... occured at 3:50 p.m. on a weekday, and the safety of myself and the drivers around me was at risk, when the tire blew out and it was difficult to control my car on the intersstate. 3. The car was towed to a AAA service center, and I have photos of the tire that blew out, as well as the driver's-side rear tire that is also deformed. 4. No, but I emailed Toyo with a report that I thought there might be an issue on Nov. 9, 2023. I was towed to a AAA service center. I have photos and the reciept from having to replace both rear tires, and get a re-alignment. 5. Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? No. This was a sudden blow-out on the interstate while traveling. I looked down to make sure my foot was on the brake which it was. I then used both feet to push down on the brake but that did not work either. The vehicle did not stop until it ran into a building. If somebody would have been behind me they would have died or been seriously injured. If the building would not have been there, I might have died or been seriously injured due to the vehicle accelerating at a high speed on its own and the brakes failing to stop the vehicle. I went through a recent DDoS attack by a neighbor where they used signal boosting to spoof my key fob. From there, they were able to access the Intelligent Drive System, GPS and audio. On June 25th, the same criminals tracked me down through the GPS outside of Marshall TX and attmpted to hijack the vehicle. I had to call 911 and run for safety, it was terrifying. I took it to a Nissan Dealer to show them the mass amount of Malware that was installed, but was told I could just buy another car instead. To make matters worse, at one point in time, this group that hacked the vehicle, was able to alter my speed remotely. It is impossible to have anyone at Nissan take me seriously on this matter, yet you can see online that this is a known concern for this model specifically. I believe it is pertinent that Nissan review boot loader settings on these vehicles for a known fatal flaw that leaves the user vulnerable to these types of attacks, this could have caused me to crash several times and is downright scary that anyone with a little background could penetrate these systems so easily.Read more

Began slowing to turn into a gas station just ahead when the clunking became so violent the front of the vehicle was bouncing. As I turned into the gas station, there was a loud bang, smoke billowed from the hood, and the engine stalled leaving me with no power steering. I turne

Smoke and oil continued running from the front of my truck for several minutes. I feel fortunate to have walked away from such a violent breakdown. The screen freezes or just stops working, the HVAC system blows out 2 totally different temps even though it's "Synced" on the same temp. My blind spot warning is malfunctioning, the rear camera has stopped working and the rear tailgate fills with water, I was told I would need a whole new tailgate to fix that, I suppo

The car has slammed on the brakes on the highway for no reason causing a burn on my neck, supposedly that recall was performed but I dont think it was. I have also caught Gandrud Nissan in an act of fraud once already regarding my vehicle being there for an entire week and them trying to say it was never there, and I believe they never performed these recalls or fixes, otherwise my seatbelts should work and my cameras would be working. This vehicle has given me nothing but issues since I bought it. I have video and paperwork to back this all up. When I asked to speak with the owner of Gandrud Nissan who has done all the work on my vehicle while under warranty, he refuses to call me back. I would like an investigation done to see if these parts have been replaced and the recall work was actually performed, I do not want Nissan notified until after another party has checked to see if the work was done.Read more

... out this has been common in Nissan vehicles for a long time and law suits because of it, too. These sunroofs allegedly exploded because of their design. Instead of laminating the glass in the sunroofs, the lawsuits claimed, Nissan used thin pieces of tempered glass instead of thicker pieces. The reason why Nissan allegedly did this, according to the suits, is so that the sunroof could be lighter and, thus, the vehicle could get better fuel economy. The lawsuits also alleged the Japanese automaker applied ceramic enamel around the edges of the sunroofs, weakening the strength of the glass. I also sent an email to Nissan but doubt if I will hear from them. While driving home from work, the vehicle's transmission stopped working, resulting in coasting out of traffic and requiring a tow home at night. My safety and the safety of others were at risk. The next morning, the vehicle was towed to the mechanic shop, which confirmed the transmission failed and needs a complete replacement. There was not any warning lights or clear symptoms. ... re were some slight performance warnings that began about 2 miles prior to failure. The vehicle had a slight hesitation (like driving a car that wasn't warmed up prior to the 1990s or using cheap gas) but it was so slight and not alarming or cause for concern. The following day I was scheduled to drive to San Fransisco, had the failure occurred on I-80, it would have been a dangerous situation. Another safety issue is the radio screen that doesn't work when the outside temperature is hot, it flashes so bright, and it is so distracting that I put a postcard in front of it to dim the strobe effect. The dealership said I need to replace the computer but it was safe to drive. This vehicle has been well maintained and has approx 121k miles. The link to the repair estimate from the mechanic stopped working after I declined the $9000 cost. So I cannot provide that. Courtesy Nissan's Diagnostic test revealed that the transmission would need to be replaced, which while I did purchase a used car warranty from Suncoast, the car has been out of commission since roughly a week after receiving delivery from Suncoast. When I contacted [XXX] (Owner) by email on 4-separate occasions, from 2-separate email addresses, and text, he states he never received them. Given the owner's approach, and refusing to own up to his lies, or take any kind of responsibility here, I would like a full refund, as I would have never purchased the car, if I knew it had a major safety issue and would have to have the transmission replaced immediately after delivery, and I most certainly wouldn't have paid the price of a car that NADA stated was in "Good Condition", as the cost of the transmission is actually 65% of the price I paid for the car. With the transmission needing to be replaced, the same measuring tool (NADA) that Suncoast used to sell me the car, actually states the car is worth thousands-less. Driving through an intersection that was empty. One car was 1,000 feet away in the other lane. The ABS warning and triangle displayed on dashboard. Simultaneously the brakes engaged coming close to a full stop. No car near by. Then the brakes disengaged and we were able to drive with no further issues.

Now I am afraid to drive the car the dealership told me to Call Nissan hot line and tell them what happened Nissan said they had something else to fix and my car would be fine, well now I'm afraid to drive the car and Nissan said they didn't have to do anything else to help me. Car will accelerate on its own when turn on. Sometimes car will accelerate when put on Reverse on its own….. RPMs will be at 7 and 8 when going 45MPH. I notice this has been an issue for Nissan Sentras
