I purchased certified July of 2023 . My 2022 Sarah 4xe Jeep has been in the dealership 4 times for the so called death rattle on the freeway at highway speeds of 70-73 mph . When hitting bump it will wobble horribly to the point I have to slam the breaks on to get it to stop . The dealer the last time put on an aftermarket fox damper which helped quite a bit but it still will do it briefly . From
... what I’ve researched it is only a band aid to whatever the problem is . It’s to me,very dangerous especially when you’re next to a vehicle on the highway . I don’t feel the problem is completely fixed and the dealer said they have done all they can do. I cannot give specific days off hand but will look up moving forward because it’s been at the dealership now 4 times . Ive read that many customers are having this issue . If you need a video I can send one .Read more

* Defective airbag light on. * Expensive inspection to know what's wrong with the airbag. * Don’t know if in case of an accident the airbag is going to work or protect my life. * This seems to be a common issue in this type of cars and it seems unfair to pay for something like that to be repair when it seems like a manufacturer defect.

American Honda Motor Co., Inc. issued a recall for our 2010 CRV. The recall identified a flaw in the design whereby "corrosion can form in the rear frame due to the accumulation of road de-icing agents mixed with mud and water. As a result, the rear frame can deteriorate, and the rear trailing arm may fall off. A detached rear trailing arm can cause a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk o
... f a crash or injury." (NHSTA Recall Number 23V-228) After the work was performed, we were told by a representative of the dealership’s service department that the vehicle would not pass state motor vehicle safety inspection because of the work they had performed. Over the course of August, 2023 I made more than 20 attempts (15 by email and many more by phone) to reach Honda representatives to ask them to fully repair the car so that it could pass inspection, or to repurchase the vehicle per the terms of the recall notice. Honda declined, stating that "if the brace had not been installed, we would be having a different conversation" (telephone conversation with a supervisor at Honda, August 31, 2023). The work that Honda did to address this safety recall was insufficient because, although the service team at the dealership was able to install a brace on the vehicle's rear frame, the vehicle will not pass state motor vehicle inspection, according to both Honda's dealership mechanic and an assessment by an independent certified mechanic who is familiar with this vehicle. Honda’s original design of certain parts of the frame is responsible for the excessive corrosion of the rear frame which is rendering the vehicle unsafe to drive. Since American Honda Motor Co. was not able to repair the vehicle to a safe operating condition that will continue to pass state inspection, and since the vehicle is otherwise in proper, safe, working condition, the company should have offered to repurchase the vehicle. The recall "fix" is insufficient to ensure driver safety.Read more

Long story short, after bringing my car in AGAIN for this issue, I was told by the mechanic that though they can replace the flex plate free of charge because it was under warranty, it damaged other components in the engine to the point where it’s inevitable that my ford will be undrivable soon. They also told me that there was a recall out for this issue so that I can be reimbursed for the previous work. So many others have experienced this. I called the Ford dealership to confirm the recall. However, they told me that it wasn’t a recall but a “Customer Service Satisfaction” program. Meaning it’s not officially a recall but enough people have experienced it that they were reimbursing some drivers. This “program” had an expiration date of 3-31-23. I had my car serviced the first time prior to this date but had no idea about this “program”. I received no notification. After my flex plate was fixed for the second time now, I submitted my receipts for reimbursement for the service I paid for the flex plate in 2022. 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 2020 was under warranty (22,000 miles)….felt a little vibration in my steering wheel and suspected a transmission problem and called the dealer’s service department. I told them what I felt and they said…yes you have a transmission problem (that Chevrolet knows about) bring it in and we will fix it. The fix was…change transmission fluid to synthetic. Now I was n
... ot comfortable with the repair but what can I do. I also know changing to the synthetic fluid can handle higher temperatures and will not breakdown as quickly. So my point is Chevrolet knows and knew about the problem and did not even think about a recall due to the expense it would cost them. Chevrolet expects me to absorb the cost of a manufacture problem. Last year was the start of my families transmission problems. It started May of 2023 with my 2014 Silverado’s transmission (175,000 miles) and ended up getting it overhauled. The truck was not abused. November my 1st grandson’s 2018 Silverado’s transmission failed, December 2nd grandson’s 2015 Serria’s transmission failed. I also recently (3 days ago) found out my friend’s 2018 Silverado went failed last year. All within a 6 month’s period. Now I have lost my 2018 Silverado transmission (mentioned above) with 88,000 miles. This is just my family…I really can’t imagine what is going on country wide. All of the above events has prompted me to look into this problem. Every transmission shop and dealer is telling me Chevrolet knows and knew about the problem…I can go on. I am very concerned and will not stop at getting resolve with GM/Chevrolet taking ownership of the transmission problem. Sure I want help...but I also want to help others with the same problem.Read more
