I was driving home, about a 30 min drive, in heavy rain. Once I got home, I left my car running to run inside. When I came back out the car was shaking and idling funny. A "low steering power" diagnostic came up and then also a parking malfunction. I turned the car off. It would barely turn over and still multiple diagnostic lights on. I pulled in into the garage and after sitting off for about 1

On multiple occasions the hazard mitigation system has picked up on hazards that aren't there causing rapid braking AND steering over correction. Currently the button on my vehicle that has an image representing the ability to turn the system off doesn't appear to be connected or working. I have always left the system on as it felt "safer" when I bought the vehicle new. I haven't even tried to tur
... n it off until recently when the system seemed to start malfunctioning. Today (11/19/2025) while traveling the interstate for a routine doctor appointment the adaptive cruise control randomly shut off as I was driving multiple times. If I changed lanes and a vehicle was in front of me the adaptive cruise control would just shut off with no warning or alert rather than adjust the speed as the system is designed to do. Once I exited from the interstate at a traffic light (green, turning left) the lane assist overcorrected, the steering wheel got stiff and it was jerked into the other lane almost causing a collision. This is very concerning as I was very fortunate not to have been involved in a collision today thankfully the other driver was paying attention and evaded. Each incident there has been ZERO warning. There have been a couple times recently where the system randomly fails and says there is a problem, but within minutes come right back on and operates properly until it randomly malfunctions again. This has occurred very sporadically over the past 6 months with incidents rapidly increasing over the past 3 days to the point I am very nervous to carry my children in this vehicle any longer. This vehicle was purchased as the primary vehicle for our family and our purchase was strongly influenced by Honda's "safety", but now that's very much in question as I understand many other Honda owners are experiencing the same Honda system issues. We are in the process now of having it scheduled with Honda, but this should not be acceptable from any manufacturer.Read more

1. The vehicle experienced a fuel injector failure, which is part of the engine fuel delivery system. This failure appears connected to an open Fuel System Control Unit Software Update Recall (Campaign 2024080006) that has been open since May 2024 but was not performed on my vehicle, despite the vehicle being serviced at the dealership in January 2025 for other recall-related updates. The failed i
... njector is still available for inspection upon request. 2. The vehicle began exhibiting symptoms of fuel system malfunction while driving, including rough idling, hesitation, and loss of power. A malfunctioning injector can cause the engine to misfire, stall unexpectedly, or run unpredictably, which creates a high-risk situation in traffic. This placed me, my passengers, and other drivers at risk, especially during acceleration or when merging into traffic. 3. Yes. The issue was diagnosed and confirmed by the Mercedes-Benz dealership, which stated that the injector had mechanically failed. The dealership also noted the open recall for the fuel system software update but claimed it was unrelated. I am seeking clarification because the timing and symptoms suggest there may be a connection. 4. The vehicle has been inspected only by the Mercedes-Benz dealership. Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) has been contacted regarding the issue, but my case was closed without resolution and is currently awaiting review for reopening. MBUSA has not yet inspected the vehicle or the failed component directly. 5.Prior to the injector failure, the vehicle displayed engine hesitation, rough idling, and intermittent performance issues. Eventually, a check engine light illuminated. These symptoms began before the manufacturer-installed software update, and the issue appears to have worsened afterward.Read more

Vehicle: 2021 Tesla Model S Long Range VIN: [XXX] I am reporting multiple safety-related defects that existed at delivery or developed shortly thereafter, and Tesla has refused to diagnose or repair them under warranty. These defects create an unsafe driving condition and risk of loss of control or collision. Defect Summary: 1.Alignment Defect at Delivery: On the day I bought the car, the steer
... ing wheel pulled to the left and felt unstable. I reported this immediately to Tesla. They dismissed it as “normal.” 2.Premature Tire Wear: Within months, the left tire wore down to the steel belts on the left side while the right side had normal wear. An independent shop confirmed this was caused by suspension/bushing issues, not road damage. 3.Suspension/Bushing Failure: A third-party Tesla-certified shop confirmed that the suspension components are bent/tweaked and require replacement for safe driving. Tesla refused to inspect these components properly. 4.Unlatched Rear Seat at Delivery: The rear seat was delivered unlatched, which is a major safety hazard during braking or collision. 5.Broken Glass Under Rear Seat: Broken glass was found under the rear seat cushion at delivery, raising concerns about vehicle history and delivery inspection standards. 6.New Defect While in Tesla’s Custody: On Nov 17, 2025, moisture accumulated inside the left taillight while the vehicle was parked outdoors at Tesla’s Stockton facility. This can cause electrical shorting or lighting malfunction. Tesla’s Response: Tesla has repeatedly refused to inspect the suspension properly, dismissed my complaints, and produced an inaccurate service invoice that did not reflect what was discussed. They told me we are “at an impasse.” These defects pose a serious safety risk (tire blowout, loss of control, lighting malfunction). I request NHTSA investigate these issues as they may indicate broader problems with Tesla’s suspension, alignment, and delivery inspection processes. I purchased this vehicle from Capital Auto Auction, and it was listed as having only a “minor engine stutter” and that it “runs and drives.” However, within 5 minutes of driving away from the auction, the vehicle became unsafe and experienced multiple immediate safety failures. The vehicle developed a loud whining noise, lost acceleration, and would not move even with the accelerator press
... ed. The check engine light and red battery light came on immediately even though these warnings were not disclosed at the auction listing. The car became unable to drive and created a hazardous situation in traffic. I had to call AAA roadside assistance, and the vehicle had to be towed. A Nissan dealership inspected the vehicle and documented that it has serious safety and drivability concerns, including likely transmission failure and possible electrical system tampering. When attempting to diagnose the vehicle, the OBD2 diagnostic port would not power on, which indicates a potential electrical wiring issue or fuse failure. I also discovered signs that the electrical system may have been tampered with prior to the sale, including a blown fuse and wiring abnormalities. The vehicle shows multiple unsafe conditions: * Loss of acceleration in traffic * Sudden transmission failure * Electrical malfunction * Dashboard warning lights not previously disclosed * Diagnostic port not functioning * Battery warning light activation * Car becoming undriveable within minutes of use These issues were not disclosed at the time of purchase and present clear safety hazards, as the vehicle could not accelerate or maintain speed in traffic. I am filing this complaint to report the unsafe condition of the vehicle and the immediate failure that occurred right after purchase. This poses a danger not only to the driver but to other motorists on the road.Read more

My vehicle has a recall for a an ABS control module which affects, the ABS system, traction control, and cruise control system. The dealership has acknowledged the recall of the ABS module multiple times and indicated the manufacturer has not made a fix available for nearly a year. Good morning ! I am an owner of a 2013 ML 350 . I live in San Diego ,CA ,92103 . I was driving my car on [XXX] and it was raining a lot . After around 30 miles I got to my destination parking area and my car died 20 feet away from the parking zone .I tried to reignite it but it wouldn’t start . I checked it with a OBD2 scanner and it was indicating a code U0109 - Lost communication with fuel
... pump control module . After looking into solutions and reasons for the issue online I came across a post regarding an existing recall with NHTSA with ID 22v955 regarding water intrusion in the spare wheel well portion of the trunk( The Wheel well is not water proofed and doesn’t have a drain port for water to escape ) . I proceeded with inspecting the area and of course it was full of water . The fuel pump control module is located in that area and it was damaged which shorted it and cause the malfunction of the vechile and the error code U0109 stated above . Tried calling Mercedes Benz but they confirmed about that specific recall but said my VIN is not part of it and I should file a claim or complain with you . I will attach proof and pictures of the water and the damaged component. My car now need to be towed and fixed on my expense because of Mercedes Benz negligence… Hopefully you can add my car to this recall and when this happens I would get some kind of reimbursement… Thank you for your time and understanding. We have a 2014 dodge ram 1500 SLT with a 5.7 hemi. I was driving down the road and stopped at a red light and the truck shut off and wouldn't start again we had to tow it home. We had a mechanic look at the vehicle and run the codes for the truck to find out what was wrong it was a misfire in cylinder 3. We called a few mechanic shops in town to get other opinions and they all said the same thing
... its more than likely the lifters or the camshaft is bad and its a very common problem with this model truck with the engine and it would cost over $5,000 to fix it. I spoke to the dodge dealership in our town they said the same thing its more than likely the lifters they see it all the time and its around $5,000 plus to fix. Why is this allowed to happen if so many people are having this specific issue with this specific truck and this specific problem with the engine and cost us thousands to fix. This is a major safety issue what if the engine stopped while I was driving this could cause an accident. If you look it up online as well everyone is saying the same thing their problem was with the lifters. We haven't been able to get it fixed because of the cost and the cost to tow it to a mechanic. We just have it sitting in our driveway and when I found out so many others have this same issue something needs to be done.Read more

Premature tire wear. OEM tires worn out after 32000 miles. Dealership states that tires are worn out and need to be replaced. Tires wearing out this fast indicates a problem in the suspension design of the vehicle that could lead to decreased traction and handling and contribute to an accident. Dealership/manufacturer are offering no explanation or solution to the premature wear issue.
