I GOT IN MY CAR TO GO SOMEWHERE, SHUT THE DOOR, AND THE SUNROOF COMPLETELY SHATTERS. I WENT TO THE DEALERSHIP (AN ACTUAL MITSUBISHI DEALERSHIP AS OPPOSED TO THE DEALERSHIP WHERE I PURCHASED MY VEHICLE WHICH WAS A CHEVY DEALERSHIP) WHERE THE MANAGER SAID HE HAD NEVER HEARD OF THIS AND THAT IT SHOULDN'T BE COVERED BY WARRANTY BECAUSE IF IT WERE FAULTY GLASS THEN IT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED MUCH SOONER.

THE PROBLEM DID NOT GO AWAY. MITSUBISHI WAS CONTACTED AND THE REGIONAL MANAGER FOR MITSUBISHI ORDERED TO REPLACE THE YOKOHAMA TIRES WITH MICHELIN. I ALLOWED A BREAK IN PERIOD FOR THE TIRES AND THIS HAS NOT SOLVED THE PROBLEM. THE TIRE SPECIALIST NOTED THAT IT COULD BE A BAD FRONT AXEL OR TRANSMISSION ENGINE MOUNTS. BRAKE WARNING AND ANTILOCK LIGHTS COME ON THE FIRST AND SEVERAL SUBSEQUENT TIMES THE BRAKE PEDAL IS PUSHED. THE BAKE PEDAL IS VERY STIFF AND HARD TO PRESS AT THIS POINT. A STRANGE NOISE CAN BE HEARD FROM THE LEFT SIDE OF THE DASH EACH TIME THE BRAKE PEDAL IS PUSHED. THESE SYMPTOMS ARE IDENTIFIED IN RECALL ID 01V254001 BUT MITSUBISHI STATES THAT MY VEHICLE IS NOT PART OF THIS RECALL.
