My rear subframe is rotted out but won't be replaced under warranty because there are no rust holes in the metal. The rust is very extensive, and the car isn't safe to drive. The rear metal brake lines are also rotten and need to be replaced. I've owned many cars older than this one with more miles, and I've never had rusted-out brake lines. This is a safety issue.

While driving, I turned the volume on the radio a couple clicks louder using the steering wheel controls. After I stopped pushing the volume button on the steering wheel, it continued to rapidly increase volume until it maxed out. It was incredibly loud, in a panic, I verified the VOL+ button was not stuck. The VOL- on the steering wheel did not reduce the volume. I spun the volume button down,

I was driving at 50mph and had no way to reduce the volume from the max, which was incredibly distracting to say the least. I was finally able to get it to stop by pulling out my phone (which was connected via CarPlay) and hitting the pause button on my phone. Afterwards it behaved as normal, but my man did my ears hurt. Luckily there wasn’t any traffic nearby as I could hardly focus on the road while fumbling with the audio.Read more

I have received "High Voltage Battery Warnings" on 3 separate occasions (5/5/24, 5/9/24, 7/14/24), each time being told to stop the vehicle as soon as possible. ... be able to stop in a safe place. Furthermore, Ford has failed twice to fix the High Voltage battery issue, and the vehicle is currently at the dealer trying to resolve the issue for a third time. The fact that Ford does not know how to resolve this repeating issue is a large safety concern for two main reasons. First, as the high voltage battery is the main power unit for the propulsion system of the car, and with Ford clearly unaware of what or how to fix the issue, the car is at risk of stopping at any time or location. Second, the dealership working with Ford to fix the car mentioned that the repairs were taking a long time because Ford indicated that the High Voltage from the battery may be discharging into other components of the vehicle, e.g. frame, door panels, etc., and so they had to proceed with extreme caution. With Ford failing to resolve the issue at least two time, there may be a risk of very high electric current coming in contact with the driver or passengers in the vehicle. The ABS and Electronic braking system has failed in this vehicle. While driving the vehicle, the ABS light will cycle on and off consistently. After contacting Fiat Chrysler Association (FCA) they informed me the parts were pulled from dealerships and they are under engineering review for replacements with no timeline available. This is a 10,000 lbs vehicle with a 16,000lb tow rating. It is unacceptable for this to continue failing on a truck that when combined with a trailer can be totaling 26,000lbs. If this system fails while towing, the result will be deadly to anyone involved. I've spoken with hundreds of others with this same failure on the same truck. It is unacceptable that we cannot drive our trucks safely, we cannot fix them because parts don't exist, and we cannot sell them because they are undriveable and unfixable.Read more

MY 2021 venue had less than 24,000 miles when this problem occurred. i am the original owner and until recently, worked from home. i started having issues when i put the key in the ignition to start my vehicle. none of the dash lights or A/C control would come on. i had to re-try two to three times to get it to work. when i took my vehicle in for regular maintenance and informed my dealership

Two weeks late we left town on a month long vacation. While traveling we stop for fuel the stairs kept sticking. Arrived at our first destination deployed the awning and it did not deploy, and the steps stop working. Plus I fell out of the door injuring myself. (I have photos of injury). They should have never sold us the unit in the first place knowing it’s on a recall list. If we would have known of the recall we would never have purchased this unit. My wife and I would like to exchange or move up to a better unit. When you buy new nothing should be wrong with it. We’ve gone almost two months without the motorhome. They prefer we take it home and wait, but no telling how long the wait would be. Camping World wants to be let off the hook for all the inconvenience and selling a motorhome with a recall. They took the car to an independent mechanic, who welded some support brackets to the subframe to get the car to move. After doing some research, I found multiple forums, websites, videos, and repair TSBs about this issue. The failure occurred because of an engineering failure of the placement of the HVAC evaporator drain hose. The hose drips the draining moisture right onto the right side of the subframe. Over time, this trapped moisture leads to corrosion and rust formation on the subframe. The corrosive effect weakens the structural integrity of the subframe, which caused the subframe to break under normal driving conditions. A mechanic has inspected and patch repaired the subframe. I am willing to have the car inspected if requested. There were no symptoms before the failure, it happened all of the sudden.
