Whenever I fill ip the tank I get a fuel smell inside the vehicle. I do not overfill the tank and always stop filling when the fuel pump stops the first time. I have not been able to identify a leak and have not seen fuel leaking under the vehicle. The smell is strong for about the first 1/4 tank of use.

Regarding NHTSA Recall 24V-700 which was first reported in September of 2024. We were told not to use the "fast" charging port because of a fire hazard. Using the slower charging port takes about an extra 8 hours per charge. This was supposed to be fixed in November of 2024. To date....almost 2 years later....not fix is available. While driving home, multiple alerts showed up on the dashboard about my engine and to check the manual. Smoke began to come up from the engine and smelled really bad. I heard a rattling as well. The recall work was done on this not too long ago, coming up on 1 year ago, and still have engine difficulties after they replaced the entire engine and did the recall repair.

I was issued a recall notice (24V-700 R24B2) over 18 months ago that the CHAdeMO charger could cause a fire. There was no immediate fix. As of today, I got another notice saying that no fix is available yet; they are working on it. This is ridiculous and it has limited the use of my car and has affected the resale value.

In 2022, there was a recall on the hood latch system. At that time the dealership was able to spray a substance on the latch and close out the recall instead of replacing the latch. Now my car is having issues with the latch that should’ve been replaced from the start. Therefore, the solution during the recall only prolonged the issue and did not fix the issue.
