Component/System: Engine cooling and lubrication system. Coolant was found mixing with engine oil (milky oil), indicating internal engine failure (I was informed it could be oil cooler/housing, thermostat, head gasket, or related components). Vehicle is currently at an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealership and available for inspection. The front left inner lining of my front break pad also "failed"
... inspection and the other 3 front break pads say "caution" and I never received a notification or warning about my breaks. Safety Risk: Coolant contamination of engine oil can cause sudden engine failure or loss of power without warning, creating a serious safety risk while driving, especially at highway speeds. There was no indication that engine oil was mixing with coolant, check engine light failed to illuminate/ no diagnostic warning illuminated. The condition was discovered incidentally during routine maintenance, which prevented any opportunity for corrective action prior to the failure. Confirmation: The condition was confirmed by an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealership during routine maintenance. The dealership stated the failure was not caused by owner misuse.Inspection: Vehicle has been inspected by an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealership (manufacturer representative). No police or insurance inspection occurred, as there was no accident or external event. Warnings/Symptoms: No check engine light or diagnostic warning ever illuminated. The issue was discovered incidentally after I received a low battery voltage notification and a routine maintenance reminder indicating service was due in approximately 1,000 miles, which I arranged promptly. The manufacturer will not perform full diagnostic teardown to determine the root cause unless I pay approximately $3,000 out of pocket. My premium plug-in hybrid SUV (RAV4 Prime XSE) has been continuously grounded at my local authorized Toyota Service Center since December 29, 2025, due to Safety Recall 25TA08 (NHTSA Campaign 25V-595). The 12.3-inch digital instrument panel in my vehicle had failed completely, removing access to the speedometer, system warnings, tire pressure alerts, and other critical information, which poses a s
... evere risk of crash or injury. As of today February 5th, 2026, my vehicle has been out of service for over 37 consecutive days with no available remedy or estimated repair date. This constitutes an unreasonable delay in repair and a failure by the manufacturer to remedy a safety defect in a timely manner as required by the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act (49 U.S.C. § 30120), to my best understanding. This grounding has created a severe family hardship primarily because this is our only vehicle. We are a family of three, including a [XXX] toddler with daily transportation needs. Toyota’s attempts to mitigate our hardship have been substandard: (1) Initially, I was provided an economy SUV (Corolla Cross) which I was forced to return on January 16th because the dealership allowed the temporary registration to expire; (2) I was then downgraded to an economy sedan (Corolla) which was unfit for local winter conditions (snow and ice) and failed to meet the safety and transportation needs of my toddler; and (3) Only on February 5th was I offered a gas-powered RAV4. Despite owning a premium plug-in hybrid, I have now been forced to pay unfairly for gasoline for 37+ days due to Toyota's inaction. Because my vehicle is unsafe to drive and the manufacturer cannot provide a timely fix, I am formally requesting a prompt manufacturer action in the form of a prompt repair or a fair repurchase (buyback) to resolve this ongoing safety and financial burden. While accelerating up to 40 mph the vehicle shudders with every shift up to that point after that speed is encountered any speed above that no more shudder. Ford should do something to fix a known issue.

While driving on a highway, the vehicle intermittently suffers a sudden loss of engine power during acceleration, accompanied by a flashing check engine light. The most serious event occurred while merging into traffic when the vehicle failed to accelerate normally and briefly lost power, creating a risk of being struck by faster-moving vehicles. Pulling over and restarting temporarily restores no
... rmal acceleration, but the problem recurs. The malfunction appears consistent with an engine misfire/powertrain fault. An OBD scan has shown misfire-related diagnostic codes (random/multiple misfire and a cylinder-specific misfire). The condition is intermittent and often occurs after approximately 10–45 minutes of driving. The vehicle remains available for inspection. The vehicle has been presented to authorized service departments multiple times. Dealers reported they were unable to duplicate the issue during road testing and no lasting repair has been completed. The manufacturer has been contacted and the vehicle has been evaluated through authorized service channels, but the underlying cause has not been identified. This remains a safety hazard because it reduces acceleration in traffic. Incident list: • 10/25/2025 (~12:25 PM; ~3,108 miles): Loss of power while merging; flashing CEL; restart temporarily resolved. • 10/27/2025–11/04/2025: Intermittent recurrence, usually lasting a few minutes then clearing. • 11/05/2025 (~8:01 AM; ~3,641 miles): Flashing CEL and misfire/loss-of-power symptoms; taken for service. • 11/26/2025 (~10:06 AM): Another episode consistent with the same pattern. • 12/17/2025 (~8:21 AM): Another episode, including during travel to a service visit. • Ongoing: Episodes after ~10–45 minutes; sometimes requires restart to restore drivability. Observed codes: P0300 and P0301. Safety risk: loss of power during acceleration/merging increases risk of rear-end or side-impact collision.Read more

Due to a lack of available parts for this recall, the vehicle repairs will take up to 30 plus days before the parts arrive. On top of that, there is a waiting list for the vehicles that need to be fixed. This means, I will be without a vehicle for a lengthy amount of time. They don’t have enough loaners vehicles and I cannot afford to purchase a new car at this time. This recall issue has caused
... people lots of unneeded stress, maintenance cost, and loss of wages. Ford needs to be held accountable on this issues. Additionally, I took the vehicle to a Ford Dealership (LaFayette Ford) on/about the 2 of May 2025. There were two recalls on the vehicle at that time. The fixed one recall. They informed that, there was nothing they could do with recall 23S64 until the vehicle was having issues. They did not inform me nor give me the option to get the issues corrected at the time or be placed on a waiting list once the parts were available. I would have placed the vehicle on the waiting to have the recall repaired once parts were available and to avoid the current situation that we are experiencing. On the 30th of January 2026, the vehicle stopped on me after displaying low engine pressure despite having oil. There were no oil leaks detected, the oil cap was seated properly, and the oil stick had/has the adequate amount of oil. The vehicle will not start, make a funny noise, and the engine vibrates the entire cab of the vehicle. The video I attached displays the sound the vehicle makes now. The high-voltage battery on my 2022 Nissan Leaf is subject to Recall 25V655. The recall notice says that the battery cells can develop excessive lithium deposits, which increases electrical resistance and can cause rapid battery heating during Level 3 fast charging. Nissan instructs owners not to use Level 3 charging at all until a “remedy” is available. The issue is that the remedy described
... by Nissan is not an actual repair of the battery defect. Nissan states it will install software that monitors for “state-of-charge fluctuation” and, if detected, will prevent the vehicle from restarting or recharging in order to avoid a thermal incident. This means the defect inside the battery cells is still present, and the car may disable itself if the defect begins to appear. The recall materials also state there is no warning before overheating occurs. This creates multiple safety concerns: • The underlying battery defect remains uncorrected. • The vehicle can become immobilized (unable to restart or recharge) if the software detects the condition. • Loss of Level 3 charging capability affects the ability to travel safely or plan charging when needed. • A battery fire risk exists during Level 3 charging if the defect is not detected in time. Nissan’s documents state that the software is meant only to prevent the “progression” of a thermal incident, not to repair the defective battery. I am concerned that my vehicle contains a known hazardous defect that has not been physically repaired and that the software-only response is inadequate to ensure safety. I am filing this complaint so NHTSA is aware that the remedy being offered does not address the internal battery defect itself and may leave owners exposed to continued safety and reliability risks.Read more

While driving at highway speeds (55–73 mph), the vehicle has repeatedly and unexpectedly applied the brakes on its own and on at least one occasion experienced a loss of power. These events occurred without any vehicles, pedestrians, or obstacles present, and without any driver input. Road and weather conditions did not warrant braking. On multiple occasions, the vehicle suddenly decelerated wh

On one occasion, the vehicle experienced a loss of power while driving at highway speed, requiring immediate driver intervention to avoid a dangerous situation. These incidents make the vehicle feel unpredictable and unsafe to operate as intended. I regularly transport family members, and these failures place my safety and the safety of others at significant risk of serious injury or death. The vehicle has been inspected by an authorized Genesis dealership on two separate occasions. Despite extended road testing, the dealership has stated they were unable to reproduce the issue and no permanent repair has been performed. The manufacturer has been notified, and the defect remains unresolved. No warning lights or messages were present prior to the incidents. My vehicle went in for recall 73B at the end of August 2025. On the latest visit (4th since 73B recall) it's been at the dealership for 31 days and counting. The dealership is waiting on Chrysler to figure out a fix for the van. The vehicle has over 50 stored messages. This recall was supposed to monitor the hybrid battery for early indications for a fire, but according to the original recall all batteries are assumed to have the manufacturing defect that leads to spontaneous fires. This van is unsafe, and we never know when it will work correctly. The van operated normally before the recall software was installed.Read more

I decided to turn off the vehicle and a few hours later turned it back on and I was able to drive. The third issue was just last week January 19, 2026 I turned on vehicle to exit my garage and again the car would not move back or forward. I tried changing gears multiple times for about 20 minutes but car never moved it seemed completely stuck. The following day I had to get the car towed to House Of Imports, and it has been at dealer since then. Vehicle owner mentioned to service rep, that he lives from parents about 150 miles away and had the vehicle owner stopped at gas station in between, the vehicle owner would have been stranded without any access to a dealer to fix this critical safety issue. Vehicle owner then advised service rep this issue should have been elevated as critical safety recall issue and that a complaint would be filed with NHTSA.
