MY VEHICLE HAS TWO FAULTS THAT I BELIEVE ARE UNSAFE. FIRST, WHILE DRIVING, THE VEHICLE HAS ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS PUT ITSELF INTO NEUTRAL AND SHUT THE ENGINE OFF. AN ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL (ETC) WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATES WHEN THIS HAPPENS. THE MOST RECENT OCCURRENCE WAS ON AUGUST 24, 2026, AT LOW SPEED IN THE MIDDLE OF A TURN WITH ONCOMING TRAFFIC PRESENT. I LOST DRIVE PART WAY THROUGH THE TU
... RN AND HAD TO RESTART THE ENGINE WHILE STOPPED IN THE ROADWAY TO CLEAR THE INTERSECTION. THERE HAS BEEN NO CRASH AND NO INJURY. SECOND, THE VEHICLE INTERMITTENTLY FAILS TO START. SOMETIMES IT STARTS NORMALLY. OTHER TIMES IT WILL NOT START AT ALL, AND ONLY STARTS AFTER REPEATED ATTEMPTS AND A WAIT WHILE THE SYSTEMS RESET. THE KEY FOB BATTERY HAS BEEN REPLACED TWICE, ONCE BY ME AND ONCE BY THE DEALER IN JANUARY 2026, AND I HAVE TRIED MULTIPLE KEY FOBS. THE PROBLEM CONTINUED IN EVERY CASE, SO I DO NOT BELIEVE THE FOB IS THE CAUSE. THE DEALER'S OWN REPAIR RECORDS SHOW REPEATED ELECTRICAL FAULTS ON THIS VEHICLE. IN FEBRUARY 2025 AT 32,337 MILES THE VEHICLE STORED CODE P00C1, DISPLAYED AN ELECTRIC THROTTLE CONTROL MESSAGE AND WAS SLOW TO ACCELERATE; A WIRING HARNESS WAS FOUND SHORTED AGAINST THE A/C CONDENSER PULLEY AND FUSE 37 HAD BLOWN. THAT IS THE SAME WARNING I NOW SEE WHEN THE VEHICLE SHUTS DOWN. IN JUNE 2026 AT 64,485 MILES THE A/C COMPRESSOR SEIZED. IN AUGUST 2026 AT 65,625 MILES THE REPLACEMENT COMPRESSOR'S CLUTCH WAS FOUND SHORTED AT 0 OHMS AGAINST A 3.3 OHM SPECIFICATION, DRAWING OVER 12 AMPS ON A CIRCUIT PROTECTED BY A 10 AMP FUSE, WHICH OPENED FUSE F12. TWO COMPRESSORS FAILED IN TEN WEEKS. I DO NOT KNOW WHETHER THE STALLING AND THE NO-START ARE RELATED TO THOSE ELECTRICAL FAULTS. NOBODY HAS DIAGNOSED THEM. THE STALLING HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED AND I HAVE STOPPED DRIVING THE VEHICLE. SERVICING DEALER: MASERATI OF CHARLOTTE, 400 TYVOLA ROAD, CHARLOTTE, NC.Read more

as i come to a stop and go to accelerate my transmission stutters and sometimes slips,i went to gm website and there is a recall on the 2018 chevy traverse transmission but my vin isnt included. i have all the symptons of the recall as described on the gm website but again my vin isnt included in the recall. it only has 61k miles i been having issue since around 30k i been in and out of dealership
... but the test drive it and it doesnt do it and they just give it back to me,they told me i gotta catch it doing it and try to get it in.i contacted chevy and they instructed me to come to this site fill this form out. chevy told me my vehicle probally wasnt included in the recall because not enough people reported it so i should fill out a report. around 55k miles when the transmission slipped and the rpms rose really high it snapped the drive shaft which was scary as i had my children in car and car just stopped moving right in the middle of traffic if it would of been busy i could of been rear ended because of the sudden stoppage. i keep trying to get back in dealership but i work mornings so the driving i do is later i day so when it acts up the dealer is closed and they are closed sat and sun so by the time i get to them the next day or on a monday it doesnt do it for them so they just keep giving me car back and i keep worrying about something happening like on the highway with my kids in car. the dealer did have someone test drive car and it did reproduce the symptoms but they made appointment for following week and when tech it then it didnt act up so it was returned to me once againRead more

I leased a 2024 Maserati GranTurismo Modena, delivered December 31, 2025. Within the first four months, the vehicle has experienced four tire blowouts during normal highway driving, without impact, collision, or rim damage I provided dashcam evidence showing that the tire failures occurred under normal road conditions. Despite this, Maserati has consistently attributed the incidents to “road h
... azards” and has offered no investigation or acknowledgment of a potential defect. Most concerning, no solution has been provided to prevent recurrence. Each failed tire has been replaced with the exact same specification, despite repeated failures, leaving an ongoing safety concern. I made multiple good-faith efforts to work with Maserati to identify solutions, including alternative tire configurations or safer options for Northeast driving conditions. These requests were not addressed. During a phone call, I was dismissively told by a representative (Anthony) to seek solutions myself. Maserati has refused my request for a buyback or lease termination, despite repeated failures, lack of a preventative solution, and extended loss of use. The assertion that this vehicle is “suitable for normal driving conditions” is inconsistent with its real-world performance. Four identical failures within four months under routine conditions is not consistent with normal operation and indicates a systemic issue, regardless of whether a traditional “manufacturing defect” has been identified. Equally concerning, Maserati’s only proposed guidance is to “avoid road hazards” and reduce speed. This is not a realistic or acceptable solution for operating a vehicle on public roads in the Northeast United States, where such minor imperfections are unavoidable. Advising avoidance of normal road conditions does not resolve the issue and does not ensure safety.Read more

I received the 2022 Hybrid Ford Maverck XLT on March 2023, and had first 12V battery replacement on August 2023 as it was dysfunctional leading to car stalling. On 01/11/2026, the truck suddenly got stalled during drive due to the dysfunction (8.0V) again of the 12V battery, which triggered several error codes. Obviously, this is the truck defect can may pose catastrophic risk to driver and surrounding drivers. I searched Google and found more 2022 Maverick with such serious issue! My total cost of repair and towing from this defect is $1145.11. Thank God that my family was safe during the sudden stalling while driving. My car always did a weird shuddering thing when taking turns a certain way. I just thought it was part of how the new vehicle worked. I thought it was strange when I took my car in to repair a front tire, and was told / showed that the back two tire treads were worn down. The new car only had 20,249 miles. But I read somewhere that some new car dealers use lower tread tires to save money, so I did
... not pursue anything. Then, when someone pointed out that the 'weird shuddering' was not normal, I took it into Audi to have them look at it. Audi did a repair, and said I had to drive it 600 miles to know if it would be resolved. After the 600 miles, the problem continued. I took back, and they said they know what it is but they have to go through certain steps first. They told me this time that the good news was that they would replace with a new center differential, but the bad news was they were not sure how long it would take to get one in. I waited patiently, and then received a call saying it was fixed, (but they did not replace the part). What I did not know at the time was that a message was left 10 minutes earlier saying the part came in and they would be replacing it. After further questioning, the Audi guy said the new 'fix' heats up the fluid better and allows it to work its way through better. He said he was informed moments after he left the VM (where he said they were going to replace it), that the technician told him, and he took it for a drive, and it was 'fixed.' He then told me what he drives, saying his does it too. He said the technical bulletin says i must drive 250 miles (again) and later when I picked it up he said 500 miles. I pointed out my concerns regarding the safety of driving a malfunctioning differential (loss of traction, poor handling, and the potential for complete failure while driving), as well as uneven tire wear. He emphasized that it's fixed and completely safe, even though they did not replace like I was told they would.Read more

While driving normally at around 30mph and without warning, the vehicle displayed multiple warning messages related to the HV Battery and lost all motive power in the middle of the road with insufficient time to pull over, creating a safety hazard. Upon inspection by a mechanic independent of Tesla, the HV Battery was found to have multiple voltage sense leads disconnected from the flexible PCB p
... ads that lead to the BMB for each module. One of the 96 bricks had all four sense leads disconnected, resulting in the loss of motive power due to the inability for the BMS to accurately measure the voltage of that brick. In fact, the vehicle displayed module over voltage and under voltage alerts due to this open/high resistance sense harness connection. Out of all 96 bricks, 13 bricks had at least one loose sense lead, and one brick (besides the affected brick) had 3 out of 4 sense leads loose/disconnected from the PCB pad. Any loose leads were only at the PCB pad end, not at the current collector end. These sense leads are ultrasonically welded through the same attachment process as the cells, but the connections to the flex PCB pad are clearly not as robust as the other connections or are exposed to higher vibration over time due to relative motion of the flex. The flex PCB design was introduced in 2015, just before the Gen 2 HV Battery, and in production until the 2021 refresh. The HV Battery did not ever have any visible liquid ingress or physical damage. It is my understanding through various forums such as Tesla Motors Club that this is an increasingly common issue, and that Tesla is experiencing a high rate of this open voltage sense harness issue at their service centers for vehicles that have not been in any prior accidents or incidents (forums generally only have salvage vehicles that are out of warranty). Errors typically are: BMS_f107_SW_Cell_Voltage_Sensor BMS_f177_OpenVshDetected BMS_w129_SW_BMB_VSH_Connector Or their variants (a129, w177, etc.)Read more

I purchased 2 Nuna Rava car seats from Bloomingdale's website on [XXX] and [XXX]. On December 20, 2024 it was announced the Nuna Rava is being recalled and my specific car seats are affected. It would be unreasonable to expect customers to wait for Nuna to fix the recall at their leisure and put children's safety at risk in the interim while they develop a solution. I was told he would call back in a couple of days. I never heard back. Nuna is now ignoring all my emails and has ceased responding altogether. Both car seats are under warranty and have an obvious defect in workmanship. My child's safety is at risk and the company has gone completely unresponsive. The recall itself, though it is stated to be "voluntary", is a dangerous safety hazard. A latch which releases the harness is exposed, allowing a child to press down the release button and move freely out of the car seat - a child with average to longer arms could easily achieve this as I demonstrated on the call with the supervisor. The repair is a replacement fabric cover which covers the latch altogether. It is obvious Nuna is unable to provide a repair to address the recall, nearly 2 months after the recall was announced and provide any other recticiation to resolve the problem. Subsequently, I contacted Bloomingdales to obtain a refund or replacement of the defective seats, which are still under warranty. My 2021 Silverado with only 80,655 miles had to have the engine replaced. On 11/20/24, my vehicle indicated a P0303 code for miss-fire in cylinder 3. I took my vehicle to for repair to a local Chevy Dealership and was informed of the following: 1) Needed programming changes to the fuel injection based on service bulletin N242450631. This repair was completed by the dealer. 2
... ) Needed a “tear down” for further diagnostic. It was determined that the specific code could not be repaired and the entire engine needed to be replaced which was done at my cost. The details on service bulletin N242450631 are limited and do not describe issues that could be caused by the fuel injector problem. Relative to service bulletin N242450631 fuel injector issue, based on my experience with my vehicle, I believe this fuel injector programming bulletin issue caused the engine malfunction and subsequent need to replacement. Before the bulletin repair was completed, I know that my vehicle engine surged often. Looking back now, this constant surging had to be hard on the engine and likely caused the failure. Regardless, if it wasn’t the service bulletin that caused the issue, a vehicle engine should last more than 80,000 miles. I believe GM needs to take responsibility for the engine failure which I believe was caused by faulty workmanship, design, computer engine programming, or some combination of these issues.Read more
