Nov. 7, 2025 - After returning home around 4pm, I parked the car in my garage, and entered my home. Due to the sound of the fan motor which stays on after you shut off the car, it is possible that the engine was still running when I thought it was off. Please note that my garage is attached to my home. Around 1am I awoke and went into the bedroom on the far side of my home which sits directly ab
... ove my garage. When I entered this room I heard a noise, like some kind of motor but at the time I had no idea what this was. As I walked through my home, went downstairs and neared the doorway to my garage when I realized the loud noise was coming from my garage. It was not only frightening but extremely concerning and come to find out my Mercedes was running, in fact it had been running since I got home earlier in the afternoon. Please note that one of the most critical things that happened is that upon opening the door to the garage I was exposed to severe carbon monoxide fumes. I discovered the car sitting there, running, for no reason at all, the outside was very hot to the touch and I panicked. I was breathing in fumes that could affect my life! I ran to the kitchen, grabbed a fan, opened the garage doors and immediately went upstairs to see if my daughter was okay. As you know carbon monoxide can kill you and I did not know why in HECK this was happening. - This car is still relatively new with low miles. - This vehicle is also supposed to be equipped with significant safety features and it is difficult to exit the car without alarms sounding and appearing on the dash telling you the car is still on. - Mercedes, however, already made me take this car in twice to address multiple recalls affecting safety! I also had it serviced not less than 3 weeks ago. - Mercedes is completely skirting/ignoring the critical issues with this vehicle and has sent me a FORM letter denying assistance. There could have been 2 fatalities and I have been ill since this happened.Read more

Last month, my 2013 Subaru Impreza Sport with only 67k that I bought brand new had a blinking AT (Automatic Transmission) Oil Temp light and three other lights were lit on the panel. I am writing to express a serious safety concern regarding the Mercedes-Benz GLK 350, particularly related to the fuel pump system under the rear passenger area. It has come to my attention that the fuel pumps in these vehicles emit a strong, unpleasant odor every time the car is refueled. As a safety engineer, I can confirm that this poses a significant risk to both the driver and passengers. I
... have personally experienced a similar issue with a 2010 Mercedes-Benz C300, where the pumps were constructed with a substandard plastic material that, over time, will melt and start dripping from the top of the pump. This degradation of materials significantly compromises the integrity of the system, creating a serious hazard that could, in the worst case, lead to catastrophic outcomes, including fire or explosion. I strongly urge Mercedes-Benz to investigate and address this issue as a matter of priority. The potential consequences of ignoring this matter are severe, and a permanent solution must be found before any further risk is posed to the safety of vehicle occupants. Thank you for your immediate attention to this critical safety concern. I look forward to your prompt response and the implementation of necessary corrective actions. We purchased our 2018 GMC Acadia, used with 15,798 miles on the odometer, on [XXX] from John Wiesner, Inc. On [XXX], with 20,344 miles on the odometer, we began experiencing a "Shift to Park" message when trying to turn the vehicle off, even though the vehicle shifter indicated that the vehicle was in park. Though the vehicle would turn off, we could not clear the "Shift to Park" message or stop t

A Wiesner dealership confirmed the problem, determined that a switch in the shifter assembly was not grounding, and replaced the transmission control assembly under warranty. All was well until early 2024, at approximately 47,500 miles, when we began experiencing the same problem. The dealer said we must pay $500+ for a repair and that if we failed to get the problem repaired we risked being unable to get the vehicle into park and unable to turn off the vehicle. Being unable to stop the "Shift to Park" message or to stop the audible alarm at the very least will run the battery down and being unable to put the vehicle in park or turn it off risks an injury to us or others. I again found this odd as the car was already running and the message could not be acknowledged with the OK button on the steering wheel. I was 2 blocks from my office so I continued on to get the car out of traffic so it wouldn't be a safety hazard. 1 block later the message disappeared and I was stopped at the left turn lane light when the Car completely died. All lights and indicators came on the dashboard and the car was completely dead. A kind person pushed my car out of the street so I would not be in danger or blocking traffic. These 2 indicators on the way to the office where the first indicators that ever were shown prior to the car becoming inoperable. I had the vehicle towed to my certified MB mechanic and he diagnosed the issue within an hour of receiving the car. The drive Unit was damaged due to an internal leak in the drive unit. I contact MBUSA to file a complaint about the car and they notified me I had to have the car diagnosed by a MB Dealership. I had the car towed to MB of Laguna Niguel and they charged me 300 for initial Diagnosis. On October 3, 2024 I was informed by the service rep the car needed additional diagnostics to determine the issue fully. They needed an additional 590.00 to run the diagnostics. On October 7, 2024 I was informed the repairs would be 19,000.00 to repair this car that we only paid 20,000 for. This is a complete design defect and should be covered. I was on the highway with moderate traffic. This is a common issue among Honda Accords with the 1.5 engines.

My vehicle was purchased in 2021. It is a 2018 Honda Accord Touring model. The engine is a 1.5TRG. My current mileage is 88,405. About three weeks ago, my mom drove my car to the store and the dash lit up. ... I've driven a car with a blown head gasket. It smoked, temperature gage would show that the vehicle was hot, etc. My car never showed any signs that the vehicle was exhibiting or about to run hot or any other engine issues. At a later time, maybe a week later, I attempted to drive the car and it sputtered and barely wanted to take off. I parked it. My service appointment was 12/13/24. I paid $200 to have them diagnose and tell me the issue. I drove my vehicle to the dealership thinking that this could have been a sensor issue. Had I known that this was the problem, I would have had it towed there. The vehicle is now at my home parked. I researched this issue and from what I've seen, there are several consumers that are experiencing the issue. I own a 2014 KIA Soul that experienced a similar issue. Hyundai/KIA performed the repair FREE of charge and also provided me with a rental. I am currently still financing this Honda Accord and I think that it is completely unfair to the consumer to pay upwards of $4K for something that is clearly a manufactures issue. Aside from replacing the gasket, they also included replacing the spark plugs, timing chain, etc. This was my dream car but has since been a nightmare knowing that not only do I have to continue to pay the note but to pay $4K for repairs that aren't my fault. I maintain the oil changes for the vehicle and any other recommended services. Someone needs to hold them accountable to stand by their product.Read more

The torque converter with the 6L80 transmission went and destroyed the transmission in my 2015 Silverado. Which is going to cost me thousands of dollars to fix. With the 10's of thousands of people affected, Chevy should of done a recall on the torque converter and/or transmission. There were no signs/symptoms, the truck started shaking like I was driving over rumble strips, no check engine light
... . I was able to get it to a mechanic immediately and it sits there unusable at this time.Read more

I own a 2018 Jeep Compass. My car has been stalling and going dead when stopping at stop signs/lights, when slowing to turn, and when entering on-ramps to a highway. Other issues that have occurred simultaneously (but not necessarily all at once) include, start/stop not working, the parking brake engaging when stopping, sound system unavailable message (despite that the radio works properly) and t
... he car does not restart immediately when hitting ignition. These issues have been ongoing for approximately one month. The problem initially started with the parking brake engaging when coming to a stop. In order to disengage the brake, the car had to be turned off and then back on again. Then the car started to stall when slowing and stopping. In the latest occurrence, my car stalled 3 separate times within a 10 mile drive. On the 3rd stall, we were turning left to enter the highway when the car stalled suddenly. The car behind us had to slam on their brakes and swerve to miss hitting us. We took our car to the dealership on December 17th. At that time they replaced the cars main battery, but audio system unavailable message remained on, to which the service advisor said we should probably replace the radio, despite that the radio is functioning properly. We took the car with us December 18th. In less than 48 hours the car was stalling at almost every stop again. We returned the car to our dealership on December 26th, where it remains as of January 1. The dealership said, via phone, they have been unable to pinpoint the problem, at this time. It is extremely dangerous for a car to stall when it should otherwise be in motion. This puts myself, my son, our passengers and those around us in danger. This is an issue that warrants immediate attention and we welcome an inspection if someone could just identify the problem and fix it before someone is hurt.Read more
