Seat belt buckle of second row bucket seat on driver’s side is malfunctioning. Buckle clips in as expected, and then disengages on its own without user touching it. Had I been driving at the normal highway speed in my city (55mph) with the airbag deploying in my face, with others on the road, and inhaling blinding fumes, I can assure you it would’ve been detrimental to my and other’s being. The car was inspected for a few months by multiple Subaru engineers, one of the accident advocate specialist refused to give me any documentation or pictures proving this was the cause. I read online that a guy had the recall done a week ago and the same thing happened to him. That same guy said that he brought it to his ford dealer and they are on their 3rd attempt at fix it as the problem keeps occurring. lets hope that doesn't happen..Read more

Towing services was able to tow my car to the dealership about 15 minutes away, upon unloading vehicle onto lot, taking an Uber home as no loaners are available, asked the next day about getting car into diagnosis and was told that it would take 2 weeks to get in to be looked at, and now it sits until they are able to diagnose a known problem, even the sales manager at this dealership has had same issue on 3 different EV6's. He assured me they know what to look for when it comes to the issue. After doing some research this issue, it is a well known issue with Hyundai/Kia cars and it looks like the ICCU module needs to be replaced. And Hyundai/Kia EVs and was supposedly addressed in a recall done in late September of last year, yet I have gone back and made a complaint with Kia regarding this issue, but in their eyes it was fixed in the recall. This new issue now goes under same case number associated with the charging interrupted error, where charging stops after 10 mins, took to dealership had the update done and still same issue. Continued to have problems charging on level 2 charger, even at a lowered amps. Lowering the amount that is recommended by the manufacturer and still having the same issue. Thank You.Read more

Causing the control arm to dismount as well as separation of the CV axle from the transmission, while traveling down the road losing complete steer of the vehicle. ... 've recently done some research and gathered information regarding models from 08-10 Mitsubishi lancers having the exact same issue. I contacted my dealer about the issue and they stated there are no current recalls on my year vehicle. Although they also started that the part number on my subframe is the same part number that failed on the 09-10 models. There should be a recall on 2012 Mitsubishi lancer subframe(front cross member) I hope this issue is resolved! I was fortunate to not have been injured! My vehicle has not currently been inspected after the accident because I had it towed back to my house after the accident because I was unsure what to do about the situation. The vehicle is available to be towed to be inspected if need be. After hearing a grinding noise in the rear brakes I took it to Les Shwab to have the brakes inspected along with a tire rotation. ... kes are the ones that normally wear out so quickly. They had planned to replace the pads and rotors on the rear of the vehicle. When they tried to remove the calipers the piston would not release and I had to pay foe new calipers as well. A couple hour brake inspection turned into three days without my vehicle waiting for parts and a $1,314.49 bill. I went online looking for recalls and there weren't any. I did however find that this is a common issue for the 2021 Jetta, and it is presumed that the roll back brake assist is faulty causing the calipers to not release thus causing excessive wear to the rear brakes. Had my rear brakes gone out completely before I had them inspected this could have been very bad causing myself or others serious injury or even death. I am seeking for NHTSA to investigate this further and force VW to issue a recall. I am also seeking full reimbursement for my bill from VW. Thank you.Read more

The connecting rod bearing has failed in my vehicle. It is causing damage to the engine, there are metal shavings found in the oil, and the engine is producing a strange and unusual sound. It's causing the engine damage and wear and causing it to seize. The incident has been reported to the dealer and has been confirmed in an inspection report.
