FIRST OF ALL, I HAVE ONLY HAD MY CAR FOR ONE YEAR. DURING THIS YEAR MY CAR IS ON ITS THIRD TIME LOOSING ITS BRAKES. ALL TIMES IT HAS HAPPENED OUT OF NOWHERE, AND WHILE I WAS DRIVING AND APPLYING BRAKES TO EITHER STOP OR TURN ON A ROAD. ALL THREE TIMES I ALMOST CRASHED. WHEN IT HAPPENED YESTERDAY FOR THE THIRD TIME, I WAS APPLYING BRAKES WHILE PULLING UP TO A STOP SIGN AND MY BRAKES FELT FINE AT FIRST WHILE I WAS APPLYING PRESSURE BUT THEN IT WAS ALMOST LIKE IT BROKE SOME SORT OF SEAL (OR I HAD SUPPER POWERS) AND PUSH STRAIGHT TO THE FLOOR. VERY SCARY! I COULD FEEL SOMETHING LIKE RUBBER OR PARTS KIND OF RUBBING AGAINST EACH OTHER, BUT NO GRINDING OF THE ACTUAL BRAKE PADS. TO SUM ALL OF THE UP, I AM 50 YEARS OLD AND HAVE ONLY PURCHASED CARS THAT RANGE AROUND $5,000. I THOUGHT I DESERVED A NICER AND SAFER CAR FOR ONCE IN MY LIFE. THE ABS LIGHT HAS CAME ON RIGHT ABOUT THE TIME OF NOTIFICATION. KEEP GETTING TOLD THAT PARTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE TO REPAIR ON THE RECALL. IF I WANTED TO PAY FOR IT THEN THEY COULD REPAIR THE PROBLEM. WHILE DRIVING, ALARMS DINGED AND LIGHTS POPPED UP IN MY INSTRUMENT PANEL. THIS PREVIOUSLY HAPPENED ON 9/6/2020, BUT RESOLVED AFTER 2 DAYS. THIS CURRENT INCIDENT HAPPENED ON 10/2/2020 AND REMAINS ACTIVE 5 DAYS LATER. THE SERVICE STATION FOUND NO CAUSE PREVIOUSLY. THE FIRST INCIDENT HAPPENED RIGHT AFTER LEAVING MY HOME. I WAS DRIVING ABOUT 20MPH ON A RAINY DAY. THE ALARMS SOUNDED AND LIGHTS CAME ON, WHEN I ATTEMPTED TO BRAKE FOR A STOP SIGN IS WHEN I DISCOVERED THE BRAKES NOT WORKING PROPERLY. THE SECOND INCIDENT THAT IS CONTINUING BEGAN A BIT DIFFERENTLY.
