Aside from causing pain that is requiring medication, the uncomfortable seating is distracting and experiencing numbness in your legs while driving are both clear a safety concern. The dealership, as well as Hyundai USA’s customer service, are refusing to take any action on these concerns. Instead they have given me the run around for 4 months saying I should contact customer service or the dealership, respectively. The cost to perform this work is nearly $2,000 since the parts are expensive and there is a fair amount of programming which needs to occur. Besides the cost the main issue is that the parts are not even available. I have been waiting on the parts since November 2023, my dealer says the next "production" date for the part is late June. I received this same type of response 2 times already, first for November, then February now June. Last I checked there are over 400 requests for these parts before me. At this point I drive an unsafe vehicle with no ABS or traction control, and I can’t even get it repaired . I also can’t use the truck for its intended purpose of towing. I’m looking for some assistance in this matter. There is also an active Class action lawsuit against Stellantis to provide relief for owners of these trucks, myself being one. So the dealership refused my free engine replacement because I don’t have all my oil change receipts and blamed me for the oil being out of the engine which is due to the faulty GDI 2.0 turbo engine the dealership has now had my car 300 days I’ve been walking to and from my work I can’t afford a new engine all I want is me free engine replacement I have all the articles printed of all the engine problem with the cars catching on fire or just stop running period .
