The front frame has been in for repairs before for flexing issues/excessive movement. We have had a door pop open during travel and suspension parts break (hanger and leaf spring) in 2 separate incidents. The frame appears to have further issues on the passenger side more recently.

My complaint is that Audi USA refuses to cover my damages and repair cost for the failed AC Evaporator that is covered under their warranty extension # AWA-21-01. Audi has a known issue for A/C Evaporator. The vehicle AC issue was immediately diagnosed by an independent mechanic who only diagnosed the issue and recharged the system until the Audi dealership had availability to inspect and perfo
... rm the repair. Jim Ellis Audi was told of the issue and how using a sniffer tool the leak was found inside the cabin. Jim Ellis Audi said they would have to run their own diagnostic and if they found the leak that Audi would cover it. They did not find the leak and did not use the sniffer tool and claimed they detected the wrong refrigerant and would recharge it with the correct refrigerant. I had no recourse at this point only knowing my issue was not fixed. I was told that if it happen again to bring it back and they will credit the repair and perform further diagnostics. I felt ignored and opted for a different Audi dealership (Audi Marietta) Almost 6 week later the refrigerant has leaked again and I took the car to Audi Mariette with the same AC issue. The Audi Mariette dealership confirmed the Evaporator failure and performed the repair. I contacted Audi USA requesting a refund for the cost for Eurofed chargers ($298.26) and Jim Ellis Audi charges ($419.84)and was denied claiming the the failure was a result of the wrong refrigerant. I challenge Jim Eillis Audi at the time for the failure to properly diagnose the issue and only performing a band-aid repair of recharging and allowing refrigerant gas to leak into he cabin for a second time. When I asked what was the wrong refrigerant they detected, they could not tell me. I think Jim Ellis dealership is trying to cover their mistake and poor workmanship. Audi USA refuses to escalate my complaint. The fact remains that the evaporator initially failed all cost should be cover by Audi.Read more

Especially when using gps apps this means the driver may be "lost" until it can be reconnected, which means they will try to get it reconnected while driving which is dangerous. Sometimes it goes in and out every 60-90 seconds. Sometimes it won't connect at all until the vehicle is power cycled or the head unit is reset but neither of these guarantees a stable connection. The issue is not fixed by replacing the USB cable or the phone with a brand new phone. The cables and phone do not have this issue with any other USB port that they have been used on (in other vehicles). Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? Not on my vehicle but there are hundreds of reports online for years with multiple Subaru models where it has been. I could get it reproduced easily, just haven't had the time. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? No Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? I believe this should be a recall since it is a problem with any diesel that not only Ford but Chevrolet makes. I did file this with my insurance company but it was not covered. My claim # with Farm Bureau is 10000600403. My case # with Ford is CXH-02697972-W5T6Y4. Ford did end up covering half of the cost to repair but I still believe that it should be a recall. Sometimes after starting the car the instrument panels remain black and will not display properly for several minutes or unless the car is shutdown for a long period of time and restarted. Additionally, Genesis uses a fingerprint scan to verify who is driving the vehicle. After verifying my fingerprint the vehicle now asks me for a password even though I already verified my biometrics.

Either the engine or something else keeps failing and i completely lose power. I got the car towed back to my house. The car starts but a lot of the time it will keep shutting down while I'm on the road. I went to the dealership twice to get it checked out and they say that they do not know what the problem is and can not guarantee that they can fix the issue.

I went to leave I couldn't put it in gear at all. I had to over ride the shifter and use a pen to push in the tow button everytime I want to use my vehicle. I have to check my lights and make sure no bulbs a

Also I went to open my rear hatch and that to is now not opening at all. So that is also not a recall. I have a back hatch that won't open and i have to climb through my back seats and open it from the lever in the door frame and the shifter doesn't work. Please help us!! We need these recalls! If there is an accident it would be nice to open the back up from the key to grab things and run. Or to shift fast and hurry to get away from a robber. While pulling my trailer on the interstate with cruise control set, I was going up a hill when all of a sudden my engine RPMs skyrocketed and my truck simultaneously lost propulsion. The cruise control system then disabled itself. My truck had slowed down enough that I turned my hazard lights on, and then selected a lower gear due to the decreased speed. ... rmal speed, my trucks RPMs again skyrocketed and my truck simultaneously lost propulsion. I was now fairly certain that my clutch was slipping. I was able to limp the truck back to my shop. I then contacted my dealership asking if this would be covered by the manufacture powertrain warranty, they informed that it was not. I then asked for them to order me a new flywheel, clutch kit, and all other incidental parts. It was at this time the dealer advised that I instead purchase an after-market performance clutch because they had seen very high failure rates from the OEM clutches. Not wanting the risk of using parts not designed by the OEM, I elected to use all OEM replacement parts. Upon installation of the new clutch parts, I discovered the clutch friction material was not even warn down on the slipping clutch. After the repairs, my truck was back to normal until, out of the blue again, the same thing happened with approximately 12,000 miles on the replacement OEM clutch components. Remembering what the dealer said about the high failure rates, I decided to hang onto the original clutch, pressure plate and flywheel incase the want or need to examine it would arise later. My trailer complies with all of the manufactures rated weight capacities. The now slipping replacement OEM clutch has not yet been removed from the truck. I do not want to use after-market replacement parts, however I am now concerned about using the replacement OEM parts due to the unexpected loss of propulsion. Said issues occurred at approximate ODO of 46,800 miles and again at 58,800 miles.Read more

We purchased this vehicle for our [XXX]. It was going to be his first vehicle, and we shined it up and changed the battery, detailed it, changed all spark plugs, the whole nine yards…so on his [XXX] we give it to him, and we take it for a test drive, and the engine seizes up and we have to tow it to our mechanic. He assesses the car, and its rod bearing wear that is under a class action lawsuit.
... After calling Kia, they will not do anything about it because it has never had a specific software update that is under a product improvement action. A knock sensor detection that would detect prior to engine failure. I told Kia that we looked up recalls on the vehicle and there was nothing regarding that on the search. From both their website, and NHTSA. And they said that it wasn’t their responsibility to do so. But it was their failed product and design, that put my child at risk, and we had no reasonable way of knowing about it. They said it wasn’t their responsibility. I don’t understand how a detection system of the engine failure, would be required after the failure? There’s no prevention aspect to the “product improvement”. At this point, it serves no purpose, the engine failed for that reason. And installing the software update prior to failure wouldn’t have changed anything. They have orchestrated a loophole to not be accountable for a design and product they out on the public market, which they received financial compensation for, that could have cost my child’s life. In fact, they won’t even pay to replace the deficient engine that broke because of their negligence in design and risk assessment. They are 100% unwilling to address the defective product they sold. Defected original lug nuts. Experienced lug nuts that had swollen and could no longer be removed from the wheels using a normal socket. High risk to be stranded if needing to change spare tire. ... ndshield to propagate a crack so easily and consistently every time it gets chipped (this seems statistically improbable compared to other cars) - and it’s a legitimate hazard to visibility if I don’t have ample opportunity to get the chip repaired to prevent it from propagating to a crack. Essentially I’m saying that it’s almost guaranteed that getting a chip will result in a foot long crack during the same drive (I say almost because I have been able to repair a chip before it was too late once). Furthermore, the crack will often double in size over night (presumably due to temperature changes) - which leads me to speculate that the windshield glass accumulated internal stresses during install due to poor design. I have only replaced my windshield through official Subaru dealerships with their recommended glass vendor. I’ve attached two photos from my most recent cracked windshield; the first is the crack that propagated immediately after the pebble hit while driving, and the second is after leaving the car overnight stationary. Also note that this is usually at highway speeds; and i have effectively had 1.5 broken windshields per year of driving the car. The RV has significant frame failure that Grand Design (the manufacturer) is ignoring. I noticed my floors warping and a cabinet crack. There was also some cracking of the fiberglass. I asked the dealership to check it out. The found that the frame is warped, multiple lagbolts are missing and several welds have popped. The RV is unsafe and not road worthy. The radio screen sounded as if it shorted out, went blank, and now my battery dies if I don't run my car every day. My odometer flashes and my engine light is on, but the engine codes that come up are related to the Evap. System Integrity Module, and the Active Grille Shutter that I'm sure need replacement due to age. I'm not sure if there is indeed a short, but my battery has been replaced three
... times (this time being the fourth) since 2019 which seems excessive leading me to believe that there may be one. When reaching out to my local dealership I am advised to bring in for them to look at which costs $150.00 just for the service department to troubleshoot. I during a previous recall I was informed that it costs $1800 to replace the radio. Upon further review I discovered that I am not the only owner with this same issue. Several owners have has this happen to their vehicles. I believe this is worth looking into.Read more

Lateral links failed. It was exactly what was described in this recall. However my car was not part of the recall because it was manufactured outside the date range. Recall affected until Mar 2019.
