My 2021 Ford Bronco Sport has now experienced complete transmission failure at approx. 86,000 miles, following earlier rear differential (RDU) failure at 60,600 miles. The wheels received torque while in neutral, which should not happen. Reverse gear would also engage forward motion, and drive would fail to engage at all unless I toggled 4WD low. Park would not hold the vehicle, requiring the parking brake to prevent movement. One serious safety incident occurred when stop-start activated at a red light and the car failed to re-engage drive, leaving me stranded in live traffic. In another case, reverse engaged late and suddenly surged backward near a building. I scanned the vehicle using FORScan and found a code for stuck solenoid A (failure to engage park). I asked the dealer to check the valve body — they refused, claiming the transmission was “shot” without verifying the issue. Ford issued SSM 49930, internally on Aug 5 2022 acknowledging these behaviors in this transmission. These are not just mechanical issues — they are dangerous. It has not been inspected by the manufacturer nor police but is currently at the dealer undergoing inspection. I just don't know what to do about issue and have lost hope nobody seems to know what's causing thr issue. Mechanic cannot find how it's getting into radiator. Break pads wear prematurely due to calipers constantly sticking. Rust is everywhere on frame, suspension, shocks undercarriage and body. Vdc/slip light will come on while driving causing the car to stall at any speed. Fixed those sensors 2 times since I bought the car in December 2023 from a used car lot. State I I've in has no laws to protect people buying from used car lots but they do for new cars even though new cars come with warranties. Should be the other way around protect the people who can't afford the 30000 dollar cars. There's a reason we go to used car lots. Paid 4500 after taxes and registration and have put almost 5000 into it. Nissan is aware of the problem just not enough to deem a recall.Read more

When I reported the problem to Lexus Corporate, they initially attempted to shift blame onto my roadside assistance provider (AAA) instead of acknowledging the mechanical defect. No solution was offered to ensure the vehicle’s reliability for daily use. Ongoing Concerns: •Lexus has not issued a recall or fix for the widespread 12V battery failures affecting plug-in hybrid vehicles. •This issue poses a significant safety risk, particularly to older drivers, disabled individuals, and anyone who relies on their vehicle for essential transportation. •I purchased this vehicle at a premium price, expecting reliability, and it has failed in fundamental ways. •Being stranded without warning and physically harmed while trying to exit my own vehicle is completely unacceptable for any car, let alone a brand-new luxury model.
