In some cases the stabilitrak light will come on, the park assist warning stating it shut off comes on dash, and trailer break. I have a full service AUL warranty and had vehicle checked at certified dealership and no codes were recorded. I replaced battery and the problem is still happening. The flames from the Ford Bronco Wild Trak eventually spread to a second vehicle destroying it down to the frame and causing enough damage to a third vehicle rendering it a total loss. All three vehicles were within 4 feet of our residence and the flames were hot enough it melted the garage door window frames. The Ford Bronco Wild Trak is frequently parked in our garage, and it been we would have lost our home and the lives of all four family member would have been put at risk. Researching Ford Bronco Wild Trak engine fires, we discovered that Ford Bronco Sports and Ford Escapes both have recalls due to faulty fuel injectors resulting in engine fires. The fuel injectors in Ford Bronco Wild Trak’s are similar to the fuel injectors in both the Ford Bronco Sports and Escapes. Due to the similarity between the Ford Bronco Sports and Escapes with the Wild Trak fuel Injectors we are asking for the NTSBA to initiate an investigation into Ford Bronco Wild Trak engine fires. We have not had any prior issues with the vehicle and there wasn't any warning signs or any smell of gas anytime before the incident. The only recall we received was about the airbag and we took it to Ford to have it taken care of. When I called Ford after the incident, the customer care representative mentioned a recall about the gas tank bracket I believe, but we never received a notification about that. Part is on back order as it is being manufactured due to installed faulty part, problem has been going on in 2023/2024 Chevy and gmc trucks since January 2024 without a recall put in place. Problem is being fixed after the part fails and the truck fails to run at optimal valves. According to forums software update were installed versus recalls to the actually valve body part being. I was sold a truck in sept 2024 with a faulty installed part versus it being fixed before it was purchased. My steering is erratic and sometimes it feels like it’s pulling hard to one side or the other and when I try to correct it actually over corrects. I’ve read about the eps problems when looking into options for repair/replace. I feel it too dangerous for driving anywhere. It is a 2018 Nissan Kicks. Thank you.
