I am looking for support concerning a possible defect with our 2016 Mustang V6. It appears to be a fuel tank defect. Causing our garage to completely smell like gas when the car is full of fuel. Similar to recall# 15v339-7601. Our car has a hairline fracture (according to our dealership service department). They attempted to repair the issue by replacing the EVAP line, instead found a crack in
... the EVAP nipple. According to our dealership the emissions warranty expired the week before we reported the issue in 2023. This is upsetting as I feel this is not a maintenance issue and more of a design flaw as Ford changed the design of the fuel tank after 2017. The dealership wants us to pay for this service but this is not our fault they fixed it incorrectly. I feel like this should be a recall or some sort of extended warranty from Ford for a design flaw.Read more

My message belongs to all vehicle manufacturers. Especially the business/commercial vehicles like mine . Which we spent most of our time inside it, during the work periods'. I would like to ask a favor to take a better attention when it comes to Safety/Comfort /look. We don't Race or Camp but work and sometimes live there. Most of the time me and my hardworking colleagues don't complain a lot. B
... ecause we don't have time. Sometimes we also wanna grab a Starbucks coffee, if they can make the drive thro clearance just a little bit higher. The future is in all of us hand, let's work together to make this life safer and more pleasure! Without discriminating each other. We don't ask for Shiny Chrome wheels. But we need you to install, all of your best safety systems without asking " Do i want or not ?" Because sometimes we might say no without know why. Until we get killed and died. I am writing this message because i got survived. I found attractive property for leases in one of RE apps. Because that address was on my way back. I came there, and parked right across the street, while idling my vehicle, dreaming of my automotive shop. "Wow I might have a Downtown View its so nice". A lots of other places says " No Automotive Businesses" even tho " Zoning was allowed " but this place was not. And just about minutes later, the car slowly came and stopped next to me with a full of young guys inside. Masks on their face, globs and guns on their hands. They dragged me down hit me with a gun , until I think about "is it real or what ?". What i remember ." Where is money, key, phone " repeatedly by mixing bad words . I told them "Take everything inside". Cause i scared and was hoping for the help. "Can my van give little sound & Light so 911 can see us ? Forgetting, you don't have that Trim . Then some how they left. Rushed to get back to my seat, pushing the emergency button and no click. I ask the guy who's riding a bike "call911' but he " no need to go work By!"Read more

I am writing to bring to your attention a critical security issue regarding the rear door locks of the 2017 Mercedes GLE model VIN - [XXX] . Upon attempting to lock the vehicle using the key fob, I have encountered a malfunction where the rear door behind the passenger seat fails to secure properly. Despite attempts to engage the locking mechanism, this specific door remains open, triggering the v

As a concerned consumer, I am deeply troubled by the presence of such a critical flaw in a luxury automobile. Given the potential ramifications for driver and passenger security, I urge the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to conduct a thorough investigation into the root cause of this malfunction. It is imperative that swift action be taken to address and rectify this security vulnerability to ensure the continued safety and peace of mind for Mercedes GLE owners and their families. Thank you for your attention to this matter. [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)Read more

I have a 2023 Ford bronco that has the 2.3 L engine and seven speed manual transmission. It was originally purchased in January 2023. I live in Colorado so it is cold and on cold mornings, since I have received delivery of the vehicle, It has made and continues to make a grinding, scraping sound when the vehicle is in neutral, or the transmission is not engaged. The grinding, scraping sound will o
... ccur when driving in first, second, and third gear. If the weather is warm, as over last summer, it does not make the grinding, scraping sound. It has been consistently documented amongst other owners of this particular vehicle, the new sixth generation Ford bronco full-size vehicle with the 2.3 L engine and seven speed manual transmission , that these transmissions make this grinding, scraping sound. I have had it investigated by my local Ford dealership on two separate occasions, and although the tech on site at the dealership states that he can hear the grinding sound and agrees that it is an abnormal sound for a vehicle transmission to make, the Ford motor company has refused to do any type of repair or modification, or replacement of the transmission in my particular vehicle to correct the problem. However, when discussing this problem with other Ford bronco owners, Ford motor company’s response has been very irregular, one friend, in particular, has had his transmission replaced. I am very concerned that as transmissions tend to suffer with wear and tear, that should this transmission fail early due to the grinding, scraping sound, ford motor company will not replace it under warranty, stating that it was my fault or expected wear and tear, that the transmission failed early, when, in reality, it is just as likely that the early failure would be due to this abnormal, grinding, scraping sound.Read more

I am the owner of a 10 year old Chevrolet Silverado 1500 with less than 82000 miles. Chevrolet has Service Bulletins out regarding frame rust, but I was unable to have a dealership repair the surface rust for the 7 years I have owned the truck. My frame is now rusted out to the point it is not safe to operate and will cost over $15000 for Chevrolet to repair since the Service Bulletin was not reso

This issue is beyond a cosmetic issue and does affect the safety of the vehicle, the driver, passengers, property, and people around. This issue is not isolated to me and my truck, but many others. Thanks to this not being looked at as a safety concern I am now left without a safe method of transportation. Frame rust and deterioration needs to be upgraded to a recall, just as Toyota. Within the first week of ownership (delivery on 1/15/24), the car's parking and/or front collision sensors started malfunctioning on a regular basis. The sensors repeatedly gave off false alerts when the car would approach intersections even though no obstacles were in front of, or behind, the car. The false alerts were quite startling and they consisted of loud alarms and warning images in both
... the driver's display and the car's heads up display. The repeated false alarms posed a significant safety hazard because they initially caused me to slam on the brakes risking a rear end collision. Once I realized the sensors were malfunctioning, I started to ignore them which is equally dangerous if a real collision needed to be averted. The car is currently in the service department, and it has been there for a total of 29 days thus far. It was initially thought that a software update would resolve the problem, but that did not work. After the software update was completed, a new "parktronic" module was installed. That also did not solve the issue. I am now being advised that the car is issuing fault codes related to the airbag system. It seems that there are some serious electrical problems that are plaguing the vehicle. The service department has advised me that they have no clear date on when this issue will be resolved.Read more

The crash occurred at 2:50 PM on January 10, 2024 while pulling our 2021 Toyota Venza into a diagonal parking space on a slight upgrade. The vehicle surged over the curb, across the sidewalk and into a brick wall with gas pipelines attached to it. As this was happening, the driver yelled, “I don’t know what’s happening.” The car then rebounded onto the sidewalk and was turned off quickly
... because of a gas smell. We exited the vehicle and tried to keep people away from the scene because of the smell. The passenger had great difficulty getting out of the car because the passenger side door was blocked by a tree in the median. The Fire Department cleared the area, the police interviewed both the driver and the passenger and the gas company arrived to repair the meters and pipes. No citation was issued. During a call on January 12, 2024 to cancel a pre-paid service agreement, we were referred to the Toyota Brand Engagement Center who interviewed us before forwarding information on to the Toyota Liability Team. Toyota sent a contractual employee to download the information from the vehicle’s computer modules for further analysis by Toyota. On February 20, 2024, Toyota issued a report that stated the vehicle had no defects related to the accident and that the accelerator pedal had been fully depressed prior to impact. The report did not address other information that was provided to individuals investigating the incident, including information about the incident itself, information about a delayed acceleration event several days prior to the incident and notification from the local Toyota dealer the next day that a check engine light had come on around 2:50 the day of the incident followed a minute later by alarms indicating “airbag failure to deploy” and “hybrid system failure.” The report also did not address the possibility of a problem with the throttle system, specifically the accelerator sensor.Read more

The right fender is severly damaged, right tire flat and I was unable to move the tires back to a straight position. The car cannot be driven. Yesterday, 2/23, I was at the dealers for oil change and tire rotation and was told there was a recall on the vehicle which required a softwear update. Reading my maintenance report it seems that this was an emissions recall, service bulletin 23-038 and the PGM-FI software was updated. This is a leased car which I got 3/31/23.
