I have a 2024 Chevy Colorado Trail Boss that needs an Upper Radiator Coolant Hose. But apparently this is on nationwide backorder because although there is not a recall GM put a bulletin out they are aware of the issue that appears to be a degraded seal inside hose fitting so the whole hose needs replacing. I live in [XXX] and it is not available here and I have called OH, [XXX] , [XXX] and othe
... r state dealerships and Noone will sell that part because of the backorder. My truck has 40k miles. And every dealer I called this is a huge issue with these trucks. So it is not a wear issue when it is on nationwide backorder and it'll take 1-2 weeks +/- to get. My warranty won't cover as they say it is a wear part and no recall. So how can there be no recall on a nationwide issue with these trucks. My truck cant be driven right now due to check engine light, low coolant, leaking hose, fan blowing high, no heat and this is all related to this backordered part. Someone told me to report this issue so that is what I am doing now. Again this should be an active recall. The wiring for the air bag system under the driver's seat is exposed and unprotected which has led to disconnection and or damage to the wiring harness which then results in a disabled air bag system. ... repairs that Hyundai had refused to cover under warranty despite the fact that it is an obvious design flaw and a serious safety issue. I own a 2008 Chevrolet Malibu LTZ (VIN [XXX] ) with an electric power steering (EPS) issue that matches GM’s known EPS defect and recall 14V‑153 / bulletin 15356 for 2007–2012 Malibus. During that time, dashboard and engine lights came on. 3 days later I received a phone call from the dealership stating I need a new EGR sensor which should have been done the first time but was not (by a less experienced mechanic), for free, and the part would be in tomorrow 3/12/26. He also stated that now the car is running extremely rough and knocking (which I told him has not been our experience at all and I did not know what he was talking about). He then went on to say it needs motor mounts now. That was 2 weeks ago. Since then I have called multiple times to get status updates on my car and no one will return my call. My car has now been there for 40 days as of today. I have been given a 120,000 mile warranty extension on my engine per Nissan, but Nissan refuses to fix it and my car is not listed as part of the new recall, which I do not understand at all. This vehicle is subject to Safety Recall 24V-700 (Manufacturer Recall R24B2) due to a defect in the lithium-ion battery that can cause a fire during Level 3 DC Fast Charging. Since the initial notice, I have received four separate recall communications from the manufacturer, yet as of March 2026, no permanent remedy has been provided. The manufacturer’s only "interim" solution is an instruction
... to refrain from using the Level 3 DC Fast Charging (CHAdeMO) feature. This has effectively disabled a primary advertised function of the vehicle and creates a substantial safety risk should the port be used. This defect has rendered the vehicle unsellable on the secondary market and significantly impairs its daily utility, as I am unable to use charging infrastructure at my place of employment. The manufacturer continues to delay the final remedy with "coming soon" notifications, leaving me with an unsafe and substantially devalued asset for over a year.Read more

I am submitting this complaint to report what I believe to be a serious and systemic safety defect involving GM 6.2L engines equipped with fuel efficiency systems such as Active Fuel Management (AFM) or Dynamic Fuel Management (DFM). I have experienced catastrophic engine failure in two separate GMC Yukon Denali vehicles with nearly identical symptoms, which strongly suggests a broader design def
... ect rather than isolated mechanical issues. My first vehicle, a 2015 GMC Yukon Denali XL, developed significant engine performance problems consistent with known lifter and camshaft failures widely reported in GM vehicles using these fuel efficiency systems. Due to ongoing reliability concerns and the financial burden of potential repair, I was forced to trade this vehicle at a loss. My second vehicle, a 2016 GMC Yukon Denali XL equipped with the same engine platform, suffered sudden and catastrophic engine failure in February 2026. This failure occurred abruptly and without meaningful prior warning, rendering the vehicle inoperable and creating a potentially hazardous situation. Sudden engine failure of this nature presents a significant safety risk, particularly if it occurs at highway speeds or in heavy traffic. An oil service had been performed on this vehicle in December 2025 at a Jiffy Lube franchise. After the failure, an independent service provider documented that the oil fill cap had been left loose. However, the Jiffy Lube franchise and its insurance carrier have denied responsibility, asserting that the engine failure is attributable to known defects and reliability issues associated with GM’s fuel efficiency engine systems. As a result, both the manufacturer and the service provider are denying responsibility for a catastrophic mechanical failure that has serious safety implications. This leaves consumers exposed to sudden engine failure risk with no meaningful recourse. Based on my direct experience with two separate vehicles exhibiting similar catastrophRead more

I was driving at night when I got a headlight system error message on my instrument panel and I noticed my driver side headlight was not on. A few seconds later the light came back on and a minute or so later it went off again and came back on and I got the error message again. It came back on and has worked pretty much since but I have seen it flickering at night on a few occasions. The next da
... y when it was light out I looked at both headlights and noticed a lot I mean a lot of condensation inside the headlight assembly. I know some fogging and some light condensation is normal on these LED lights but the amount inside the driver side headlight is not normal. And I was lucky enough to have the error and light go off and on in a fairly well lit area so thankfully I was not in an accident or driving on road that’s not well lit. There’s clearly a defect in the sealing of the headlight that’s allowing that much water in. And not having a headlight working because of an error caused by water that can disable my visibility especially on the driver side to due to the headlight not being sealed properly. There is not physical damage like a crack or anything in the housing of the headlight. And since the whole headlight needs to be replaced since it’s LED that’s $2200 before labor. And there didn’t appear to be anything wrong with the headlight no condensation when I looked at it on the car lot when I bought it on 3-4-26. I tried to have my Nissan dealer repair/replace it using the Endurance Apex Unlimited warranty I bought when I purchased the car but they won’t cover it due to a faulty seal. I’ve seen a couple post about the same side headlight on others 2019 Maxima’s with the same issue so this doesn’t appear to be a one off. And I would think headlights going out from moisture and condensation causing errors to the electric contacts controlling the headlights would be a serious safety issue that could potentially cause bodily harm or even death from an accident.Read more

My 2020 Lincoln Aviator Grand Touring Plug‑In Hybrid has experienced multiple high‑voltage powertrain failures that create an immediate safety hazard. During the first failure, the vehicle stopped in active traffic and would
... not restart; a police officer stopped to assist and called a tow truck because the disabled vehicle posed a roadway hazard. In addition, the digital instrument cluster has repeatedly gone completely black while the vehicle is in motion, eliminating all visibility of speed, gear position, warning indicators, and hybrid system status. During the most recent blackout, an [XXX] child was in the vehicle with me, significantly increasing the danger. These failures are accompanied by hybrid‑system fault code P0A1E (Starter/Generator Control Module), a pink charging‑port indicator signaling a charging fault, and irregular hybrid‑battery behavior (range not updating, battery not depleting). The vehicle has been inspected four times by authorized Lincoln/Ford dealers and has been out of service more than 34 cumulative days. Although the P0A1E code and symptoms were documented, the dealers repeatedly stated they were “unable to verify” the concern and returned the vehicle unrepaired. Required high‑voltage diagnostics were not completed. The problem is ongoing, intermittent, and has not been corrected. Sudden propulsion loss, dashboard blackout, and high‑voltage control failures put occupants and other motorists at significant risk.
