The driver's seat belt is locked and the retractor is not working without any reason. The front adaptive cruise control radar is also not working, along with the crucial blind spot sensor. Because of this, the vehicle cruise control (even without adaptive mode) is not working at all. This is a big safety issue and it is illegal to even drive this car without the seat belt working.

I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding a manufacturing defect in my vehicle and the refusal by Toyota to honor its responsibilities for repair despite clear acknowledgment of the issue. In October 2024, I discovered a small water leak from the roof of my vehicle. I attempted to schedule an appointment with the nearest Toyota dealer, but the timing of their available appointments confli
... cted with my work schedule, and it was not possible for me to get a timely appointment. In an effort to mitigate the leak, I tried to fix it myself until I could get the vehicle to the dealership. Upon visiting the dealership, I was informed that the issue was a manufacturing defect, but they refused to repair my vehicle because I had attempted to fix the issue myself. This worsened the leak, as they did not return my vehicle to its original condition. I was then informed that I would have to bear the full cost of repairs. I had no prior knowledge of any recall associated with my vehicle. After conducting my own research, I discovered that Toyota had acknowledged the manufacturing defect affecting my vehicle model but had not notified me or issued a recall. I reached out to Toyota’s customer service, and they assured me that they would approve the repair through the dealership. However, after approximately a month of waiting, Toyota informed me that they would not cover the costs of the repair, and they declined to take any further responsibility.Read more

On [XXX] I was backing out of our driveway on a clear day. Normally the 2024 Mercedes Benz GLE 450e would beep when I get near an object in the back. ... el base. Bothe the wine barrel and the mailbox were hit with the rear of the GLE. In the past the reverse sensors have worked sometimes fine and sometimes they did not work at all. I have brought the GLE to the local Mercedes Benz dealer. They replicated the fault(finding the reverse sensor was not working) and then remedied by installing a software patch and other work described in the work order that I can send to NHTSA. This may be an ongoing issue with the GLS models or other Mercedes models. It is too soon know for sure if the remedy by the local dealer has fixed the reverse sensors issue. To be determined in an exact amount, the GLE suffered thousand dollars(likely above $ 5.000) worth of damage in body work and repairs to the rear as a result of the accident. No injuries fortunately. Please investigate if this is a safety recall or other remedies may be needed for the GLE to keep pedestrians and drivers safe. Thank you. The hill hold assist on the MK8 VW GTI is overly aggressive, creating safety concerns. When starting on a hill, there is a 2-3 second delay where the car strongly holds the brakes, even after the brake light disengages. This could lead to rear-end collisions as following drivers might assume the car is moving. Additionally, in emergency situations, this delay prevents immediate forward movement,
... increasing risk. For manual transmission models, it also raises the likelihood of stalling, which can further compromise safety. This feature should be less aggressive, should not engage the brakes without the brake lights illuminated, and there should be an option to disable it entirely.Read more

Unexplained and dangerous transmission issue resulting in stalling while driving at low speeds, electronic malfunction, and check engine light which first occurred on 7/23/24 when the vehicle had roughly 3,500 miles. Vehicle was with dealer service from July 24-August 15, 2024. During that time, repair was allegedly attempted twice and vehicle returned to me on 8/15/24 after allegedly a replacemen
... t part was installed from Jeep/Chrysler HQ. Was told by the dealer service rep the issue was a known issue and other Wagoneers had been brought in with the same issue when I retrieved the vehicle. Dealer service could/would not confirm if issue was recreated but assume so since the vehicle was kept for so long. Sudden stalling and check engine light occurred again on 10/3/2024. Contacted dealer service on 10/3/2024; was told not to drive vehicle and a tow truck would be sent. Car towed to dealer on 10/4/2024 and returned again after alleged repair on 10/18. Issue occured again on 11/16. Have not brought it back to the dealer as I have filed for lemon law. Check engine light was on but went off a week later. On all three occasions, prior to the stalling and electrical malfunction, the car seems to be stuck in a low gear while driving and makes a grinding noise. The issue occurs when slowing down and has not happened at high speeds, luckily. Filing this with NHSTA as I see there is also an investigation into 2022 model for same issue.Read more

The vehicle suddenly spiked in RPMs, and suffered from a rattling noise. The following day after taking it to a known skilled service location, they advised to contact the dealership due to two open recalls. They found zero oil in the vehicle as well as issues with the valve seals. They then put the blame on the customer and did not acknowledge the engine recall that states clear problems with oil
... and engine valves resulting in a loss of oil and a failure in monitoring systems. At no time did the oil light show on the dash and there was no oil in the driveway where the vehicle has been parked. They advised us to contact the company for assistance. After doing so, the dealership, and Hyundai themselves have refused to acknowledge the engine issues or repair the car under the two known open recalls. We have spoke with reps from both the dealership and the company an have received no assistance in reclaiming confidence in the vehicle or Hyundai as a whole. This happened in September 2024 and there is no resolution in sight here in December. How a customer can be expected to repair at their own cost during a known recall with a class action lawsuit is ludicrous.Read more

GM issued Special coverage N192210240 for repair/replacement of the evaporative emissions purge valve because it may not fully close. The special coverage states that the dealer is to replace the part at no cost to the customer as necessary until 150,000 miles or 11/12/2026 whichever occurs first. Since owning the vehicle in question I have had this particular part replaced three (3) times, appr
... oximately every 20,000 miles. Each time this particular part fails my check engine light is illuminated, my vehicle stalls immediately after refueling, my garage and home quickly fill with emission fumes upon starting the vehicle, and the vehicle idles rough when stopping. The GM dealership replaced the part the first 2 times it failed at no cost to me stating that it was covered under GM Special Coverage, but the third and most recent time refused to honor the special coverage. They, instead, stated that I had to pay $189.99 for a diagnostic in addition to the cost of the repair despite the fact that my vehicle was still within the special coverage parameters and the special coverage bulletin states "as necessary" . The dealership stated that the special coverage was only a one-time use, and I was to pay for repairs each additional occurrence. There is clearly an issue with this part, and GM has acknowledged that by offering the special coverage. This coverage should be valid for the entire time stated because this is clearly a faulty part.Read more
