In early September 2025, I leased a 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona EV. Unfortunately, the vehicle has already been in the dealership service department three separate times since I took delivery. The first two service visits occurred after the vehicle completely bricked and would not turn on. Earlier this week, the vehicle began shaking and intermittently accelerating and decelerating on its own while in operation(I have video proof of this) This behavior poses a serious danger to me and to others on the road. Due to these ongoing issues, I filed a formal complaint with Stellantis and was assigned case number [XXX]. I have been working with Stellantis representative Steve Stander; however, communication has been extremely difficult. Unfortunately, Mr. Stander has not been responsive to phone calls or emails in a timely manner, which has made resolving this matter challenging. At this time, the vehicle is once again in the shop, leaving me without transportation. During our last discussion, Mr. Stander acknowledged that Stellantis understands the vehicle is not dependable and offered $10,000 in down payment assistance along with employee pricing on a new Stellantis product. However, I currently still owe approximately $3,400 on the lease. Given the serious safety issues and repeated failures of the vehicle, I am requesting Stellantis’ assistance in grounding the lease and covering the remaining $3,400 balance so that I may exit this lease. I also previously sent Mr. Stander a video clearly showing the vehicle accelerating on its own to document the issue. I would greatly appreciate your help in resolving this matter as quickly as possible. It is urgent that I be able to safely exit this vehicle situation. humming from the hydroboost pump, actual issue is the high pressure steering line has a nylon tube inside the hose that breaks apart and moves throughout the system. Dodge had one revision of the hose on the early model years but this issue has gone unresolved. I am afraid if i cant get it fixed it may possibly cause the brakes or steering assistance to fail.

At this point my car is jerking across the intersection where I had to put on my hazards and barely made it home. It’s weird this all happened within a day and so sudden. I got notification about the recalls and was thinking this is all related. Monday morning 3/3 I get the car towed to Nissan on rt 37, where the told me I needed a engine but not due from the recall. the recall was for oil temp and the car has a coolant leak that leaked on the engine and I would have to pay out of pocket. I asked for the report they haven’t sent anything over yet. I bought that car from carvana last march on the 17th, so it hasn’t been a year and they told me i’m out of my warranty’s at 71 thousand miles. I feel so defeated as i’m paying 500 a month for this is car and haven’t had it for a year. I’m reaching out to file a complaint or to see if there’s anything I can do on my end. with the coolant leak, I’ve never had any issues with the car prior as it drove regularly and never saw any residue on the ground. Very unusual and excessive rear brake pads and rotor decay, I was asked by dealership to replace brake pads and rotor just at 22000 miles, and then after replacing again they are asking to replace just after another 19000 miles. And the automatic brake sometimes gets scary, get too close to the front vehicle without reducing speed while driving in cruise control mode.

I have had three Popped tires in under a year , granted they were from potholes, but I have been complaining about the tires. I have said repeatedly they don’t feel right there is something wrong with them and they’re not even safe for the road because if you hit anything, it immediately pops out the side wall. They are clearly too thin, and not safe for driving even locally. There is a class action lawsuit against Nissan for spontaneous moonroof explosions and there are tons of people talking about online the inadequacies of the Bridgestone tires on the 2024 Nissan Altima.Read more
