THEY SUGGESTED THAT THE CAR BE TAKEN TO A MITSUBISHI DEALERSHIP IN THE ORLANDO AREA TO BE CHECKED OUT. THE CAR WAS TOWED TO A MITSUBISHI DEALERSHIP IN ORLANDO ON ORANGE BLOSSOM TRAIL. I CONTACTED THIS DEALERSHIP AND EXPLAINED WHAT HAPPENED. THEY KEPT THE CAR FOR TWO (2) DAYS AND COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. THEY CLAIM THAT THE CAR WAS PUT ON THE COMPUTER AND THAT ALL THESE TESTS WERE RUN BUT NOTHING SHOWED UP. SINCE THEY COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG, I PICKED UP THE CAR AND DROVE IT BACK TO BOCA RATON. THE CAR CONTINUED TO DO THIS PERIODICALLY SO I LIMITED THE DRIVING OF THE VEHICLE. ON JULY 13, 2002, I WAS DRIVING THE CAR ON THE EXPRESSWAY AND WHEN I WENT TO EXIT AND CAME TO A STOP, I WAS ALMOST REAR-END THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF ME BECAUSE THE CAR LUNGED FORWARD, SHOOK, AND FELT LIKE IT WAS GOING TO STALL OUT.
