnostic code U0652 (Lost Communication with EGR System) was recorded. ... ew with Nissan’s regional case manager, engine contamination was noted as a factor, yet this information was never disclosed to me by the dealership. The EGR valve, cooler, and sensors share coolant and exhaust pathways with the engine, meaning contamination within those circuits can block sensors and cause drivability loss or limp-mode events — exactly what occurred. Despite these findings, Nissan classified the issue as “unrelated” to Recall R25A8, which involves internal bearing debris and coolant contamination capable of circulating through those same systems. Nissan offered to cover only 50% of repair costs and refused to provide their decision in writing. Nissan’s recall inspection procedure requires removal of the oil pan and inspection for debris, which was never performed. I was provided an oil sample after diagnosis - proof that the pan was not dropped. This raises concerns that Nissan failed to follow the prescribed recall diagnostic process. Additionally, I have been forced to personally pay hundreds of dollars for a rental vehicle because Nissan stated rental reimbursement would not be provided until the repair is completed, despite the vehicle being undrivable due to the recall-related defect. I do not feel comfortable proceeding with the repair or continuing to drive the vehicle in its current condition, as the underlying recall issue has not been properly addressed or resolved. This defect poses a serious safety risk due to potential engine failure, sudden power loss, and internal coolant contamination that could lead to further mechanical damage or fire.Read more

I am writing to your Company regarding the unavailability of the ABS Control Module for 2017 Ram 1500 trucks. My truck, like those of numerous other Ram owners, has a malfunctioning ABS Control Module. Because of this malfunction, the ABS and cruise control do not work. In turn, this places me and other owners of this vehicle in an unsafe situation, in that the lack of an operating ABS system is
... conducive to skidding and accidents. Some owners have even reported that they cannot drive their vehicles due to locked brakes resulting from this malfunction. I have tried every source in existence in my efforts to find a replacement module, but I have been totally unsuccessful. I have been told by one of your Customer Service representatives that your Company is “…unable to maintain a complete inventory for an indefinite period and the lower the demand, the less likely it is we will have stocked parts. As such, the part you are requesting is no longer in our inventory.” I am aware of a current class action suit against your company for the RAM 2500 & 3500 for the same issue. I guess the owners’ lives of the Ram 1500 are not as important. Wilson, et al. v. FCA US LLC Case No. 4:22-cv-0044 This is absolutely appalling. Apparently, several thousand Ram owners who paid tens of thousands of dollars for their trucks are not important enough to your Company to warrant providing the necessary support for their products. When traveling around 35-40 mph and a bump or dip in the road (think manhole cover) is hit by either the left or right wheel an extreme wobble and vibration in the steering column occurs. ... in crash. This is an unmodified jeep gladiator bought new at the dealership with all mopar parts. When speaking to the dealership they do not acknowledge that this is an known problem and state that they cannot reproduce the issue. Which is reproducible as I have done it. ... d Nissan Consumer Affairs and local dealerships several times, but they confirmed that there is no repair or parts available. Due to this unresolved safety recall, my state’s DMV has refused to register my vehicle, meaning I cannot legally operate it. This delay has caused significant hardship and prevents me from using my vehicle, even though the recall involves a critical safety risk (potential engine failure while driving). I am requesting that NHTSA investigate this issue and require Nissan to expedite a remedy for recall R25B1. I need a car urgently to drive to work.
