I am filing a complaint because my 2018 Ram 2500 has been in the shop waiting for the ABS hydraulic unit since January. I don't understand why there are so many people in need of this part, I am a cattle rancher and I need my truck to haul my cattle to livestock shows. I was told by my service repairman that it would be April then they called back and said August. This is totally unacceptable!!

They are selling new fully equipped vehicles with computers chips just fine. Can you handle and have GMC install their backlog of computer chips? There are many safety features that DO NOT work, like parking assit and basically all warnings like when backing up etc.

And that it smells like stagnant water or mildew and again I was told the same thing that it is common. Why would I want to ever purchase another Mitsubishi if they are saying all this is common among their brand. Seems to me the unit collecting the fluid that then gets drained from the unit when sitting still is just collecting and going stagnant and causing the smell. I have a warranty on the vehicle however everything is a normal thing people have going on with their vehicle. Seems they don't want to put in the work until say the warranty is expired. A warranty they offer along with the extended warranty to cover bumper to bumper items I purchased. Ac problem is what it is it's not a safety concern but the thump in the tire after reversing seems like it should be a recall of something to do with the suspension and I don't think it has been investigated as it should. ... lures. The car in November of 2022 had a loss of power again but this time coils failed. Had all three coils and spark plugs replaced. The certified mechanic shop gave me the spark plugs and it was if they had a black felt on the tip of them. The mechanic said this was a sign of high oil consumption. High oil consumption is also a cause of coils and spark plugs failing prematurely. I have records to show how much oil I have bought and it is about 3 quarts every 1-2 months depending on how much I drive. This is extremely high and a sign of a faulty engine. It puts me in danger of being rear ended in traffic or on an open highway because it losses power. I use my car for work and sometimes that work takes me to small country towns. My work sometimes mean I get back when it is dark or get up when to get to work when it is dark. A car failure on a dark country road is unsafe. Yes a Hyundai dealearship in Decatur and Lubbock TX as well as a certified mechanic in Keller Texas can attest to no warning lights or codes and the car has high oil consumption. Inspected by two different hyundai dealarship service repair locations NO warning lights, no check engine lights, nothing to give notice of a problem about to occur. I have tried to deal with Hyundai but they refuse to accept that the issues are due to a bad manufactured engine. However all the signs point to that is the problem. It was quite a surprise, as we have taken to snow covered Fair Grounds parking lot to determine how the car accelerates, brakes and turns in snow. Did donuts and figure eights and the computer never freaked out. I was not able to photograph cockpit screen because of conditions. My driver's side seatbelt buckle will not latch onto the tongue. Sometimes I can get the buckle to latch onto the tongue by aggressively and repeatedly jamming the tongue into the buckle. Whenever I have to cross a bridge in freezing weather, it literally feels as if I am actually sliding on ice the entire way across, no matter how short the bridge is. Driving in snow almost feels like you are trying to drive with a flat tire. You can not drive this car over 40mph on any road condition other than dry. In every instance I have mentioned, I feel like I have control over the steering and front tires, but nothing at all behind the front seats. Just recently, on January 22,2022, I noticed my one back tire is completely bald, and the other rear tire is not much better. I had never really looked at the tires, because, why would I on a nine months old vehicle with 15,000 miles?? I immediately, the next day took it to my Mitsubishi dealer. We were there for an hour and a half. They could find nothing. I was shocked when I looked closer at my paper work after getting home. The rear backup camera has failed 5 times, the last time after only 7 days. There is a recall out on this problem on other Ford Vehicles (i.e. F150, Expedition, etc.) but not my model year. In some cases, the Ford Customer Service person stopped communicating with me and closed out the Open Case without notice or action to resolve. In one case they wanted me to pay for more than half of the cost without any assurance that the problem was understood or a fix in place. The Dealership has investigated several times and determined that the problem is not with the wiring or the display, but with the camera. The issue appears to be with the design, manufacture, or failure of the components used not suitable for the environment (temperature, humidity or vibration). The fear is that someone will be injured, or a fatality will occur, at a minimum damage to other property and the vehicle. This is an untenable situation. Thank you for reviewing this and hopefully escalating this to the level of a recall. ABS actuator and pump failing, which requires much harder pushing on the brake pedal to come to a complete stop. This part is supposed to last for the lifetime of the car and is now failing roughly 11 years after purchase. I took it to the Toyota dealership and was quoted $2,500 to repair it.
