There was no visible damage to the outside or undercarriage of the car. At the dealership when I had the car towed there I was specifically asked if I had washed the car or gotten it wet, which I had not. Thankfully I was able to safely navigate to the side of the freeway at reduced speed but I do not want this to happen to anyone else. I hope I can get some answers to prevent this from happening in any other 2023 Model 3 .Read more

The gear box failed, the battery failed and the coolant system leaked at the same time. It is at the dealer now who has confirmed these. A vehicle dashboard light came on before this occurred to tell me to engage the parking brake to prevent the car from rolling. Where I live, there are no hills so no reason to ever engage a parking brake and this dashboard light is meaningless. However, when
... I noticed this light, I made an appointment with the dealership and was able to drive the car there several days later. I thought it would not be a major issue but learned it was. The car has only 65,000 miles, and I have never been in an accident with this car. It is a safety issue, as it was a major problem with no effective warning and no real explanation in the owner's manual. I was fortunate to have brought the car in. I have not received the car back yet but the cost is substantial to repair.Read more

Greetings, after 3 dealership attempts to correct the TIPM - NHTSA 19V813000 recall, my Jeep still stalled 4 times at highway speeds. I narrowly averted being rearended several times. There is a known defect with the GM Ecotec engines, specifically the lack of retaining clip for the internal PCV valve, allowing it to become dislodged and drawn into the engine. Without the PCV valve, tremendous engine pressure is produced, leading to broken gaskets causing vacuum leaks, misfiring, severe vibration, and loss of power when accelerating (which can be a safety issue). Dorman produce
... d a video outlining the issue and has re-engineered the part to prevent the issue from occurring: "Why GM 1.4L Ecotec engine intake manifold and valve covers repairs are often related" [XXX] This appears to be a fairly wide-spread issue with the GM Ecotec engines, and GM should perform a recall to replace these parts, and reimburse those who had to replace themselves. This also causes error codes requiring spark plugs to be replaced (they get fouled by oil) and the MAF Sensor. In troubleshooting, I also had to replace the distributor power bar and air intake hose. Hi [XXX] My Kia Rio 2023 S vin number is [XXX] . Bought a couple months back new at Summit Place Kia Auburn Hills michigan. Once I drive off I realised the steering wheel alignment is off. They did a wheel alignment there and found misalignment at f

I called my salesman and he told me bringing it into service will incur a service charge as this issue is not under warranty. However, I believe this constant misalignment is from a manufacturing defect causing safety issue and you could access the servicing records that said the wheel alignment was already off at the first emergency servicing. I have also made sure all my tire pressures are topped up to the recommended pressures Kindly advise and rectify this road safety issue. The car was running in parking garage without ignition being turned on. When I entered the car, the motor wouldn't catch at all, and message popped up saying the there was a brake malfunction. All the lights were on, so it did not seem to be a battery problem, but the drive function was dead. Several months ago the car started racing while i was driving and i couldnt get it to stop. I finally,
... while still driving, turned off the ignition and rolled off the road. After a few minutes, i restarted the engine. it had stopped racing and i drove it to the Mazda dealership. They didnt find anything wrong. So this latest incident, Jan. 3rd, involved an uninitiated running vehicle that was parked, and the brake malfunction console notice that said "brake malfunction". Again, the prior incident involved the same vehicle racing on a roadway and necessitated the turning off the ignition while on a major road and rolling the car onto the shoulder. There is something wrong with this car involving the engine and brakes. Triple A came to tow it to the dealership and utilized an alternator to start it, which enabled them to drive it to the tow truck.Read more

While driving my 2016 F-150 in heavy traffic, the vehicle suddenly loses all forward power as if the transmission were in neutral. The engine is running and the tachometer indicates the RPM's are approximately 1,200, but it will not respond to pushing the gas pedal. The RPM's remain the same, regardless of how hard the pedal is pushed. Shifting the transmission to other forward gears does nothing,
... it still acts as though it is in neutral. A wrench symbol appears on the main screen, as well as a message that says "Hill Start Not Available". The *ONLY* way to fix the problem is to bring the vehicle to a complete stop, turn it off, wait a few seconds, and then start it again. It starts very roughly at first. After one or two attempts at this, the engine will reengage with the transmission and respond properly. It then drives normally for several days or a week. After considerable research, I found a TSB from Ford that indicates this is a known problem with their Electronic Throttle Body. The TSB number is 16-0139. It is extremely dangerous because it often happens at high speeds. It once happened to me on a narrow causeway, blocking all traffic while I came to a complete stop and restarted the truck. It also happened on a very busy highway. I was able to pull off to a narrow shoulder and restart the vehicle, but it was terrifying in extremely heavy traffic.Read more
