I purchased my 2025 Palomino Columbus RV in February of 2025. I have towed it less than 600 miles, so including the delivery from the factory the RV has less than 2,000 miles. While inspecting the RV I noticed that the wheel spacing between the front and rear tires was different from side to side. The passenger (right) side was 5" but the driver's (left) side was 8.5". I inspected the suspension a
... nd found that the left side rear axle had slipped back on the leaf spring. The leaf spring centering pin had sheared allowing the axle to move back. The u-bolt hardware was tight. I did notify the RV and axle manufacturers. The RV manufacturer, Forest River, told me to contact the axle manufacturer, [XXX] , who in response had offered to provide two new leaf springs and pay for an hour of labor to have the springs replaced, which I believe is fair. I decided to upgrade the suspension but thought this was a very unsafe issue that should be recorded to ensure it was a one off issue and not systemic. I have no complaints regarding either of the manufacturers handling of the issue. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)Read more

After a hard braking session because of a car that pulled quickly in front of me the ABS light and check engine light came on with a code of C1391 - Abnormal leak in Accumulator. This raises serious questions about safety, reliability, and whether this issue extends beyond the originally recalled model year. I would like this c

I purchased this 2020 Maserati Levante in 2023. The first month of driving it, it shut down in the middle of the street on Crenshaw Blvd. I freaked out and restarted it after few seconds. For the past years of purchasing this vehicle, the engine light keeps coming on and off.The camera never worked good because it would freeze, the screen would be blue, green, or red or completely blank out, with
... no rear view which is very dangerous. I would start the vehicle and engine light on dashboard. I called dealership and was told it happens when gas is low. I didn’t understand. I keep the vehicle 1/2 filled with gas. I keep seeing the engine light come on and goes off in one to two days. For the past 2 years. The “Start/Stop light comes on with an exclamation ❗️ mark for past 8 months. I would drive for a week or so and the see the engine light back on the dashboard. I have been to dealer at Vanuys Maserati 2 times with issues. The right passenger inside frame fell off in 2024. They fixed it . They told me the screws were loose. I went back on September 30, 2025, because the engine light came on again on September 28 & 29, 2025 and the Start/stop ❗️remains on. On that morning of September 30, 2025 the engine light miraculously came off. They did a diagnostic check and charged me $700 and told me I need a new reverse camera and a thermostat. So in all since 2023 of June, I have been having critical issues with camera blanks out. The engine light goes off and on. The start/stop don’t work anymore. On August 26, 2025, my 2018 Ford Focus suffered an engine failure and had to be towed by AAA to [XXX] of Saugus. Prior to the tow, service advisor [XXX] confirmed the vehicle could be inspected for secondary engine damage connected to Ford recall 23S64 (oil pump drive belt). On August 29, [XXX] texted me that the engine required replacement due to engine failure but that Ford would not cover it
... since the oil pump belt itself had “not failed.” He claimed Ford only covers engine replacement if the belt breaks outright. This is inaccurate: recall obligations extend to secondary damage caused by the defect, which in my case left the car inoperable. When I requested inspection documentation, technician notes, and photos, Service Director [XXX] and [XXX] told me “there is no checklist” and insisted the car was “drivable,” which was false—I have the AAA tow receipt. Internal correspondence shows [XXX] asking if photos “must have been taken for SSSC contact,” yet the case was never escalated to Ford’s Special Service Support Center as required. On Sept. 30, [XXX] emailed me that he would no longer respond, accused me of manipulating details, threatened storage fees, and refused to perform recall repairs. On Oct. 1, in person, he told me [XXX] “does not need to follow Ford recall protocol” because it is a private dealer and that he blocked my vehicle in Ford’s system to prevent any [XXX] location from performing recall work. I believe [XXX] of Saugus and Ford Motor Company have failed to comply with federal recall obligations, misrepresented the condition of my vehicle, refused escalation, and retaliated against me. I respectfully request NHTSA investigate Ford and enforce compliance with recall 23S64 so my vehicle has both the recall and the secondary engine damage repaired, ensuring that my car is safe to drive INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)Read more

THIS FIRST PORTION OF THE DESCRIPTION IF AN ENGLISH TRANSLATION FROM THE LATTER PART, WHICH WAS RECEIVED IN SPANISH. Complaint to NHTSA – Unresolved Recall on 2021 Toyota Camry I own a used 2021 Toyota Camry purchased from an authorized Toyota dealer. After purchase, I discovered that the vehicle has an open recall related to the airbag system. According to information from NHTSA, there is cur
... rently no solution available from the manufacturer. My concern is twofold: 1. The vehicle makes a constant daily noise, apparently related to the problem reported in the recall, which increases my distrust in the car's safety. 2. The dealership did not inform me before purchase about the existence of this active, unrepaired recall, which I consider a serious lack of transparency and a safety risk to consumers. This puts me in a situation of road safety concerns, as I am driving a vehicle that does not meet minimum safety standards due to a defect recognized by the manufacturer, but with no available remedy. I request that NHTSA: Investigate the case and confirm whether Toyota and the dealership are complying with their notification and transparency obligations. Demand that the manufacturer provide a clear and timely solution to this recall, as consumers should not be driving a defective vehicle without alternatives. Strengthen consumer protection mechanisms so that no dealership can sell vehicles with open recalls and no repairs available without explicitly informing the buyer. I trust that NHTSA can intervene, as this is a public safety risk that affects not only me as the owner, but also my passengers and other drivers on the road. para NHTSA – Recall sin solución en Toyota Camry 2021 Soy propietario de un Toyota Camry 2021 (usado) adquirido en un concesionario oficial de Toyota. A few times the steering control has shut off while I am driving. Steering failure lasts a few seconds and then returns to normal function. The car makes a VERY loud alarm sound when the steering is inoperable. I have not seen any failure messages on the screen or in the Service menu. I took the car to Tesla for service yesterday. They did some sort of remote scan of the fault codes and told me
... that there is nothing wrong. They told me to continue to drive the car and record when the steering stops working again. This sounds like ridiculously bad advice to me. While the steering control has always returned in just a few seconds, that does not mean that it will in any future failure. I am concerned about driving this car. Tesla wants $275 an hour to investigate the problem, which also seems ridiculous to me. I have seen that there has been a recall for similar problems in newer Tesla Model S vehicles. It seems logical to me that these problems may be related and deserve additional investigation ... at Tesla's expense.Read more

I purchased 2 Nuna Rava car seats from Bloomingdale's website on [XXX] and [XXX]. On December 20, 2024 it was announced the Nuna Rava is being recalled and my specific car seats are affected. Following my request and no further updates or repair kit, I reached out to Nuna on February 3rd, February 5th and February 7th via email communication to obtain my repair kit and was told there is no infor
... mation they can provide. I also reached out via phone on February 5th and 6th and spoke with Nuna customer service supervisor Seth. I relayed the seriousness of the recall. It would be unreasonable to expect customers to wait for Nuna to fix the recall at their leisure and put children's safety at risk in the interim while they develop a solution. I was told he would call back in a couple of days. I never heard back. Nuna is now ignoring all my emails and has ceased responding altogether. Both car seats are under warranty and have an obvious defect in workmanship. My child's safety is at risk and the company has gone completely unresponsive. The recall itself, though it is stated to be "voluntary", is a dangerous safety hazard. A latch which releases the harness is exposed, allowing a child to press down the release button and move freely out of the car seat - a child with average to longer arms could easily achieve this as I demonstrated on the call with the supervisor. The repair is a replacement fabric cover which covers the latch altogether. It is obvious Nuna is unable to provide a repair to address the recall, nearly 2 months after the recall was announced and provide any other recticiation to resolve the problem. Subsequently, I contacted Bloomingdales to obtain a refund or replacement of the defective seats, which are still under warranty. Bloomingdales associate Employee ID 91224349 relayed Bloomingdales is unwilling to offer any support despite the fact that I purchased the car seats from Bloomingdales. While it wasn't a catastrophic failure it could have been had this happened while driving at highway speeds. It seems that this type of failure is common in RAM 1500 trucks (2015 and 2016 models
... were recalled for the same reason, contaminated electronic power steering circuit board or module). This type of failure is a definite safety hazard especially if the power steering failure prevents the driver from having control of the vehicle during this episode.Read more

I’ve owned this car since Jan 2021. Throughout this time the car will show the exact problems mentioned in the Maserati Recall 338. The car will shut off while I’m in traffic, or if I’m slowly going through a yield sign the car will unexpectedly shift into neutral. I’ve tried talking to my local Maserati dealer over the years and all they keep saying is no, you have no open recalls. M
... y car is doing exactly what the recall was for. All I want is a remedy. I’m getting nowhere, they want to charge me $300 to do diagnostics. My car was manufactured 9/2016 which is of the same time of the recalled vehicles. “ Maserati S.p.A. and MNA have determined that a defect that relates to motor vehicle safety exists in model year 2017 Maserati Levante S vehicles and Levante vehicles. Maserati S.p.A. and MNA have determined that the above described vehicles were manufactured with an engine software issue. Specifically, if the vehicle is being operated at speeds of approximately 2 miles per hour (low engine RPM), which can be encountered during heavy stop and go (bumper to bumper) traffic conditions, the transmission may shift into neutral or possibly have an engine shut down condition, thereby increasing the risk of a vehicle crash.” This quote is from your own website, yet I can’t get any remedies from Maserati. This needs to be known that all affected cars were not recalled. THIS HAS BEEN AN ONGOING PROBLEM SINCE IVE OWNED THE CAR. IT STILL HAPPENS TODAY. I’ve nearly been Tboned in traffic because my car switched to neutral. Help. I feel like this is falling on deaf ears. Several of these cars are now coming up for sale on the used car market and people need to know that these cars are dangerous.Read more

June 28th, 2024; the entire car turned off on its own while I was waiting for a red light. The engine was primarily off from the auto-start feature, like normal, except after I let go of the brake the entire car just shuts off. The start button would not press, the brake pedal was insanely stiff to press, and the dashboard had all the lights turned on an off, and I couldn't change gears whatsoever
... . Many displays on the dash appeared, parking brake was forced to turn on, pre-collision feature disabled, "System off to save battery" on the main screen, etc. I was in the middle of traffic, so I was putting myself and others in danger while my car suddenly shuts off without prior warning. There was never an indication that this would happen, and I only had the car for a year and a half, so I would think the only problem would be the system itself. I managed to turn the car on by putting the key fob on the center console where the Bronco can read it, and it immediately turned on after an hour. The dealership did check it out right after and said it only needed a small system update. Ever since, the car was fine until July 24th: the car did not start again. I was home and my car was parked, so no danger this time. However, I tried laying the key on the console again, including my spare key, but no luck. I had originally thought it was the battery in my key that was low, but it was working fine like always. However, when I locked the car, the horn and lights were faded, and weren't as strong as it should sound. Although this is the second occurrence in about a month, I've only had the dealership inspect it once. I am available for inspection after August 1st. Thank you.Read more

Twice while going up a hill in the rain I was changing lanes and the cruise cut out causing the vehicle to slow down rapidly and kick out in the back. The cruise abruptly stops when the “service electronic braking system” and “service abs” lights and dinging come on. Apparently this also stops the traction control from working. Looking on the internet and forums, this is a very common issu
