Vehicle brakes suddenly while driving even when there are no cars or obstacles of any kind in front or even in the distance. This has led to several events where I was almost rear-ended because of how strongly and violently the car was breaking on the highway. On February 23rd 2023 I picked up my new 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe from conway Jeep in South Carolina . On the way home I noticed my foot kept slipping off the accelerator pedal and wasn't sure what was causing it. When I arrived home I noticed the accelerator pedal was made from a slick piece of plastic and didn't have a rubber cover or anti slip material installed like the brake pedal had.
... I contacted the jeep dealership and asked if jeep forgot to install one at the factory and if so please have one sent out. A representative spoke with their techs to order a new one and they stated jeep doesn't offer that part nor was it on the entire pedal assembly to order. They ended up checking all their grand cherokee 4xes on the lot and they all came like that. Jeep corporate office was notified on Feb 28th 2023 reporting my safety concern about having a pedal without any type of grip to help prevent a person's foot from slipping could cause a vehicle accident. The representative stated jeep does not make a part for that nor were they planning on fixing this safety issue and I should just go to an auto parts store to find something for it. To my knowledge every other vehicle that jeep currently manufactures has rubber material on the accelerator pedal. I also thought manufacturers were required by law to have some type of anti slip material on the accelerator, brakes, and clutch.Read more

My Ford Explorer had a rear suspension toe link Recall, and in December I took my vehicle to the Ford dealership to get it fixed. At that time, they did a full vehicle inspection, fixed the part, and told me everything looked great. Shortly after the service, we had a snow storm, and my SUV would fishtail in Icy/snowy conditions. Every time it'd snow, it made me so scared to drive, because I'd ess
... entially not have control over my vehicle. The issue wasn't present when the roads were clear. Within the two months since that service, my back tires have gone completely bald, down to the wires. I recently got in a car accident because my car wouldn't complete a turn and ended up t-boning a Tundra on a residential street. Luckily I was going slow so the damage to the other vehicle was minimal, and no obvious injuries have resulted from the accident. I was able to remove some of the plastic pieces around the fender, in order to still drive it, so I took it to the Ford dealership that originally serviced my car for an inspection. Now that the dealership has inspected my vehicle, they're claiming that it's not on their liability and that they're not responsible for any of the damage. Now the alignment is off on both the front and back, and the strut is bent (whether that's from the accident or not, we don't know). The Manager admitted that when servicing my vehicle they were only allowed to perform a rear alignment, but a front alignment was never suggested or offered to me. When aligning a vehicle (especially in the winter) the whole vehicle should be aligned, not just half. They of course claim zero liability or responsibility, even though I was having issues with it fishtailing shortly after it being serviced at their shop, for a part on the suspension, which affects alignment.Read more

I just purchased car two weeks ago. Got home and tried to familiarize myself with the car. Very intricate car with lots of technology. It is a mainframe on wheels. Discount Tires did their inspection and called us back the next day......notifying us Kuhmo Tires WOULD NOT honor warranty because we where a third party. I asked them why their own warranty card on Kuhmo Tires (size 235/55 R19 101H) carries a 60,000 warranty and our Audi had app 13,000 miles how they could deny coverage.
