Chrysler needs to recall this issue. Many people are having this same screen issue. Chrysler, Please do something about this. This has been known to be a safety issue, as when it gets bad enough, the screen will black out. Delamination on screens has been known to cause the screen to black out, especially during backing, and buttons will randomly be pushed. Chrysler, recall this issue. Thank you.

I bought the car used from a Ford Dealer in October 2024. The car had a clean CARFAX and solid maintenance history and just under 40,000 miles at time of purchase. In December 2024, there were several instances of rough idle at time of cold start that quickly cleared. In January 2025, it stopped blowing heat. My local garage found it was low on coolant but could not identify a leak. A few mor
... e days of driving showed continued loss of coolant. I brought it back to dealer I bought it from and their service department confirmed there was coolant in the engine cylinders and a full engine replacement was needed - a condition consistent with Ford's Technical Service Briefing issued in 2019. Ford customer service is unwilling to support the cost of that repair due to the age of the vehicle. Ford has admitted that there was a manufacturing defect in some of their engine line across models. They issued a recall for certain models with this issue, but not for my vehicle. It is insane to me that a car manufacturer, who acknowledges a mistake in production of their engines won't stand behind a vehicle with less than 45,000 miles on the engine.Read more

2012 Mazda3i 5dr hatchback. Persistent issue with headlights, both low beam and high beam, as well as interior lighting and other lighting. The headlights flicker for several seconds any time the brake pedal is applied. Interior lighting also flickers when brake pedal is applied. Headlights sometimes flicker when vehicle is decelerating and no brake pedal is applied, most notable when vehicle is t
... raveling downhill. Further, the luminosity (brightness) of the headlights visibly dims, but does not flash, when the vehicle is parked and the brake pedal is applied. A high volume of others report the same issue, including documented complaints. These vehicles are unsafe, defective as designed, and do not conform to FMVSS No. 108. NHTSA must investigate further. Many other owners are not aware of the cause of the issue and attempt to fix it by replacing headlights, alternator, etc. Mazda was aware of issue prior to July 2013, when it issued TSB 01-019/13. This document states, "Some vehicles may exhibit the headlights flickering when the vehicle is decelerating (by applying the brakes) with the headlights on. This concern is caused by inadequate alternator output (controlled by the PCM) when the battery is under a heavy load. To correct the problem, the control logic of the PCM has been changed." This appears to be at best a temporary fix. Bommarito Mazda in Missouri required payment of $199.88 to "diagnose" this problem and address it in the manner prescribed in TSB 01-019/13. This service was not covered under warranty. Service Manager M.D. claimed to have never heard of this issue before and that it would need to be diagnosed, despite being informed by the owner of the precise issue, that others reported experiencing the same issue, and that others reported the issue was addressed by reprogramming the PCM. Immediately following this service, the headlights continued to visibly dim when the vehicle is parked and the brake pedal applied.Read more

This has been an ongoing issue since I purchased the vehicle in July 2024. It has become so bad that the vehicle is nearly un-driveable. And while FORD might state it is an "inconvenience", when driving on the highway and a cylinder just randomly shuts down, the vehicle loses power and backfires and vibrates it is a safety concern. The first issue at 26k miles when the coolant light turned on. It was a broken head gasket which required the replacement of the full motor on the vehicle. After the motor was replaced, the vehicle had to be taken back to the dealership that completed the work on 3 different occasions for installation concerns including a loose bolt and low coolant levels. The second issue at 33k miles was the fa
... ilure of the charcoal canister which ruined the fuel tank lining, resulting a replacement of the fuel tank. This issue caused the car to stall anytime it was idle (if I was in traffic and not able to accellerate or in a parking lot going slowly, it would stall requiring it to be put into park and restarted. This issue was a huge safety concern since my car would shut down in traffic. No indicator lights came on during this issue. Next, at 37k miles, I smelled terrible gas fumes each time the car idled. At one point, when blowing my nose, I had black soot residue, so I can't imagine what I was breathing or the risk of the vehicle catching fire with such strong fumes. I had to take the car in twice before they took me seriously. The car had broken O rings from the engine replacement. No indicator lights came on for this issue either. Last week, we received the car back after 33 days in the shop for ANOTHER broken head gasket. Within a day of getting the car back, it misfired and the check engine light was on again. The car does not accellerate correctly which poses a safety risk when trying to pull out into moving traffic or cross oncoming traffic. The car coming behind was far enough and I was able to react. Summary of actions and requests to Toyota: Two dealerships in central Texas have confirmed the issue but case was dismissed. Details below. 1. Dealership 1: Issue acknowledged by shop foreman , mirror changed but this did not fix the issue. Opened case with Toyota Brans Engagement and requested to work with a different dealership. This is the dealership where the car was purchased. Report wrongly stating rattled noise they weren't willing to correct it and pushed me to sign. 2. Dealership 2: Issue acknowledged again. Since mirror change did not fix issue shop foreman opened Dealer Product Request. 3. Current status: On 1/3/25 Toyota Brand Engagement advocate called to say that even though the shop foreman at the 1st and 2nd dealerships acknowledged the problem, the resolution was that it was a "normal" condition for the car. Case Reference #[XXX]. No warnings related to the problem. First occurrence: Day one, driving back from the dealership. I am experiencing a serious issue with my 2018 Kia Sorento AWD related to the AWD coupling. During normal driving, the vehicle does not perform as expected, and the AWD system feels compromised, making the car unsafe and unreliable. While the vehicle doesn’t stall, it struggles to function properly, which is a major concern. I took the vehicle to the dealership, where they diagnosed the problem
... as a malfunctioning AWD coupling. However, they informed me that this issue is not covered under warranty or any recall program. This response is both frustrating and concerning, especially since AWD functionality is a critical part of the Sorento’s design and intended use. After researching, I found that many Kia Sorento owners have reported similar problems with the AWD coupling, indicating that this may be a widespread issue across multiple model years. If this is a known defect, it is troubling that Kia has not offered a recall or extended warranty to address the problem. Customers should not be left to bear the financial burden of repairing what seems to be a common and significant defect. I am requesting further clarification and assistance. I need to understand why this issue is not covered, particularly if it affects other Sorento vehicles as well. If this is a systemic problem, Kia should take responsibility to resolve it fairly and promptly. The AWD system is essential for safe driving, and as a loyal customer, I expect Kia to stand behind its product and ensure my safety and satisfaction.Read more

This occurrence with the vehicle happened in October of 2023 and I no longer own it. The only reason I'm reporting it today is because of the news reports I've been seeing about a possible investigation into the exact issue I experienced. I started to hear a knock from the engine that got progressively worse over the course of a week. I made an appointment to have it looked at, but before I cou

Engine light was the first to appear followed by the transmission light, then the vehicle went into "limp mode." It wouldn't go over 30mph and eventually just shut itself off; every warning lamp on the dash was on. It was towed to a local Acura dealership where the service tech diagnosed the issue and stated it was a connecting rod bearing that had worn prematurely and there was movement in the piston. I had them check for a recall then and my VIN was not on the list so I proceeded to source a motor and have another shop swap it for much cheaper. That being said, I would very much like to be reimbursed for the costs I incurred. I have multiple documents and at one point had a video that the dealership tech sent me showing the defect.
