The power brake booster failed. This happened without any warning or warnings lights coming on. We noticed a hissing sound when using the brakes and a spongy feel. Upon doing research, we noticed this is a known issue with Ford and Lincoln and our car was manufactured one month outside of the Customer Satisfaction Program 13N02. This program repairs this exact issue at no cost within 10 years and on cars up to 150k miles. Our car has 81k miles on it. There is no question about the dangers of these vehicles on the road. There should be a recall and it should be extended to cover OUR CAR. We should not have to pay out of pocket for the EXACT same issue others whose car was manufactured one month earlier are being covered for.
