The fuel tank's front support bracket completely rusted out. I was driving and started to hear a very loud grinding sound. The bracket gave way completely dropping the tank almost to the ground and pushing the fuel tank bracket into the drive shaft grinding into it. The brackets seem to be made from a thinner/weaker material which is prone to heavy rust. Vehicle has been in Kentucky most of its life and is only 6 years old. This issue could've led to me being seriously injured or killed. I am unaware if this problem has been reproduced but I am aware of a recall for the same issue on earlier model year trucks by RAM. On August 28, 2023, I purchased two Yokohama Avid Ascend LX BW tires, size 205/55R16. I was charged $209.19 for each tire, plus another $129.95 for a 4-wheel alignment. ... the freeway to buy gas. When I started to leave the gas station, I noticed my tire warning light was on. I got out of the car and noticed the left rear tire was low and going flat. I drove home (less than one mile) and called a towing service. The towing service did not arrive. So I sprayed canned air in the tire and drove to the tire shop. The tire shop person said the tire was not repairable and showed me a large hole in the tire tread with what looked like fraying around the hole. The person said he could not tell what caused the flat but suggested it may have been aggravated by heat. It was about 95 degrees outside. They put the spare on my car. I called the dealership where I bought the tire, and they said to take it to an affiliated dealership, which I did the following day. That dealership person took pictures of the tire but did not know what caused the flat. They said they would have to order a replacement tire, which did not arrive until October 6, 2023. They charged me another $36.16 to install the replacement. For the large price charged, these tires should have been durable, reliable, and trouble free. My efforts to contact Yokohama were returned “undeliverable.” I am concerned about the safety and reliability of these expensive tires. If these tires are affected by heat, they should not be sold in the western United States where the climate is often hot in the summer and fall months. All of my oil changes have been done religiously at the same Kia dealer where I bought my 2020 Telluride but ever since my 1/14/23 oil change, I have experienced oil leaking from my car on and off. They had it up on the lift, ran it for a while, gave it back to me, no leaks finally! My car didn't leak between 3/25/23 & 6/10/23 when I had my next routine dealer oil change done. I also didn't experience any leaks between 6/10/23 & 9/5/23 when I had another routine oil change. However, shortly after the 9/5/23 oil change, we discovered the car was leaking oil again. Brought it back to the dealer on 9/25/23 where they said it was another bad filter, changed it and sent me on my way. The following week, I noticed oil leaking, yet again, so I brought the car back to the dealer where they then diagnosed it as a cracked oil filter housing. I am out of warranty so naturally they expect me to pay out of pocket. Either way. I don't see how this is a consumer issue considering I had 8 oil changes in 10 months when I should have only had 2 or 3. So if the oil filter housing is now indeed cracked, the additional wear & tear is not a result of normal wear & tear (consumer issue) but of excessive oil changes done by the dealer due to faulty oil filters. Or maybe it's been a crack in the plastic oil filter housing all along but then why didn't it leak between 3/25/23 & 9/5/23? Either way, the problem shouldn't fall back on the consumer. The internet is full of Kia owners experiencing oil leaks after oil changes and it needs to be addressed.Read more

... repair shop for 12 years and my guys fix 2000 cars per year. I am an ASE master certified mechanic and I can assure anyone that there is nothing normal about this bang. They tell me they drive a like vehicle and if it also makes noise, there is nothing they can do. I have reached out to Lincoln Concierge multiple times and they tell me they will do nothing if a like vehicle also does it. I think of the 2019 Pacifica that the lower ball joint pinch bolts comes out and folds the wheel under the vehicle. I have had 3 service managers drive the car and they have all told me that it sounds really bad and abnormal. I have been told by all of those managers that Lincoln enforces not doing any further diagnostics or repairs if they all do it. I did drive a 2023 Aviator with a service advisor and it did not make the same noise mine does. You can actually feel the noise in the steering wheel. I have pleaded with them to investigate the issue and at least let me speak with a supervisor about it but they refuse. I have asked the dealers to put a set of chassis ears on the suspension to pinpoint the sound and they say Lincoln will not let them. The vehicle has 33k on it and is still under full factory and extended CPO warranty. Can you guys look into this issue before someone gets hurt ? Sept 9th, 2023 while driving on the interstate the vehicle lost all propulsion power, red lights shown in "gear, P N D" indicator area. I was in left lane and had to get to the side of the road, 4 lanes over, where putting the car in park and back in drive allowed for it to move forward again. I proceeded to a charging station to inspect the car and during this I hear a thump in the trunk area whe
... n going over bumps. Upon inspection under the car the rear access cover was hanging down but it was dark. The following morning a closer look revealed the rear subframe where the engine mounts had broken and a large piece of the frame was missing from the inside down. Mounting tab and hardware were still in place but pulled from the structure itself. The car was not handling correctly as if it had a low tire but tire pressure was correct. At drop off I noticed the rear camber seemed quite cambered. As a structural engineer I can see where the mounting tab weld to the aluminum frame failed. The frame appears to be cast and extruded tubing welded together and the failure is what would be considered a weak point at a weld. Car is currently at Tesla Norfolk Virginia for an evaluation and when I showed them the issue the staff did not want to document the issue and requested I perform a drive along with a tech. I asked why as the pics were evidence enough as to my complaint and issue. Cursory investigation online yielded this is not an isolated occurrence and with others having very serious failures I felt it important that perhaps it is severe enough for a modified part replacement. UNKNOWN my car has less then 50,000miles on it and it keeps stalling usually it starts right back up but twice it took about 5 minutes to start back up it gets regular oil changes

I moved forward and hit this stone and then when I hit the stone. I tried to reverse and I lost control of my car. The car began spinning and I had no control of the car. The car finally crashed on it’ s own. I could not brake or nothing. I was rushed to the emergency room. I had a headache and my body was sore.

... ter being quoted $9k to replace the engine, I called the dealership looking for help. They are aware of the extensive issues I’ve had with my vehicle but were unable to help me because I’m over 100k miles (I opted for the extended service plan) and suggested I call the Ford Customer Service line in hopes they could assist. I was denied a claim due to my mileage and instructed to write a letter to the Ford Customer Relationship Center to escalate my case. I was told my Case would remain on file and I would be notified if a recall was issued at a later date. I asked if a recall was issued would I still have to be in possession of the vehicle to receive any monetary reimbursement, she advised that I would need to have my original receipt from the purchase of the vehicle AND the recall would have to specifically state that they would reimburse those who paid out of pocket to get their vehicles repaired. I am without a car until I figure out how to pay for the repairs or buy a new vehicle; I was not expecting my trade-in value to be $0 and Ford couldn’t care less.Read more
