During highway driving speeds vehicle will suddenly lose power and slow down. Pressing accelerator pedal increases RPM but not the speed. With cruise control engaged vehicle will suddenly and abruptly slow down with RPMs climbing to 4000. I fear that I will be hit from behind because of suddenly slowing down. Also unable to pass vehicles due to loss of power.

CVT Transmissions on these versa’s are extremely wonky and very jerky. The transmission causes extremely slow acceleration, Nissan has had a really bad track record with their CVT transmissions and it appears to be the same issue with this vehicle as well.

They replaced speed sensor as well as cv axle as well as a hub and bearing and it still is not driving right and has almost caused me accidents with my children in the car to where I pulled over and cried I was scared to continue driving. They cannot figure out the problem.
