I contacted the Apple Ford dealer near me and had my family follow me as I dropped it off. They said it would be a total of $310 for diagnostic and brake flush. I did the flush and it didn’t work. They said it would cost just shy of $3k to replace the entire hydraulic system. I took the car home because that is too much for a 2011 vehicle. I ended up having to get a new car because I need transportation for me and my two young children. My neighbor took a look at the car (he works on trucks) and the battery wouldn’t work. I bought a new battery for the car at $238.14. The lights are still on. I would like to have this car fixed or be able to trade it in. I am now being recommended to run a computer test on it to reset the codes. I would like to have this fixed as this seems to be a known issue with this car and I could have crashed if I wasn’t already driving slowly.Read more

The slamming to a stop mid drive is so harsh not only am I almost rear ended but also it’s torn my shoulder forming a cyst that I’ve had trigger point shots and physical therapy for and might need surgery yet they still refuse to buy it back. While driving my 2021 Nissan Sentra on [XXX] (a moderately busy highway), I experienced noticeable vibrations through the steering wheel, especially when accelerating and making turns. As I attempted to exit the highway, via a curved off-ramp, the steering wheel became extremely shaky and impossible to turn. I struggled to keep the car within the lane and then completely lost steering control. This caused me to veer off the road and nearly into the shoulder. I experienced such panic and fear as my [XXX] nephew was in the car seat in the back of my vehicle and was also extremely frightened. I am now extremely unsatisfied with Nissan and its lack of commitment to sell safe vehicles, I cannot legally resell this vehicle in the current condition and am left with no option but to drive an unsafe car, under the lemon law I have the right to sue. At certain times, when coming to a stop, and then attempting to proceed, the throttle with delay or lag from a stop. This has happened since the start of ownership in Feb 2022 up until today. Toyota has issued on previous Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) - T-SB-0111-22 - that Toyota states should resolve an issue with "Hesitation From Stop and Surge Concerns". The TCM -Transmission Control Module
... - logic has been modiWed to address these conditions. According to Toyota, this updated logic SHOULD keep this from happening. This TSB was released December 16, 2022. To date, this issue continues to occur. The only way to keep it from happening is to Reset the TCM Learning. This requires the battery to be unplugged for an extended period of time. There was a subsequent TCM logic update for Recall 24TA02 (NHTSA Campaign Number 24V125000). It would seem that this TCM Logic Update has actually caused this condition to be present more often. This is something that we have expressed to our Service Consultant at every visit and it is still occurring over two years later. We have had this happen multiple times while attempting to proceed through a 4-way stop, as well as trying to merge into tra`c in slower moving city streets. There are members of an online forum who have been able to record the data aow and show when and how the delay occurs. Other than December 2022 TSB, Toyota has not acknowledged this issue even though it continues to occur on the MY22+ Tundra/MY23+ Sequoia, as well as the MY18+ Lexus LS 500. I am lead to believe this is a result of the programming for the Direct Shift 10- AT from Aisin/Toyota and/or the V35A-FTS, both Type '17 (LS 500) and the Type '21 (Tundra/ Sequoia).Read more

I first experienced an issue with my Rogue in late December 2023 with the heat going out and the fans were producing minimal air through the vents. I brought the car to the dealer January 2nd, 2024. ... and new engine. In May I brought the car back to the dealer because the AC wasn’t working. They fixed that within a week. Didn’t seem to be engine related. Recently I experienced (Friday 6/14/2024) loss of power, whereby my vehicle stalled while driving at 55 mph. No warning lights came on, no alarm bells or signals popped up on my dashboard. As my vehicle began to decline in speed, a note displayed on my dash that stated the engine stalled and pull over safely. I was able to coast the car into a turn lane with my flashers on. The engine then died at full stop. I had to have it towed to the dealer as the vehicle bogged out once it started. Ultimately, it continued to stall out. The dealer notified me today that my engine failed again and that they would have to replace the engine again. I will hear from them again once they determine if they will replace the engine or if they may offer to buy back the car.Read more

Oil pump recall was not applied to my car; I had been informed multiple times by corporate to wait for the next quarter and more parts, and dealership stated they cannot keep the car further and to go forward with the repair. Corporate also informed me I will not be given a refund on any of the parts in the repair. I was not provided another car during this time, where I have been unable to commute to work. Financial assistance was given to me and accounted for about half of repair price. Still, I am responsible for $3964 to replace engine and all corresponding parts.Read more

The Brake Master Cylinder and Brake Booster pump failed to maintain pressure. I don't have the replaced parts, my mechanic recycled them before I realised I was going to submit this. The problem was confirmed by a Toyota dealership and this was a recall but since my car is older the recall had expired. I was unaware of this recall until the issue began.
