Twice in front of the house and the 3rd time (when it was towed) I was far from home. The mechanic explained that the car had sensors indicating the car was being stolen so that is why it didn't start. That make no sense! I had the key. I had been driving it that day. It was working fine. A brand new 2023 car should be reliable. It should start when the owner has the key fob in hand. Shutting the car down for hours is a system failure. Please investigate.Read more

For the next 12 miles of driving the power steering never engaged and turning required significant force. While charging at a supercharger the error on the dashboard stating that power steering was not available persisted. Upon departure the error message went away and the power steering worked again. The manufacturer was contacted as the vehicle was under warranty. It was determined that no repair was needed after the power steering once again began to work, but the failure created a significant risk to the five vehicle occupants at the time of failure.Read more

According to a ford representative my vehicle should have been included in the 21N03 recall but was not. Because of this the cam phasers are failing and I have to repair them. Fords warranty expired 1 January 2023 but my millage is low for the vehicle. Mu vehicle no longer qualified for the repairs. Even tho the defective parts did fail under 65k miles.

He found that the tab gusset bracelet was cracked ( the part of the frame that holds the A-Arm in place). He said that the vehicle was not safe to drive and needs a new frame. I am being told by the Honda dealership technician that the issue is a $2000.00 sensor that must be replaced but however is on back order. The vehicle started to suddenly move by itself on the right side. A minute later, the vehicle moved a second time on the right without any apparent reason. The third time, the vehicle suddenly accelerated and made a sharp turn to the right. The turn to the right was so sharp that the vehicle made a 180 degrees turn and was projected on the side of the road. The vehicle stopped in a ditch and engine stopped. I wasn't braking or turning the wheel when the vehicle started to act-up. I didn't feel any movement in the steering wheel and I couldn't control the brake or direction. I restarted the engine and the brakes and directions were back up again. I contacted Mercedes who wants to inspect the vehicle but didn't set a date yet. Sheriff arrived on the spot less than a minute after the crash (was driving back home after his shift). He confirmed no collision with another vehicle, no marks of tires on the road, no standing water on the road or any other reason for the crash. No ticket was given to me by the sheriff.Read more

In numerous incidents, I have attempted to signal other drivers using my horn in an emergency situation. In one such incident, I was in the left lane, traveling at approx. 40 miles per hour when a driver who was stopped in the right lane began switching into my lane. I went to honk to indicate my presence, but the capacitive touch button on the upper right of the wheel was difficult to locate in

In another incident, I was traveling through an intersection at approx. 50 miles per hour, and an oncoming vehicle attempted to make a left turn as they did not see me (presumably). I attempted to honk, but again, the horn button was very difficult to location in such a quick, high-stakes emergency situation. It is my opinion that Tesla's current design for their Model X and Model S vehicles, where the horn can only be initiated via a small capacitive touch button, represents a safety hazard to owners of these vehicles, as well as the general public who may be interacting with these vehicles on the road. Tesla has prioritized design over safety, and it is only a matter of time before lives are lost through easily preventable collisions due to the lack of a standard warning device such as a horn.Read more

They said it is the tires and they replaced the right front tire.
