Van became sluggish when coming to the busy intersection. When I tried to accelerate when light changed, engine light came on and van would not go over 5mph. I was almost hit. Codes were run by a mechanic. Four internal transmission codes are present. Was told that the Quest has a transmission known for these problems. We could've been killed from the vehicle not moving with traffic.

Passenger seat occupant sensor co troller and drivers side rear airbag failed and need to be replaced. Airbag light remained on and faults diagnosed by Nissan service. Failed sensors mean airbag likely May not deploy in the event of impact. Found article that there was a recall on this for this vehicle in 2016 but this sites say no recall. This is over $6000 in repairs for product failure

When setting remote control and the vehicle needs to speed up there are times when the vehicle will lunge forward. When in lower gears there are times when the vehicle is like trying to find a gear.
