My vehicle began jumping when switching from drive to reverse. When I placed the car into reverse, it stalled and would not switch into reverse or neutral. The car stalled in the middle of a parking lot. The check engine light did not come on initially, and when it did, it did not remain on for very long. The car prompted a Shift Solenois B Stuck On error (P0757:00-E8), as well as an inability to
... engage neutral error (P073D:00-6C) and transmission friction element error (P2701:00-6C). The valve body has been replaced, but the transmission is still promoting the same errors.Read more

My engine kept having a rough performance in idle and driving. It made rattling noises when accelerating. Took it to Nissan dealerships multiple times and was told it was SAFE TO DRIVE in that condition and it can be in regards to the current safety recall on this vehicle. They REFUSED to provide a loaner or state I may need to stop driving this car. There is currently no remedy available. My car
... finally gave out on 10/26/25 when THICK WHITE SMOKE came out of it as I’m driving causing me to lose power on an expressway that maintains speeds up to 60 MPH or more. I could’ve have been ran into from behind . I had it towed to the dealership they submitted info to the warranty department. And they DENIED it stating it had nothing to do with recall. When it fact it does because the inter cooler and turbo are a part of the engine and the recall states the defect can cause other engine components to fail. NISSAN IS A COMPLETE JOKE. No warning lights came on or anything in regards to this issue even when the engine failed.Read more

I had been having issues with my vehicle randomly stalling out when I would start it and put it into reverse. It also was hesitating during acceleration at times. On 9/2/25 I took it to a Nissan dealership for these issues and was told they couldn’t find anything wrong. I specifically asked if it could be related to the recall I had just received notice about in the mail and was told ‘probably
... not’. The issues persisted off and on the next few weeks and I was about to call them to let them know things were still not working right and some things had gotten worst (like almost stalling out in the middle of the day at a light). On 10/21/25 (6 weeks after the dealership said there was nothing wrong with my car) I started having major problems driving home and the heat would not work. I barely got it home and by then it was running very rough. Husband looked and said there was almost no antifreeze and added some. He said I couldn’t drive it and we had to tow it in the morning. Tow truck driver nearly started it on fire because he couldn’t get it into service mode and it started smoking terribly for the 30 seconds it was on. Nissan Dealership (different one) said there were five 2022 Nissan Roque’s with the same problem ahead of me. After almost a week they called to tell me Nissan is replacing the ‘engine long block and turbo’. I’ve had to rent a car at $400/week and have no idea how long this is going to take. Thankful I wasn’t driving when things got really bad. Also - NO service lights have ever come on indicating anything was wrong at any point.Read more

My Honda Accord is now difficult to drive due to tendency of steering wheel to cycle to the right at sporadic or random intervals. On more than three occasions, simply starting the car resulted in the steering wheel spinning to the right more than one full turn on it's own without my touching the steering wheel. The uncontrolled steering is more prevalent at lower speeds under 25 or 30 MPH and i
... s even more challenging in close parking situations. Although I have driven the car without this problem for approximately 8 years, with the sudden onset of issues last month, the Honda dealer claims this recall is not covered on my VIN number due to the car being repossessed from the former owner who inflicted significant interior damage which totaled the car. By the time I purchased the car the interior was in pristine and newly repaired condition with a salvage title. To my knowledge and experience the car has never been involved in any wreck. Dealer would like approx. $4600 from me to make the repairs to the electronic steering gearbox which would normally be covered under the current recall (which expires next year for my 2013).Read more

Heard noise coming from cylinder 4, removed valve cover, removed rocker arms, and found 1 pushrod damaged. They removed and replaced all lifters and 3 pushrods. The vehicle exhibits a persistent valvetrain ticking noise associated with the rocker/lifter/cam components of the 3.6L Pentastar V6. The engine makes a rhythmic metallic tapping at idle and during acceleration. The noise has progressively worsened, leading to rough idle and occasional misfires. This issue is documented in multiple Stellantis technical service bulletins (e.g., TSB 09-015-24 and TS
... B 09-011-25) which attribute the noise to hydraulic lash adjuster and cam/rocker wear. If unaddressed, the failure can cause camshaft damage, metal debris contamination, loss of power and potential engine stall, posing a safety risk. The vehicle is available for inspection. The problem has been confirmed by independent mechanics who recommend replacement of the rocker arms, lifters and camshaft to prevent catastrophic engine failure.Read more

The dealership says after my warranty is over, I have to pay out of pocket, but I don't see why, when it's been an ongoing issue and VW needs to have an extended warranty, because I know I am not the only one with issues. Reddit has thousands of complaints about VW, but it's our problem that they couldn't produce a reliable car. The dealership has been aware of this for 4 years since I bought my car in June 2021. I have had the engine light come on every 3 -5 months since June 2021, and it's always the same when they replace a whole part. Subject: Electrical System Failure and Safety Hazard – 2025 Mercedes-Benz E350 Dear Sirs, I am writing to formally report a serious safety concern and design flaw involving my 2025 Mercedes-Benz E350, which recently suffered a complete dashboard and display failure. According to the service technician, liquid that entered from the cup-holder area reached wiring and computer modules located di
... rectly underneath, causing a total system short. I was informed that this damage was not covered under warranty because it was attributed to “liquid exposure.” However, I never noticed any liquid spill or misuse of the vehicle. When the dashboard failed, the following critical systems were lost: Speedometer and vehicle speed display Warning lights (airbag, ABS, check engine, etc.) Fuel gauge and temperature indicators Navigation and climate control screens This left me driving without any visible speed, warning, or system status, which constitutes a clear safety hazard both to myself and other motorists. The wiring harnesses and control modules located directly under the cup holders are unprotected from moisture or condensation, even from normal use. This placement exposes sensitive electronics to a predictable and foreseeable hazard — a beverage container or minor condensation. A luxury vehicle of this level should not experience catastrophic electrical failure from normal interior use. The design effectively ensures that even the smallest moisture exposure can lead to multi-thousand-dollar damage and loss of all essential vehicle functions. This appears to be a defect in design and safety engineering, not user negligence. The repair estimate for this issue was approximately $3,000–$4,000, which I was forced to process through my insurance. Given that this design could affect other vehicles of the same model.I did write t9 mercedes however nonrefundable. I felt I would forward to tiu as it is a safet issue.A redesign if where Electrical box is is a simple fix.Read more

I could smell the acrid smell, however, I could not see the source of the smell. Then, I started seeing a very light gray or white smoke coming out of the defroster vents at the base of the windshield. The amount of smoke wasn’t overpowering however, I was concerned if the vehicle was going to catch fire. I opened the driver‘s window in an effort to let the smoke get out of the vehicle. The smoke and the acrid smell lasted perhaps 20 seconds or so; I can’t say for sure. I drove perhaps another five minutes on the highway to my exit and happened to be near my former Porsche dealer. I brought the vehicle to a halt in their parking lot away from other vehicles. I opened up the front trunk and looked for any issues and attempted to find any hot areas in that front trunk. I could not locate anything unusual. I then drove another 10 minutes to get home and parked the Porsche on my driveway. I didn’t experience any further issues this evening. While searching online for individuals experiencing a similar issue, it appears that the issue results from a defective passenger compartment electric heater (ZX17), detailed here: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2025/MC-11017831-0001.pdf I will continue to monitor this in the next few days.Read more
