Has been having issues with the hydralyft suspension. There has been a leak in both front air suspension fittings that connect to the air lines that supply air to both of the front air bag suspension suspension shocks. The very next day i walked outside because I was about to head to work. So I cranked my SUV up noticed the battery light on the dash was back on again but then I seen a little bit of smoke coming out from underneath my hood so I shut my truck off opened the hood & seen it was coming from my alternator. I even got a video of when I opened the hood that morning when I seen the smoke, & when Iooked under the hood the copper wound wrapped diodes inside the alternator were glowing red hot the color of lava. All I smelled was burning copper so it was on the verge of the metal being so hot it melted, like they were just pulled out of a metal furnace. I have notice for some time now that I have been getting oil changes done before my scheduled time. For example, I got my oil changed August 25, 2023, at 66403 mileages. On August 25th I informed the 1st technician that my check engine light came on along with low oil/change oil light. He completed a code reader/car diagnostic. After the oil change, I spoke with service advisor Eric P who spoke with the previous tech regarding the diagnostic. I was scheduled to come back in on 9/7 due to a recall issue with check engine light and low oil pressure but when I returned on 9/7 the check engine light was off therefore showing nothing was wrong. I'm concerned because I'm having oil changes before scheduled mileage & service time. This has happened numerous times. On Monday, 08/21/2023, by (USPS) delivered a Mercedes Benz Official Letter Head Dated August 2023, stating that an (IMPORTANT SAFETY RECALL) for my Make and Model was issued. For the (Fuel Pump Impeller Module & Unfortunately, the Remedy is Not Yet Available). August 2023, the (Battery Voltage Level Percentage Warning Light) displayed 2 separate times. Then unknown dates, the front left driver's and right passenger's window were only going down by about 10-25% and up by about 90%, without completely closing. on 10/26/2023, the (Coolant System Malfunction Reduced Drive Performance Serviced Required) displayed. It has been at the Henderson of Mercedes-Benz Dealership to this date because knowing and understanding of the issues and unable to repair the problem. Additionally, being told the fuel pump recall parts not available until May of 2024. Monthly payments are still made, but the vehicle is not or cannot be driven due to the C-Class Sedan Operator's Manual on Pages 26-27, noting this could cause Crash, Injury and/or Death. I (FEAR FOR MYSELF, FAMILY, PUBLIC'S SAFETY & LIFE). The vehicle was brand new build and only has about 2,300 actual miles total. Reasonable time, due process has been given or allowed and being told it is unknown when or how all repairs will be fixed and still owning and not being able to drive the vehicle. I purchased a used vehicle by way of a loan from "Affinity Plus Credit Union." On 7/27/20 from "Royal Drive Autos" with an extended warranty sold through Affinity Plus Credit Union. The warranty was issued by Route 66 CO. Both parties (Bank & Warranty CO.) granted the loan and warranty understanding there was a “Prior Salvage” title and had been cleared to sell the vehicle. ... n serviced under recalls by KIA and Route 66 since the purchase of the vehicle. There was a major engine failure believed to be a recall issued by KIA. The vehicle had a “Flashing Engine” light and failed on 9/5/23. I took the vehicle to Luther Bloomington KIA to be serviced on 10/9/23, as this was the earliest appointment available. Once diagnosed the service advisor and the mechanics said that the engine would need to be replaced due to the failure of part. And cannot fix broken part if the engine is not working. KIA denied engine replacement due to "Branded Title." The service adviser then tried to contact Route 66 to see if they would cover the work, they also denied servicing due to having a branded title. Service adviser said to try and get to the bottom of it through route 66. So I called, and they said the bank should've never issued an extended warranty because of the branded title stated on page 2 of the warranty agreement. As it was void/never valid from the start. I talked to Gail Johnson, and she says that it was a mistake to sell the warranty and agreed it should not have been issued. She stated that it was a lack of training of the employee. I stated I would not have taken the loan or the vehicle with a branded title if it wasn't for the extended warranty covering the vehicle. It is now 11/18/23 and the Vehicle is still not fixed and have tried to reach out to Affinity Plus to resolve the issue. And would like KIA to fix the recall that caused the engine failure.Read more

I was in the first of a two lane divided highway with no vehicles within 1000 feet in front of me and several cars passing me on my left. ... rving to the left about a foot or so then applying the brakes hard while simultaneously turning the front wheels about 65 degrees to the right. I believe another vehicle without the Tesla's low center of gravity would surly have rolled over. I was now heading across the breakdown lane towards the guardrail. With great effort I took over control of the steering just 1-2 feet from the guardrail pulling hard left and pressing down on the accelerator (to release the brakes) causing a second roll over feeling. I then turned right to straighten the car out and continued down the highway in the same lane without contacting any objects. I felt the violent nature of the swerving in my lower back and left arm. The car did not want to release the steering to me. I have no evidence other than the experience of my wife and me. I was coming off a white concrete bridge deck with a slight left curve without any lane markings. At the moment of the incident the bridge deck was covered with a large area of black tar. I believe these two factors caused the car to go into some kind of avoidance maneuver. I also believe a lesser capable driver may have been killed.Read more

In 2 instances power steering doesn’t work and brakes go to the floor (it will stop, but very slowly). I believe pretty much every error code displays when this happens. At 59,200 miles, I noticed 2nd gear being skipped due to "adaptive driving." I placed the setting to "sport mode" so that it would not adapt (but rather follow a pre-programmed shifting protocol). 2nd gear was not initiating for a set time (hi rev till it engaged but it finally would engage. No warning light appeared at the time). I then got my Transmission serviced, thinking it just needed its
... 60k maintenance. No better after service (but no worse). I called Ford to set an appointment (7 week wait to get in). I the mean time, I unhooked the battery for 12 hours so that the "adaptive driving" would reset. It instantly got worse and a wrench popped up warning of a need to repair (at about 60,250mi). Fast forward 2000 miles, it is now skipping 2nd, 4th and 5th, not down shifting when coming to a stop and randomly not engaging at all. Once at the dealer, I was advised the CDF drum had failed and needed to be replaced. Notes stated the Trans fluid looked "servery burnt" (in just 2000 miles since its service). I did some research and found tons of complaints on this 10 speed transmission. Even the dealer mentioned it is in their system as an ongoing issue to look for and is 1 step below a recall. My warning of concern being shared now is to hopefully push that to a recall as no transmission that has be "grandma driven" (no horsepower upgrades, never pulled a trailer, no long hauls) should fail at 60K miles as mine did (and many other owners of this transmission). ... dal was depressed; however, the vehicle hesitated and failed to accelerate as intended. The vehicle was taken to two local dealers. The first dealer was unable to duplicate the failure. The second dealer informed the contact that the parts needed to complete the repair would not be available for a year and a half. The dealer was made aware of the failure but confirmed that parts were not yet available. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The dealer confirmed the error on Oct 30, 2023, and attempted to rectify the issue. Unfortunately, their efforts were not successful, as the problem recurred on Nov 11, 2023, after the vehicle was returned to us. The vehicle has undergone inspections four times. The first inspection occurred at the dealer on Oct 29, 2023. Subsequent inspections took place at the dealer on Oct 30, 2023, Nov 6, 2023, and are scheduled for Nov 14, 2023. Despite these thorough inspections, the recurring issue has not been successfully resolved. We remain open to facilitating any further inspections required for a comprehensive investigation. The vehicle was bought brand new with 12 miles on the odometer at the dealer with an illuminated engine light on Oct 29, 2023. Despite attempts to rectify the issue, the warning message persisted, and the incident on the freeway occurred on Nov 13, 2023. The frame of the rear window cracked which allowed water to enter the cab. Water made its way onto the rear anchor strap of a car seat and saturated it which could have caused it to possibly not perform properly, which could have injured a child. Since the rear window can be opened electrically it is possible that a short could occur due to the water intrusion. GM has a service bulletin out about
... resealing the window but will not cover the repair or replacement of the window if it is outside the 36,000 mile warranty period. Obviously this is a manufacturer defect that has numerous occurrences or there would not be a bulletin created for it.Read more

This car has a standard transmission and a hydraulic clutch. The synchronizer for low gear lets it pop back out of gear. This is extremely dangerous if you are pulling out into a busy lane of traffic. It throws the shift lever back out of gear with a lot of force. I have had the hydraulics bled but plan to take it to a dealer soon. There are others listed on YouTube as having the same problem.

At 45mph or faster, when turning left.. the steering sticks briefly and the EPS (electric power steering) over-corrects it. Makes the steering wheel jump. So the driver has to perform constant corrections. I believe it’s very serious safety issue.

Engine Maintaince light continues to go off when air conditioning is turned on. Took the 2020 Toyota Rav4 LE gas 30k to the dealership and was quoted almost 700.00 to replace the coolant bypass hose and valve. It is a know issue on the 2019 and is common in the 2020s as well as the newer Rav4 Toyota's. My 2 warranties power train and 36k/3yr nor my excessive wear and tear insurance doesn’t cover

While driving the truck my ABS, Traction Control and red brake symbol come on the dash as a warning. The vehicle once this happens no longer can utilize cruise control nor its ABS system during hard braking. This problem began intermittently and has become permanent. Dealerships are unable to get parts for repair.
