I have done everything I can as a consumer to handle my case and believed that they were going through the correct process but the dealer has informed me their own manufacturer and corporate is not following guidelines and handling recalls. The engine has failed due to a cylinder misfire that was caused by coolant leaking into the engine block. Mileage on my car is 85,918 Ford had a recall on the engine but the recall was for 84,000 miles or below. So, my car is over by 1,918 miles. Ford says they can’t do anything to offset the cost of getting a new engine.

I purchased my vehicle from the Mercedes Benz Dealership and received a recall letter in the mail stating that driver side deployment may occur. After receiving notice I brought the car to the dealership to get the recall repaired. I've been driving around with a false sense of security believing that this issue was repaired. I contacted Mercedes Benz and they did not issue any additional notices to inform customers of possible recall issue reoccurring due to manufacturer defects even after the repair was made. Additionally, I believe the driver side Takata airbag/inflators may have also been defective because of the injuries I incurred from the forceful explosive eruption of the airbag. In rare instances, if the steering column module is exposed to an electrostatic discharge, and if the steering column module clock spring is broken (due to wear), this could lead to an inadvertent deployment of the driver airbag. An inadvertent driver airbag deployment may cause a risk of injury to the driver and might increase the risk of a potential crash. A broken clock spring will illuminate the SRS warning light as well as display a warning message in the instrument cluster. I purchased a 2024 Pacifica hybrid new off the lot (~1200 miles on it at time of purchase). Two weeks into ownership I was exiting the highway and I heard a clunk and lost all engine power on the vehicle and a warning screen came up telling me to pull over. I was able to pull over in a "safe" location where cars were able to see me and pull around me. I could not move anywhere else as the car has
... no power when I hit the accelerator pedal. I sat in the car for a few minutes and after a google search it told me to try turning it back on to regain power to limp it home and that worked (Check engine light still on). I took it to the nearest dealer and they told me that the code went into a stored state and they couldn't do anything and for me to just keep driving it and keep an eye on it. Two days later I had it happen again and i just barely made it to the shoulder but almost got rear ended. I took it into the dealer and told them they have to fix it as I don't feel safe in this car nor do I feel safe having my wife drive my children in it. They said this was a common issue with the transmission that was supposedly fixed in the 2024 but from what they are seeing it looked to be the same issues as prior years which requires a new transmission. They told me Chrysler wouldn't warranty it until they could replicate the issue with their computer attached. They have put 1000 miles on the car but haven't been able to replicate it. I have called Chrysler multiple times and they have a case file open but aren't taking action until the dealer can recreate this issue. This is a huge safety risk and could cause a major accident if it happened in a construction zone or somewhere where we couldn't pull off safely! This needs to be addressed and force Chrysler to fix these issues because I know I'm not the only one with this issue (according to many online forums).Read more

The electric meter was pulled off my pole as is standard procedure in my county. Now I am begging for a new roof and a new 200 amp box and all new wiring so the county will allow the electric to be connected again. FMC did not design this car well. Manufacturer has stopped selling just the plate light plugs because they know the common issue with water damage, light failure and corrosion. The license plate lights are required by law to be working. Owners cannot continue replacing every year due to the manufacturers inadequate design. This impacts drivers with safety and on a legal level from law enforcement. There were no warning signals on my dash of this issue. I find this behavior to be outrageous. Additionally I have been told by my local dealer that it is not possible to determine possible failure beforehand as either it is working or it has failed. This is totally opposite from what I was told by Honda which was to schedule an appointment with a dealer to determine the status of the fuel pump so that they could special order one for replacement if it demonstrated potential failure. This entire issue reeks of poor and ineffective management of this situation by Honda, likely putting costs over safety putting me at substantial risk for this trip that was planned a year ago and likely will cost me my deposit and access privileges if canceled. As such, I am requesting that NHTSA hold Honda/Acura accountable for this disgraceful behavior, putting owners of their vehicles at substantial risk, and demand that they explore and take immediate actions to resolve the parts shortage in a reasonable amount of time.Read more

We were towed to a repair shop, and they discovered the high pressure line on the Hydroboost brake system had separated. The repair shop was able to find a replacement from Ford Motor Co., and repaired our motorhome. We had this exact component inspected 2 years ago when Ford issued an inspection report. We passed. This incident happened 2500 miles from home. When we arrived home, there was a letter from Ford (24N03) stating they were extending the "warranty" period on the high pressure line.Read more

I then had the vehicle towed again to my home where the dealer had told me it was a battery however I purchased a new battery from the dealer , and it made no difference approximately three days later I started the vehicle to roll up the window that was down and everything seem to work however, I put it in and proceeded forward. The same situation occurred once again with the statement system system failure, but this time parking assist downhill Was also showing on the dashboard warning indicator. I have replaced the motor transmission and turbo on this back in January 2024. Vehicle is still under warranty however this seems to be a problem if the vehicle is cutting out with very minimal warning and shutting down on the freeway, this can cause an accident with myself and anybody near me , because the vehicle and the braking system shut down. While backing out of steep driveway, the car computer screen blinked saying "updating" then screen went blank, lost power, I could not brake. We have a row of trees at the back of our driveway that stopped the car ( with damage) or else we would have rolled into our neighbors basement all.
