It was ordered and purchased in March 2024. The manufacturer failed to notify me by mail. upon checking recalls on NHTSA and Cadillac’s recall websites, it appears General Motors failed to include my car in the recall altogether.

Evidently, on 10/15/2024, my car wasn’t braking properly, the dashboard lights for ABS, Brake, engine, and traction control were on, and the 6 months old car had to be towed as it wasn’t drivable due to failure to brake. The dealership informed me the eBCM was the issue and required repairs. It is very concerning my car wasn’t included in this safety recall. I drive my 3 young children daily and I would’ve never driven the car had I known a recall was issued a month prior. Then on other occasions, while using the cruise control, the vehicle will accelerate to 80 MPH on a highway with a 25 MPH speed limit. Then, at other times, while using the cruise control set to 50 MPH, on a highway which has a 50 MPH speed limit, the car will reduce to 10 MPH . All of these scenarios are VERY DANGEROUS as you can well imagine. On many other occasions, the screen map will become blurry & distorted causing confusion as to my whereabouts. On a side note, we had an usually warm day [XXX]. here in New York City of about 55° and while riding around NY City, the air conditioner was not cooling properly and was brought in for service shortly afterwards for that issue as well as all of the screen issues. The head unit and stereo system will play static non stop at the highest volume possible. Turning the radio off, the sound off, etc. nothing stops it. It is dangerous, you can not hear anything and it is extremely distracting. The static being played through all the speakers at top volume with no way to make it stop is not safe to be driving with and is liable to drive someone mad.

I repeated that the car stops ones in a while when the temperature light is on inside the dashboard and the engine shuts off. He told me if the check engine light turns on then I bring it back. I show the code reading but the same thing he said. I left and went back home and suddenly I get stranded again; I got stock in the middle of the road for 3 to 4 minutes. I start the car and suddenly the car starts and find the nearest place to pull over. I let it call down for couple of hours and start again, the car starts and try to go back home. When I was in the interstate hwy. My car engine shut off, so I quickly pull over, but I was having a hard time to turn the wheel. I believe that this is very unsafe and should have Mercedes Dealer has to repair this issue. So [XXX]I’m Driving down [XXX] heading east a big Truck flys off of [XXX] slams into side of my SUV Destroys every panel on passengers side of vehicle The Acadia mine with all the curtain air bags in the a pillar in ceiling on the front and back seats on top Side and bottom side not one deploys not even on the A pillar where rear passengers door is ripped off. I was knocked out if anyone was in them 2 seats like my 2 kids that are always with me [XXX] they could have been killed no safety bags deployed? I basically begged for auto to be repaired of electrical issues when only 2000 miles on it with 900 miles on it GMC I called every week for almost 2 years no help now this! I was injured have not much memory of accident. This auto needs be taken off road I deserve like I asked for when new same car just without issues I could have been killed but no one cared.
